its still so crazy to think about how she started and how she ended. like, she was a normal person thrown into all the craziness of shield and became more and more badass with every season, never giving up despite enduring so much pain and trauma, until she ends as one of the top agents in shield and a superhero on her own spaceship with her boyfriend, the man out of time and her long lost sister. shes always been capable of more than she imagined.

So I finished reading The Lunar Cronicles

Spoilers ahead ⚠

The last book itself follows the frenetic pace of the previous ones, covering the organization of the revolution and retaking of the throne by Cinder/Selene. It was an incredible journey to follow the Rampion crew always coming together and separating to wage this war against Levana.

I really liked the destiny given to each character, as they were left open-ended and with more scope, leaving a lot to the imagination, as well as hooks for the author herself - she's not stupid or anything - to continue writing.

My complaints are:

1. I didn't like Levana's ending, the villain's profile created since the first book didn't do justice to her attitudes towards the end. I expected an outcome for Levana and a final clash between aunt and niece much more dignified than it was. But I gave the author poetic license for this quick passage of the final events. It just didn't satisfy me or convince me that much. Still, I consider Levana to be one of the best villains I've ever met - really loved to hate her haha

2. Thorne and Cress will always be the most interesting couple in this series.

That said, I'm on my way to reading the spin-offs of the series (Cinder's Adventure, Stars Above, Levana and the graphic novels Wires and Nerve) with great excitement and enjoying the momentum.

The saga has all the elements that keep us interested and following its captivating characters. I'm now a fan.

You had to pause then and think for a bit; Ghost was...interested in you? Very interested in you? But he always looked like he was one step away from wrangling your neck or when you were on a solo mission with him he always acted like you were just dead weight, not outright cruel but not nice at all either, even now when asking for your help seemed like pulling teeth for him so where did this...obsession come from?

You'd be lying if you said that it didn't confuse you or scare you a little bit but...why did your heart skip a bit too?
