My religion has taught me that she is my door to the Eternal Garden if I obey Allah by fulfilling her rights. Isn’t the Garden at my mother’s feet? Isn’t my wife the measure of my goodness and righteousness with Allah? Aren’t my daughters and sisters a door to the Garden and means by which I can attain the companionship of the Prophet therein?
But, the question is: have I upheld and lived by these teachings?

Treat someone who has done something wrong to you, however bad it is, as you would wish Allah to treat you when you do something wrong, however bad it is. Reflect on what Allah says: “Let them forgive and overlook. Do you not wish that Allah should forgive you?” (24:22)

Hatred can never reside in a heart that is filled with the love of Allah;
A person occupied with the blemishes of their own soul can never look down on others;
The one who witnesses Allah's preordained blessings and benevolence can never be overcome with despair.

Hasan al-Basri, may God have mercy upon him, was asked:
"Why do you appear unconcerned with what people say about you?”
He said, “When I was born I was born alone, when I shall die I will die alone, when I am placed in my grave I will be alone, and when I am taken to account before God I shall be alone. If I then enter the Fire it will be alone. And if I enter Paradise it will be alone. So what business do I have with people?"

Seek God’s aid: in fulfilling the prayer; for the grace to perform acts of obedience and experience them spiritually; to leave sins; to be insistent in prayer (dua), imploring supplication (tadarru’) and the seeking of God’s grace (tawfīq).
