The way you met Ateez was super cute

So you actually work at a school as a staff and teacher

and Ateez for a new Wanteez episode wanted to try to be teachers for a day

Now you’re actually a big fan of Ateez and was delighted to have them contact your school and asked if they could film at there

Not only would it be great publicity for the school, you get to see your favorite idols too

Of course you knew some of the kids also enjoys Ateez so it would be a nice surprise for them too

So the day they arrived you were actually one of the teachers there to greet them

Jesus they’re so handsome in person…

They weren’t fairing much better either cause the moment they saw you for the first time

They were absolutely floored.

Then somehow, almost like destiny, the principal assigned you to be the one to give Ateez and their staff a tour of the school before shoot started

During the tour you get to see how even off camera they really weren’t that different.

They were still the kind, hilarious, chatty and respectful group you know.

Here they also got to learn more about you.

They were amazed with your passion for your job.

Also with how much joy and light you exude.

They just adored how you work with the kids and they can tell you’re a lovely person from how the kids also love you.

One kid actually ran up and hugged you when you walked by and your interaction with them melted their hearts

“Hi Minhwa! Oh well Miss Y/n today had to help Mr. Min! This is a very special group! This is Ateez! And Miss Y/n is showing them around!”

Then seeing Yeosang that cutie patootie so filled with determination at every challenge was so wonderful

Making sure all the children are happy and comfortable.

Mingi was shy and a lil awkward but still did his best and it was so endearing to witness.

You knew a group of kids who just were so passionate for music just like him

So you pulled him aside to introduce him to them

When he learned these kids shared his passion they all immediately got along and became best buds

He was grateful for you for helping him

Mingi laughed but still hyped them up and the kids started buzzing with excitement

Unfortunately though things had to come to an end

The shoot went wonderfully and everyone involved had a great time

BLOG #4 - WHEN OTHERS AREN'T FANS

hai haaii!! this topic isnt as fun, but its an important one that has come up during my three months as a full-on gal.

im very lucky to have always had a supportive group of people: my mom, brother, partner, friends & acquaintances. They do their best to understand my (sometimes questionable) stylistic choices and give me plenty of attention for it. Many parents and important family members arent as approving of things like trad-goth, lolita, cosplay, or other alternative styles/hobbies/lifestyles--but mine are!

however, i can tell that a few of the people closest to me arent as big on gyaru as i am. they make comments on my makeup, saying that it takes away from my natural beauty and other similar things. i can understand people not understanding or even LIKING gal style/makeup. it is VERY over the top and sometimes "garish" to the uninitiated LOL, so its not even the fact that they just dont like gyaru.

its just that they dont seem to get how beautiful i feel in gal! if im naturally beautiful, fine, but i feel more like my natural self when im all dressed up--whether it be in lolita, goth, gal, whatever!

strangers also seem to disapprove at times. many older men and women glare at me, sometimes even pointing me out to their friends and whispering to them, like i cant see them. what i do when i see someone visibly mocking me is i blow them a kiss. if theyre gonna remember me for looking crazy, might as well let em know ill remember them, too!

the way my loved ones react hurts much more than some randos, tho. but i try to keep my head up and keep doin me, because if they cant see how gorgeous i feel, i wont keep trying to explain it! despite how they may feel, however, i am still very thankful they dont try to change me or stop me. it shows they really do love me ;-; (though i knew that already LOLL)

Angela is always there with a listening ear if you need to talk about scary things that have happened at work. She knows going through the trauma of saving people is hard to manage. She’ll hold you as you cry or complain about the crappy things that come with your job. If your job ever makes your mental health go to extremes, she’s going to find you the best therapist on the market. She knows that she helps you, but it would also be good to have a professional on your team as well. 

If you ever were to be injured on the job, Angela is immediately rushing to help. The moment she sees the tiniest burn or scrape, she already cleaning and dressing your wound while giving you a warning about being more careful. God forbid you get a bad burn, she would panic internally. She would appear very calm while tending to your burns and marks. As soon as you were stable and okay, she would bursts into tears. She was so terrified for you. Please reassure her!! She’ll be with you every step of the way during recovery. 

Despite your girlfriend being an intelligent doctor, she’s not good at staying calm when she sees fire. There have been a time or two when Angela has set things on fire in your shared home. One time she was trying to cook up a fancy meal for you both and proceeded to over-heat the oil in the pan, causing a small grease fire. Instead of remembering the fire safety tips she’s been taught, she panicked and screamed. You come rushing into the kitchen and see the fire. You grab the lid, quickly cover it, and turn off the stove. She’s so thankful you were there to help! “You’re my knight and shining armor”, Angela giggles, giving you a kiss on the cheek as a thank you.

i like being feminine presenting, i think of me and locket as sapphics, she/her is completely ok with me! if anything i'd actually prefer she/her over he/him but it's really up to you (if you use he/him on me that's fine but i'd just prefer if you add in they or she with it too), i just would prefer if people view me as lilay or lavender and use any pronouns they think fits me :P

HIS CHARACTER.

i feel he, as a character, is quite childlike in the sense he just does whatever strikes his fancy because that’s what he wants to do. but he’s also very calculating and subtle to not show potential weaknesses. i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone through a lot of trauma overall, though, seeing how he seems to dissociate from himself, going so far as to think he’s “above” humans, as if he himself isn’t one (and yet, he is also very human, in an almost raw sense – his interest in kate as his “favorite” shows that he is not actually that capable of letting go of worldly attachments, and he is drawn to the idea of the “impure” in his birthday epilogue, when he smeared berry sauce on kate’s cheeks and wanted to keep his eyes on that).

interestingly, how his childlike front and calculating personality interact is something we can witness in one go when we can look at his relationship with food. he probably has had some form of food trauma (e.g. dealing with assassination attempts via poison in his food), as he seems to need to see others eat the same food first before he himself eats. but he doesn’t ask this directly, instead phrasing it like an invitation for the other to eat first. in this way, he doesn’t have to put himself in a more vulnerable state than the other. he eats with proper table manners while dining with crown “out of consideration,” but he prefers to eat messily, likely as an act of rebellion…could he have been in a very controlling environment when he was young?

this could in turn spur him on to be controlling of others in the present. i don’t think he is incapable of love like he claims, but i do think his sense of love, thanks to what could be growing up in a controlling environment, is inherently warped. i mean, if we look at dari and his relationship with ring…i don’t think it’s that darius doesn’t hold any “love” for ring — he probably thinks it’s a form of love in a way — and i think ring does need darius in the sense that darius is the one who can provide him stability and validation. when ring is hesitant to do something, he turns to darius. if darius thinks it’s alright, then ring does too. but also, darius is arguably very controlling over ring and manipulates him too. could be abuse, if we’re speaking bluntly. (one that i think, in a sense, ring can feel too.)

RELATIONSHIP WITH KATE.

so if we extend from that logic, i think his relationship with kate would get a bit twisted and gnarly as time goes on, when kate starts to become more than a “favorite” that darius sorta likes to coddle over like a pet. he seems to hold some yandere tendencies fs over kate — which goes further to show his sort of controlling nature. hell, he joked abt shipping her to germany. darius calm down! we can discuss this ,,!

anw it’s probably more so a relationship where kate chooses to “fall” along with darius. stuck in this cycle of trying to prove love exists to him and whatnot. or, i think it would be cool for it to sort of be that way. i know it’s an otome game, but also i think i kind of like the idea of sort of exploring a more complicated relationship, where whether it’s really truly romantic in nature is sorta left more vague and up to interpretation.

at the moment, though, from what i can glean from these two…kate seems to want to get along with darius, yk, like she would want to do for others. she sort of wants to treat darius as an equal, even though she is a bit cautious of him, very understandably so. she doesn’t seem that afraid of approaching him as a whole, though she also expresses some dissatisfaction at him sort of treating her like a pet and whatnot. however, it feels like in the end, it’s always him who gets the last word. they also seem to be opposites in the sense that darius doesn’t believe in love, while kate believes no one can truly live without love, to which darius says to “prove” that love exists. so maybe there’s a bit of that opposites attract sorta vibe going on too?

basically, kate can either “prove” love to darius, or the “poison” darius imbues in her will act on her first. perhaps that’s a matter of time.
