South Korea's ruling party chief has called for President Yoon Suk Yeol to "suspend his duties soon", saying that citizens could be in "great danger" if he remained in power. Han Doong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party (PPP), added that his party had received "credible evidence" that Yoon had ordered the arrest of key politicians on "anti-state charges" when he declared martial law on Tuesday night. His comments, made at an emergency party meeting on Friday, are a departure from his earlier stand that his party would block the opposition's impeachment motion, which was tabled on Wednesday.The opposition needs at least eight ruling party MPs to back the impeachment motion for it to succeed. Yoon shocked the country on Tuesday night when he declared emergency martial law, citing threats from "anti-state forces" and North Korea.But it soon became clear that his move had been spurred not by external threats but by his own domestic political troubles.The order was abruptly reversed hours later after 190 MPs managed to make it into the parliament and vote it down - some of them climbing fences and breaking barricades to get into the chamber.Han on Friday expressed concerns that "extreme actions", such as the martial law declaration, could be repeated if Yoon remained in office. "[These are] putting the Republic of Korea and its people at great risk," he said.He added that his party had learnt about plans to jail arrested opposition politicians in a detention centre in Gwacheon, a city south of Seoul.His comments are the first clear indication that the president's own party may now vote with the opposition to help impeach him.Opposition lawmakers are concerned that there will be another attempt to impose martial law. Synopsis :

My thoughts on this drama :

This is a cute story about a woman who's both a divorcee and a single mother. In Europe, this is no big deal, but in Korea, getting a divorce and being single parent is a social disadvantage. This show was pretty realistic in that aspect. I liked the fact that the male lead is younger than the female lead, for once. Lee Jong Suk's acting is spotless, as usual. What I really like with this actor is how genuine he acts. You can read emotions in his eyes and here it in his voice. He ain't too bad to look at either. The secondary characters where all adorable as well. I liked the fact that there was no "villain", for a change. As a once avid reader, I also liked the fact that the drama revolved around books and publishing. It made me smile and I enjoyed the journey, but it will not hit my favorites. Still, I recommend!

Sinopsis Drama Korea Melting Me Softly

Melting Me Softly menceritakan kisah seorang produser film yang terkenal dengan julukan “spesimen jantan dari kejantanan”, yakni Ma Dong Chan (Ji Chang Wook) dengan seorang wanita yang terlibat hutang piutang, yakni Ko Mi Ran (Won Jin Ah) di salah satu proyek manusia beku selama 24 jam.

Dimana proyek tersebut memilih pria dan wanita secara acak. Dan karena Ko Mi Ran tergiur dengan penawaran yang ditawarkan pada proyek tersebut yakni sebanyak 5 juta won atau sekitar $ 4.200 USD, akhirnya Ko Mi Ran memaksakan diri untuk mengikuti proyek tersebut.

Namun, siapa sangka bahwa hal tersebut memberikan efek kepada keduanya. Alih-alih beku selama 24 jam, ternyata mereka tetap beku sampai dengan 20 tahun.

Synopsis :

So-joon foresees his future-self living miserably so he decides to marry Ma-rin in order to avoid that fate. As time passes, he learns to love her selflessly.

My thoughts on this drama :

This was epic. In every possible way. Both beautiful and complicated and thrilling and packed with emotions and there's no word to describe the awesomness… The chemistry between Min Ah and Je Hoon is up there in the stars, never seen anything like this, made me blush every episode! It was all so real looking despite the "fantasy" theme of the series. It felt like watching a real-life married couple life, I'm completely stunned. I knew Shin Min Ah was an excellent actress, and I'm deeply sad TVn doesn't have an award ceremony yet, because they deserve best couple award AND daesang for this incredible performance. It really is one of the dramas of the 2017, hands down; and 2017 just started too at the time!
