I was actually waiting to get the dvds only to be able to screenshot this specific moment from 10x18 when apparently no one noticed or gave a fuck about Alex's tramp stamp.

When I caught on it during the tv rerun (yes sir I noticed immediately, no sir, I watch for the plot, I wasn't looking at Steve's figure in appreciation, not at all, it's not this the reason why I glimpsed this 1/10 of second long moment at first watch, not at all) I yelped.

Because yes, that's Alex, but it's also Steve, you know? So it means that at some point between s9 and s10, Steve too did get a tramp stamp.

Tonight in Italy they'll air the final two episodes of H50 and I'm like....not ready, despite knowing exactly what I'm going to see. You know what the saddest thing is? I'm reading a s10 codas fic by flowerfan, and knowing that the show was ending, all people in the comments were hoping just for this (despite the somewhat awkward Steve's babbling about the sunset in 10x18): they they would keep Steve and Danny together, drinking beer in the sunset by the ocean, like they did at the end of the pilot. Nothing else. Together at peace. Nothing big or life changing. Nothing homo, even. Just....let them have peace, together.

I know you brilliantly explained and interpreted the (thankfully!) open ending we got, but honestly? We didn't even need an open ending, and we didn't need to see Steve taking that plane, if they really wanted him off in case of a s11 renewal which didn't happen. They wrote off Danny with zero explanation so many times, that Steve "waiting to take off on a plane for his soul-searching trip" would've been way better!

Hi there😃thank you so much for your message. I enjoyed reading your thoughts and I feel your heavy heart. I know the ending is not what the fandom wanted and it hurts. I also know that I’m one of the few who are okay with it and understands Steve’s intentions to leave. And I just look at the ending as a version of a fanfiction written by someone. I can’t change it but I feel you! And I’m thinking of you when you‘ll be watching the final episodes. It will hurt and cause anger and the never ending wish that it had happened differently. If you know the TV show Grimm you know that that pairing was canon and got the perfect ending, happy and marvelous, after six seasons. In my mind, the ending was McDanno. I always fix it to my liking. You hang in there, love.

Wonderful analysis, Babe, as always! I saw a snippet of this scene on one of Lenkov’s IG Stories a while ago and I instantly loved it, it has a special feeling to it. As brief as the moment is, but you’re right, this is fliriting, this is sharing memories, this is a joke between the two of them. And the way they’re looking at each other... so in love.

Steve: „I just need to...I just get to go home to grab my wallet. It’s at my house.“

Danny: „You‘ve been saying the same thing for about then years.“

Listen, that moment between Steve and Danny...that moment... they flirt and...it’s so heavy with emotions. Look at them, look at the way they gaze at each other, warmly, secretly bonding in front of everyone, sharing an intimate moment only Steve and Danny understand in its true meaning. That so deep and it’s Alex and Scott, too...as if they remember ten crazy years with one look! It’s as if time stops for a moment and stretches into infinity, arching over the last ten years because they’ve known maybe it’s going to end soon. I don’t know... but this moment has a pulse - a damn heartbeat.

Steve jokes as always about not having money, not ashamed to be chespskate while he looks at Danny teasingly, flirtingly and he knows how much Danny loves him. And Danny...God, Danny speaks with such a gentle voice, filled to the brim with devoted affection for his boy, and his look travels gently over Steve’s jaw line. The moment - it’s Danny Magic I haven’t seen him perform on Steve often. Oh man. It’s brief and over in a blink of an eye but it’s warm, solid and it speaks of deep love.

And, oh my heart, the song Donovan performs in the background, so clearly in focus at times with all the messages between the lines and the words, the words are killing me... „...the last star lingers in the pale blue sky. That’s when I know you’re around...when the light comes to the trees birds sing a song as if they’re singing to me. That’s when I know you’re around. Swing down on me...“ Do you sense that freaking deep meaning??? There are to versions to interpret off the text. I chose the one where Danny lies next to Steve, pressed into the curve of Steve’s warm front to wake up together just like every morning, wrapped up in Steve’s arms.
