Delirious x Smi77y 5, 10, q? If you still write bbs...
((I do!! :’( I took a lil break tho cause my brain was starting to fry while writing them!)
5. Waking up together.
10. Marriage Proposal
q. “Wakey wakey” “Fuck off”
Jaren mumbled something incoherent as the alarm next to him went off. It was loud, but it was important.
Regardless though, he was beyond annoyed and didn’t like the idea of it. He reached over, his fingers grazing over his phone before he picked it up and peaked open an eye. He glared lightly at the screen before giving up in a sigh and pressing the dismiss button.
His eyes closed for another moment before he turned his head and looked towards the body sleeping next to him. Suddenly, his morning was much better and he felt like it was worth planning it out this early.
Jon was a cute sleeper. He clung to whatever he could get his hands on, and, despite the fact the snoring was a bit annoying, he would drool and sometimes mumble short phrases. Jaren’s favorite is when he heard Jon ask where his teddy was and then clung to his arm. Jon as clinging to a pillow now, his face buryied into it and the blanket pulled over his shoulders. He looked cozy.
Jaren turned onto his side and reached his hand over, gently shaking his shoulder. “Jon,” he cooed, voice gentle and full of adoration.
Jon made a face and shook his head, hiding in the pillow. “Mhhgh,” he grumbled.
Jaren huffed out a laugh and shook him again. “C’mon,” he mumbled, scooting closer to kiss his head. “Wakey wakey,” he said.
“Fuck off,” Jon whined, batting a hand up to gently smack Jaren’s arm. “Slept- sleep... sleep isn’t done yet,” he stated, drifting back off.
“Come ooooonn,” Jaren whined back, “It’s important! I’ll make you breakfast if you get up,” he promised.
Jon took a moment, but soon his face was revealed and his eyes were squinted open in a tired glare. “Pancakes?” he asked, his voice soft and laced with defeat.
“Sure, I’ll even put chocolate chips in,” he agreed.
Jon nodded and sighed, closing his eyes as he sat up and yawned, stretching his arms above his head. “Okay, okay,” he nodded again, looking over towards Jaren. “What’s the big deal?” he asked, leaning forward and proping his elbow on his knee.
Jaren smiled brightly. “Well, do you know what today is?”
Jon opened his mouth and then closed it, squinting his eyes again.
Jaren snickered and shook his head. “No- don’t fry your brain. I knew you wouldn’t- I know you super well cause I’ve known you for four years now!” he beamed.
Jon nodded and then gasped. “That’s today?” he asked.
“Yep!” Jaren nodded. “It’s been four years since our friends set us up on that stupid blind date!”
Jon ran a hand through his hair and laughed lightly. “Man- I can’t believe that. Four?” he asked again, glancing over.
“Yep! Were eighteen and constantly complaining about being single,” he sighed happily at the memory, “Our friends set us up right before prom!”
Jon shook his head. “That was a terrible first date,” he cringed, “I still can’t believe I puked in your mom’s car.”
Jaren waved his hand in dismissal before he twisted around and reached into the drawer on his night stand. “Yeah- yeah. Anyways!” he grabbed something and twisted back, hiding the object behind his back in the process. “I knew I liked you from the minute I heard your stupid laugh. And I knew I loved you the minute you kissed me at prom and told me I was the prettiest boy you knew,” he snickered and then took one of Jon’s hands, tilting his head to the side.
“Jare...?” Jon trailed off, his smile growing but confusion was evident as he squeezed his hand gently.
Jaren leaned forward a bit. “I knew I wanted to be yours for the rest of my life on our first anniversary when you set off a bunch of illegal fireworks while we were camping, just to make it more memorable,” he trailed off, his eyes softly gazing into Jon’s with such a great sense of awe that Jon felt his heart skip a few beats.
Jon squeezed his hand again and glanced towards their fingers and then to the arm that was hiding the object. “Jaren... I-”
“Jon,” he interrupted him, his voice softer than it had been. “I know... I know I wouldn’t rather spend my life with anyone else. I know I’d love to be with you, and if you’ll have me,” he revealed the item, a small blue box, “I’d like to hold true to that.”
Jon’s breath hitched and he stared at the box, his eyes glazing over as tears built up and he quickly nodded, pulling Jaren closer with their intertwined hands and nodding into his shoulder. “Fucking- fuck- what the fuck, man! Of course!”
Jaren returned the hug, smiling in relief as tears built in his own eyes.
He was happy. So unbelievably happy.

3 AM
Note: Today’s warmup!! I’m on a roll today!! Ship: Smii7y/H2o Delirous Words: 1414 Warnings: Mentions of fighting and some injury descriptions (nothing graphic).
Jaren grumbled as he heard his phone going off, the annoying ringtone he had set for Jon playing. “Why’d I pick,” he tossed around to untangle himself from his blanket, “the fucking bassboosted fucking circus theme-” His voice rose as he nearly fell out of bed and he huffed.
He reached over for his phone and quickly swiped on the call, before putting it on speaker so he didn’t have to hold it. “It’s three in the morning,” he stated firstly, not letting Jon speak, “And, I was sleeping so you better have a really good reason to be waking me up Jon.” The anger was evident in his voice, but that spiraled down when he heard a sniffle from the other end. “S-sorry, I know it’s- I know it’s late but I just,” he heard a stifled sob and Jaren’s eyes widened as he sat up. “Jon? Hey, what’s wrong bud?” he asked, concern flushing out any previous irritation. “I-I…” Jon fell silent, and Jaren could hear shuffling on the other end, a muffled voice and a door shutting. “I got- I got kicked out,” he admitted.
Jon had been living with a roommate- Jaren didn’t know their name due to Jon not wanting the guys to know too much about him. Clearly he wasn’t a great guy if he kicked Jon out in tears. “Why’d he kick you out?” Jaren asked. “I don’t know. He-he just- he just woke me up and started yelling at me and then he pushed me out- out the door!” Jon explained. “Do you have anywhere to go?” Jaren was more concerned on that portion. Luke and Ryan and moved a few towns away, but the rest of the guys would jump at being able to support any of the others who were in need of support, including Jon. “N-no,” he admitted, “The other’s wouldn’t-wouldn’t pick up.” He paused and then continued; “Evan did… but he- he’s at work… and I’m not- not supposed to break in through his window after- after last time.”
“Oh man,” Jaren mumbled, shuffling to stand, “You can come over here if you need to, Jon.” Jon didn’t reply for a minute. “Really?” he asked, a hope in his voice. “Yeah, man. You got any money on you anyways? I doubt you left with some,” he glanced around his room as he spoke, looking for a pair of pants. “I- I don’t have much, you’re right,” he mumbled, “only enough to pay a driver.”
“See? So just come over to my place,” Jaren offered. “O-okay. Gimme a sec,” he mumbled. Then, the muffled voices were back. “I’ll be there in a few,” he spoke quietly. “Great,” Jaren smiled, “See you then?”
Jon didn’t reply right away again, worrying Jaren. “Y-yeah. See you then.”
When the call ended, Jaren threw on a pair of pajama bottoms and then headed out of his room. Man, this sorta sucked. He ran a hand through his hair and headed into the kitchen, he grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and took a drink. Maybe this is why Jon didn’t tell them much about the guy- he didn’t want a ton of guys going after him with murder in the brain.
But, that was odd in itself. Jon doesn’t really take shit from anyone- in fact, if anyone was more likely to kill in their group it’d be him. He pondered on that for a minute. Jaren just couldn’t imagine Jon getting kicked out willingly, and he’s hard to fight. If, watching him get into little brawls throughout high school was proof of that.
A knock sounded at his door and he shook his head clean of thoughts as he walked over. When he opened the door, he was immediately pulled into a hug and asked; “Bandaids?” Bandaids? The question didn’t register until he told Jon they were in the cabinet above the oven.
But, the minute Jon had gotten past him, he seemed to realize. “Wait- hold up,” he called, turning on his heels and shutting the door before he followed after him. “What do ya need bandaids for?” he grabbed Jon’s shoulder, and felt him tense under his grip.
When he got Jon to turn around he felt his blood freeze before growing heated as he found his anger fueling him. “What… happened?”
Jon had clearly gotten into a fight. It was obvious from his swelling eye to the busted lip and cut on his cheek. Dried blood trailed from his nose and such. The crying was clear too, thanks to the red in his eyes, the tear marks on his face, and the fact he was still sniffling. He was a mess. “Man,” he breathed and led Jon towards the counter. “Sit.”
He hopped onto the counter and Jaren grabbed a hand towel from one of his drawers. “Did he fuck you up too?” he asked, annoyance itching in his tone. He was so telling Tyler. “Yeah,” Jon answered, his voice mumbled, “I- I just- I mean, he started yelling. I couldn’t- I couldn’t just not,y’know.” He gestured, and he really didn’t make much sense but Jaren understood. He wet the towel with some warm water. “You know, that’s a key detail you coulda told me when we were talking,” he stated. “Sorry,” Jon replied. “You don’t have to apologize,” Jaren told him as he ringed the towel and then moved in front of him. “Lean down,” he stated. Jon listened and leaned down, letting Jaren wipe his face clean.
“I don’t think I’ve seen you this beaten up since senior year,” Jaren commented, taking his time and carefully getting the blood off his face, trying to avoid hurting him. Jon didn’t mind the little stings, he was used to it. Though, the gentle touching was a nice contrast from the earlier events of the night. “I-I haven’t fought much since- since senior year,” he shrugged. “I-I think I got into- into a… a drunk fight with Tyler- uhm,” he furrowed his brows, “A year after graduation.” Jaren nodded a bit, and smiled. “I remember that,” he chuckled, “It was more just you two slapping each other, nothing bad.”
Jon kept his eyes on Jaren, sort of eyeing over the mess of fluffy white hair to the careful mismatched eyes that focused on what he was doing. “Your face is pretty,” Jon complimented, though he didn’t seem to realize he said it out loud. Jaren choked on his breath, and he felt his face heat up a bit. “W-what?” he asked, looking at Jon in surprise. Jon blinked and then turned a little red. “No-nothin!” he exclaimed, “S-sorry- you just- you looked so focused and- and- you look pretty,” he admitted, and he looked away. “I- I just, I was speakin my mind.”
Jaren swallowed and nodded, quickly moving back, and placing the hand towel down before opening the cabinet above the stove, pulling the bandaids out. “Sorry if I- sorry if I made this awkward,” he mumbled and Jaren shook his head. “It’s fine, just…” he smiled, “You’re pretty too.” Jon squeaked, Jaren laughed and took a few bandaids out. He began to patch up Jon’s face and then helped him off the counter. “You’re all fixed up,” he stated, proudly, “Thanks to my handiwork of course!”
Jon laughed softly at that. “Uh huh, thanks,” he patted his shoulder and walked passed him, towards the living room. Jon had all of their houses mapped out. He yawned and sat on the couch, patting the space by him. Jaren followed and sat down, letting Jon lay against him. “I’m kicking your roommates ass,” he promised, wrapping an arm around him. “Got it covered,” Jon spoke back, “I already got Evan on his ass.”
Jaren winced. “Right, you talked to him. But… did you tell Evan…?” Jon snickered. “Oh yeah,” he answered, “Evan knows- Evan knows every little bit.” Oh that guy was going to die. “I gave him the address and all, pretty sure he was gonna pick up Tyler and Brian on his way over,” he laughed, a little more lively. “Man, he’s not just gonna die, he’s going straight to his own personal hell,” Jaren mumbled. “No- I woulda got- got Luke for that. This guy is one person off from that,” he replied. “You saying Evan didn’t tell Luke?” he inquired.
Jon fell quiet and a smile pulled at his lips. “Oh he is so fucked.” They both laughed.

So I read some of your H2OMilk stories and now I’m intrigued XD Could I request a 12 nn of them two? Maybe to convince noble not to ship Del and Ev? Though the story is yours, so you could also do your own plot, I’d still read it lol
((Bud, guy, you can ALWAYS request h2omilk. Also, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE IDEA!!!))
12. fake dating
nn. “You are never doing that again.”
The guys made it a thing to attempt to make it to dinner as an entire group once a year, just to chat and make sure things were going well for each one’s individual lives and career, and to help them all reconnect if needed.
Jon was especially happy to be able to see everyone and annoy his usual few in person. Evan and him were, of course, partners in crime for the night and sat together in a way of wanting to terrorize the group, but instead they were met by David who smiled at them in a way that they both had already put an end to interacting for the night.
Jon uncomfortably gazed away from the conversation at the table and down to his phone, fiddling with the device as a distraction to attempt and block out David’s voice.
Evan seemed okay with it, at least enough to joke around, but Jon was just tired of the whole “you two are totally dating” accusations. The annoying view David kept on their friendship was making Jon ready to snap. He hardly even minded it at first- Evan was good looking and he felt flattered to be thought of being with him! But, what wasn’t true wasn’t true.
Maybe he’d also be fine with it if it wasn’t such an overused subject of conversation. Jon was just tired of it, he wanted the view off of him and Evan.
He nearly dropped his phone when the screen turned on as a message popped up, his hands flinching but he managed to keep a grip on it.
Reading the name, his eyes immediately went up and gazed to the person by him, Jaren.
Jaren was in a conversation with John, so of course he was confused how he sent the message without being rude- though maybe he had been rude and decided to text while talking.
Jon finally read the message, brows furrowing at the question.
‘You need help?’
Of course, he had no clue what kind of help Jaren could offer- the male wasn’t someone Jon though was particularly good at thinking on the spot- but he could be wrong. Jaren was known to be terrifyingly good at guessing-predicting?- things.
‘what do ou mean?’
He glanced up when he heard David laugh, joined by Evan’s awkward chuckle. Then, he saw a new message popped up so his attention was once again on his phone.
‘w/ david. I can help you stop him.’
Jon’s eyes widened partially before he quickly typed back.
‘if you got something, do it.’
Jon then placed his phone back into his pocket before facing up. His eyes were on David, who wasn’t really going off on bad relationship jokes anymore, but more just normal conversation with the guys. That was good, so maybe he wouldn’t need help after all!
But, he felt an arm wrap around his shoulders, making him tense until he felt Jaren lean in close and whisper; “Play along.”
He couldn’t speak before Jaren then pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek, gaining eyes from David- though everyone else seemed less than surprised- or they were faking it?
Jon didn’t know, but he felt his face heat up with the action and his body try to react but it was just frozen.
“Oh?” he heard David say, louder than he probably meant because he covered his mouth momentarily before gesturing. “Ye two got somethin’ goin on?” he asked.
Jaren chuckled, pulling Jon a bit closer. “Oh? You didn’t know?” he asked. “Jon and I started dating a bit ago.”
“Wha-” David was clearly surprised, the gears nearly visible as they moved in his head.
Jon was in a similar state as he mumbled out a small “huh”, but Jaren simply tapped his shoulder.
Then, he grinned. “Oh yeah. Y’know, he was the one who confessed an everything- it was really sweet,” he laughed.
Jon was having trouble keeping up, but he mindlessly nodded. “Y-yeah,” he agreed, “Uhm... I just r-really spilled my guts to him.”
Jaren laughed softly and sighed. “It’s almost been a month,” he spoke fondly, “Wanna hear about our first date?”
David seemed very intrigued, and Jaren was unbelievably convincing with his whole story. By the time they were all heading out to leave, David seemed convinced.
Jon stayed behind with Jaren for a bit, just to add to the lie, but also so Jon could confront him.
“So, sweety, what’d ya think? I got David off your back about you and Ev,” Jaren stated, proud and obviously unknowing of Jon’s blatant confusion.
“I don’t know what you did,” Jon mumbled, “But you are never doing that again! I’ll take David’s stupid theories about me and Ev over faking it any day.” He huffed a little and poked Jaren.
Jaren hummed a bit before grinning and leaning forward, pressing a kiss to Jon’s cheek like he did earlier. “Really? That’s a shame- I was liking the sound of you taking me out on a date,” he shrugged a little and turned. “But- I guess if you don’t want to fake it with me, you don’t have to.”
Jon stared, bewildered as Jaren headed out. His face turned a birght red and he touched his cheek.
Maybe faking it wouldn’t be that bad.

yoyoyoyo!!!! You should rate H2OMILK!! I miss you talking about it :((( Same with H2Omoo :)
(Man, am I really becoming that distant? I’ll start texting you more so you don’t gotta miss my rambles, haha! But, yeah, I’ll rate them too!)
H2oMilk:
10/10. Listen. Del and Smit? Chaotic bastards? Yes. Idk why, I just really like writing for it even though I don’t post about it a lot.
Prompts; “Person A get’s closer to Person B’s brother so they can get closer to them, but B misreads the situation and tries to set A and the brother up.” or, “I’m really into haunted houses, but I hate going through them alone- but you’re also alone, so can we go together?”
HCs;
Del enjoys scaring Smit a lot. Just for reactions, really, but he also thinks Smit’s cute when he flusters up afterwords.
In return, Smit loves to mess with Del in the littlest ways because the little things bother Del more than the bigger ones (ie. missplacing his phone, hiding the remote, moving things to the wrong drawers, separating shoes).
Del’s not exactly organized, but he does keep some things in check and gets annoyed when they’re not where they should be.
(my personal favorite) they’re nerds for dramas. It’s like Del’s guilty pleasure and Smit’s favorite genre.
Del likes it when its horror specific, yeah, but he does love just,, dramatic movies. They also like to sit and watch TV shows in the genre.
That’s how Smit got Del to watch Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (would recommend btw).
Del wasn’t into it at first, but now he watches it and pokes a little fun at some of the songs they use, but he likes it.
They both just generally have a fun time together!
H2oMoo:
Brock (an angel), and Del (a chaotic clown)?? I can get behind that 100%. 9/10 only because, as much as I love them, I can never find a good idea to write them too. Which, leads us to the next thing.
Prompts; “I know I’m annoying you, but it’s only so you pay attention to me instead of the others” or, “My friend set me up on a blind date and you were the last person I expected.” (I had to search the internet far and wide to come up with these,,)
HCs;
Del is a spacious man, he likes his privacy.
Brock is a good guy who understands space, so Del really enjoys Brock.
Of course, Del’s mood does shift from “don’t touch” to “I need a hug” real fast.
Due to the privacy thing, they have a lot of stay at home dates. Brock doesn’t mind because he also enjoys not having to go out and about all the time for it to be a date.
Brock is the one who knows how to cook, but Jon has a secret knack for baking.
Like, it’s really secret. When the guys come over, if there are cookies out, Brock takes credit for them in Del’s place.
When Brock asked about why he wanted it to be secret, Del simply answered; “Im a man of mystery. If they know I can bake, then they know everything.”
Brock still doesn’t understand.
Evan was the only reason they got together because he was the only person who knew they liked each other.
He heard a lot of “But he’s a nice guy” and “I think I’m too annoying for him”.
It was like dealing with lovestruck teenagers.
But, Brock and Del are happy they ranted to him because now they’re happily together!

h2omilk person here (i tlked abt them @ evans house)! i don't know if u remember me, but I have more for you! jaren and jon are both good at being erratic! so, when they decide to go on their first date its completely unannounced but that's how they like it. everything that happens is random and fun and that's exactly what they like about each other!
Oooohhhh my god!! I remember you!! You had me laughing at the idea of smii7y just casually walking into Evan’s house! You’ve once again blessed me Anon!
Jon and Jaren would both totally act like that! It’s probably likely that one would just show up out of nowhere and be like; “Come on- its date night.” Just fucking random.
Then its just a night of them pulling each other around from place to place, doing different things and laughing because they love the unexpectedness! Jon would probably choose more quiet places to go to while Jaren would be all for more exciting areas. It’d be a nice and fun balance!
