I don’t know anything about movies so do it. :-D answer as many as you can from 1-60
Oh my gooooodddddd. Soph this will be my death. Okay, okay, I got this.
1. A movie you’ve seen most times in the cinema.
I’ve never seen a movie more than once in theater, but I kind of wish that I would’ve gone to see Gifted more than once bc crying in the theater is an e x p e r i e n c e.
2. Your most rewatched movie.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3. A movie you quote on a daily basis.
I just quoted Mean Girls earlier today.
4. Favorite movie soundtrack.
The Greatest Showman.
5. Top 5 films of your favorite actor and actress.
I’ll choose Sebastian Stan for this (even tho Richard Armitage is my favorite):
-the Bronze
-I, Tonya
-the Martian
-the Captain America trilogy
-Gone
Meg Ryan:
-Fan Girl
-Anastasia
-Sleepless in Seattle
-You’ve Got Mail
-City of Angels
6. Top 5 performances of your favorite actor and actress.
Seb’s are the same except replace Gone with Political Animals, his performance as TJ is iconic and I’m so sad they ended that show. Meg’s are the same too.
7. A movie storyline you wished you had actually lived.
I’ve always dreamt of being apart of the Fast & Furious movies soooo
8. A movie that reminds you of your mom.
Any of the Star Wars.
9. A movie thar reminds you of your dad.
Grease.
10. Favorite movies from your childhood.
My parents didn’t care what I really watched as a kid so a lot of my favorites consist of actual kids movies and horror movies. Disney movies like Robin Hood (I loved both Disney’s version and Prince of Thieves), Mulan, Cinderella, Aladdin, Lion King 2. And then other movies like Underworld, Van Helsing, Halloween, and Resident Evil. I had a strange obsession with the third Resident Evil.
11. Favorite quote(s).
I can’t remember the exact line, but “that kid from Brooklyn who didn’t know how to walk away from a fight, I’m following him,” which Bucky says to Steve in the first Cap film. And obv any Mean Girls quote.
12. Top 5 female performances.
-Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter-Emilia Clarke in Me Before You-Helen Mirren in Winchester-Michelle Pfeiffer in Grease 2-Michelle Pfeiffer in Stardust
13. Top 5 male performances.
-Martin Freeman as Everett Ross-Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange-Sebastian Stan in the Bronze-Leonardo DiCaprio in the Departed-Jack Nicholson in the Departed
14. Favorite year for movies.
I don’t think I have a specific year? Although 2018 has been a fantastic year for movies so far. I do have a preference for movies from 90s and early 2000s.
18. An underrated actor.
A year ago I would’ve said Sebastian Stan, but he’s recently been doing a lot of big things and has like four movies he’s doing that he plays a main character in. Now I’ll shoot for Blair Redford.
19. An underrated actress.
Emilia Clarke. People need to appreciate her more.
20. An underrated director.
Taika Waititi.
21. An overrated actor.
I’ve never cared for George Clooney tbh.
22. An overrated actress.
I love her, but Scarlett Johansson.
23. An overrated director.
Woody Allen. Not even sorry.
24. A film you wish you had seen on the big screen.
Every MCU movie besides Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther. I watched Black Panther with my sister and saw Guardians at a drive-in. I had to wait to see all the others :(
25. A movie you’ve seen that you think no one else here will have heard of?
Like Sunday, Like Rain. Please watch it. It’s absolutely amazing.
26. Favorite movie characters.
Oh my gosh. Okay. Doctor Strange. Bucky Barnes. Thorin Oakenshield. Lance Tucker. Everett Ross. Jason Bourne. Owen and Deckard Shaw. There’s more, but that’s who I can think of rn.
27. A film that was better than the book.
I personally prefer the Hobbit movies over the book, but the book is great too.
28. Best Remake.
The Goodbye Girl!
29. Your first favorite actor.
I wanna say it’s Josh Hartnett? Maybe Paul Rudd?? I loved the Halloween movies as a kid and Josh was in H2O while Paul was in the Curse of Michael Myers and I loved them both. As a kid I didn’t really care much about the actors, but I’ve realized a lot of people I liked in movies as a kid are now some of my favorites.
30. Your first favorite actress.
Like I said, loved the Halloween movies. Jamie Lee Curtis. Also Milla Jovavich.
31. Favorite animated film.
I will always, with my entire heart, love Lion King 2. I still have the VHS tape.
32. Your most anticipated films.
Ocean’s 8. Robin Hood. Solo. Ant-Man and the Wasp. Incredibles 2. I wasn’t that into Venom, but after seeing the trailer, I’m pumped.
33. Last movie that disappointed you.
The Apparition was made a while back, but i didn’t watch it til recent and I really didn’t like it whatsoever.
34. Last movie that surpassed your expectations.
Like the Apparition, Dance of the Dead was made a while ago, but I watched it about two months back and oh. My. God. It was glorious. Watch it. It’ll be worth it.
37. Share an unpopular film opinion you have.
I love romance and I don’t mind seeing it in movies that don’t necessarily need it. I mean, of course I draw the line somewhere, but for example, Kili and Tauriel’s romance in the films? I know it wasn’t in the book, and a lot of people didn’t like it, but I loved it.
38. Favorite Oscar win/speech.
This is a tie between two speeches that happened right after one another at the 2017 Oscars. Gael García Bernal’s speech before presenting an award, and the Zootopia directors’ speech when they came up to accept that award. It’s truly a wonderful thing and I remember watching it and being so grateful for people like them.
39. Biggest Oscar snub(s).
Literally. Every. Time. Leonardo. DiCaprio. Lost.
40. Who do you think is overdue for another Oscar nomination/win?
Tom Hanks.
41. How many movies have you seen (rough estimation)?
Close to 1,000, I’d think.
42. A movie that made you go ‘wtf was that’.
The Apparition and The Shape of Water. At least The Shape of Water was actually good 👀👀
43. A film that scarred you.
Oh my god, I don’t know the name, but it was something that was on tv at like 2 am when I slept in the living room one time as a kid and it terrified me. It was something about werewolves and made me question my love of werewolves for days.
44. Most movies watched in a single day.
I once watched 7 of the Fast & Furious movies in one day.
45. A film that always makes you cry.
Gifted. I cried three times when I saw it in theaters and I cry every time I rewatch it.
46. A film that always makes you laugh.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
47. Movies that you think everyone should watch (not necessarily your favorites).
The Jason Bourne series. 10 Things I Hate About You. Blended. Back to School.
48. A movie that took you a couple viewings to appreciate.
Princess & the Frog. Now it’s one of my favorite Disney movies.
49. A book that you want to see adapted to the big screen.
Either I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson or Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco.
50. A book you really, really, really don’t want to see made into a film.
I love the third Percy Jackson book so so much, and I’d kill to see that scene where they’re all on Apollo’s sun chariot on the big screen, but if it turned out like the other two Percy Jackson movies I don’t think I’d ever forgive myself.
54. Favorite coming-of-age film.
Like Sunday, Like Rain.
55. Favorite superhero film.
The first Captain America just bc it’s nostalgic for both me and those characters, and Doctor Strange. I love the Winter Soldier too so I might as well include it.
57. Movies you know you should watch, but can’t bring yourself to do it?
Thor: Ragnarok. That’s the only one I’m absolutely sure that I need to watch.
58. Favorite genres.
I’m a big rom-com and action geek tbh.
59. Least favorite genres.
Not a huge fan of paranormal type horrors, but once in a while I’ll find one I like (like Winchester).
60. Biggest movie pet peeve.
I’m not too picky, I guess? I just don’t like when they don’t give enough details so the story doesn’t make sense or they mess up and the facts don’t match up.
Yep. It’s official. Sophia, I’m dead.

Hi dearest Lauren! 💖
I sent an ask over the weekend but maybe tumblr ate it 🙃😅 if you didn’t get it, please let me know and I’ll do my best to recreate it haha.
In the meantime, how are you?? How was your weekend? Have you watched anything fun lately?
Do you have any favorite poems/quotes/song lyrics? And finally, what’s your favorite color??
Hope your week is off to a great start!! Xoxo 💖 Drew
Darling Drew!
The ADD is strong with this one, so I did in fact receive your lovely ask. I just... well quite honestly remembered I hadn't replied this morning. I believe I received it right before an appointment and I said "Oh, I'll get that once I get home!" and then the rest is history. However, I did manage to clean my side of the room.
I'm also obligated to mention the impressive (to me) alliteration in my salutation. Alliteration pleases me. You sure I'm not too weird yet? If I haven't scared you off by the end of this I will be thoroughly impressed.
However, let's celebrate that second dose of vax! In two weeks, you'll be a fully functioning human again! Hooray! My daughter currently has my phone, so I'm on desktop and I don't have access to emojis. You'll have to use your imagination for what celebratory emojis I'd use in this case.
Thank you for telling me your pronouns. I was telling my husband about my new friend and I was suddenly shocked to realize that I didn't know them. I'm trying to be better about that sort of stuff. I want to be respectful to the people around me as well as normalize asking it. Especially for smalls. I want her to grow up with fewer biases than I did. Its important if the world is going to change.
Many of my favorite poems are structured. I love sonnets. They're incredibly difficult to pace correctly. For a creative writing class in high school, we had to write one. I wrote more than one. They're not very good and I realized how difficult they were to write. I underestimated them because I've always read them easily. It is not the same thing. At all.
So, when it comes to giving you favorite poem or quotes or lyrics, I really can't chose. There are so many we'd be here a long time if I tried. However, its macabre, but I came across this poem in one of my books that I told my husband he had to read at my funeral with a straight face. My humor can be pretty dark sometimes. Its about the death of a cat. I tell him a lot that I'm pretty sure I'm part cat, personality wise.
I don't use the term dark humor lightly. I find that many people who say that their humor is dark are just masking the fact that they're actually assholes. Although I can be a massive asshole, I try hard not to mock anyone. Pardon my language.
As for business, I absolutely enjoyed a portion of business classes. I hate economics. Maybe its actually capitalism that I detest, but either way, when it came down to the economic portion of business I was out. There just isn't enough dopamine to keep me engaged in it. So, though I enjoyed those few classes, I couldn't actually make a degree out of it. If I ever found myself as a business owner, I'd have to have someone else take care of that side of things.
I hope that those credits are transferable. One, because my husband's Bachelors was from the Art Institute. If he ever decided to go back to school and finish a masters or get something else, I wouldn't want him to have to start from scratch. Secondly, if I wanted to finish that degree or even transfer some of the general credits someday I'd like to. However, it doesn't look good. I can't even get my financial records.
I played Gardenscapes for a little while. I had to uninstall it. I haven't' played it in a long while. Right now, on my phone there are a few games I play. I love this hidden object game. I can spend a lot of time there. I don't like spending money on these games, so I bounce around a lot.
Right now, I'm the bridesmaid for my sister's wedding next year and the MOH for my best friend's TBD wedding. So as for a vow renewal for myself, my brain short circuits thinking about it. I'd love to have a full on wedding dress again though. This time I'd like to find the one that makes me cry with joy. I love lacy dresses. And ones with more classic cuts. Ideally, I'd love to have a big reception and roses and cake. I never had a registry. It would be fun to get gifts. I would love to have it someplace with a garden. I like gardens. Our original date was supposed to be May 1st. I wanted a May day celebration. However, that's no longer an option. We'd probably just choose sometime around our anniversary now. It would be hard to have a ceremony on Valentines day.
My favorite place in my house changes with my mood. I love my computer and desk, but it gets incredibly hot. Our office/studio is great when its not messy and crowded. A lot of my books are in there too. And the pool is a favorite feature of mine because I like to swim. But, there is a chair that I've had for about ten years now that my perfect spot. Its tiny so I'm not engulfed in it. Its a lazy boy, so its super comfortable even though the fabric is warn. Its this beautiful blue color. I placed it next to my bedroom window. We have a TV there now too, so I spend most of my time in that little rocking chair. It'll be a sad day when I have to get rid of it. My mom had gotten it second hand. One night, while I was having a bout of insomnia, I pulled it into my room. It stayed with me ever since and when I moved out, I took it with.
I have three favorite colors. Blue, Pink, and Yellow. Sunflowers are so bright and happy. I associate yellow with Sunflowers and roses. Yellow roses are my favorite type or roses. Especially when they have pink tips. Blue can be such a vast color. It can be so dark and so bright. And Pink is such a vivid color. I love color so much. If an advertisement uses really bright and pleasing colors, I'm generally hooked.
This weekend I started rewatching H2O: Just add water. I love that show. Its pretty engaging and yet I love how campy it is. They use the same stock footage and same three songs. Its an excellent example of how media can be both great and terrible at the same time. Its cheesy but fun. I needed something I could watch without worrying about the kid walking in and seeing something inappropriate for her age. Its also something I can get up and walk away from, come back, and not be lost. I'm waiting on the hubs to get caught up on some other things. We still need to finish Falcon and the Winter Solider. I'm looking forward to watching Loki. I also have a lot of The Curse of Oak Island episodes recorded that I need to catch up on. However, the kid has the TV during the day and by night time I'm too wiped to do much of anything. She's been going to bed around ten pm lately. I can't seem to break her of that one yet. Its driving me a little insane.
My best friend stopped by this weekend. We're both fully vaccinated so we're excited to get to see each other again. We let our kids play together for a bit. So my weekend was loud, but in a good way. Kids can really make a lot of noise. I'm glad I only have one. It was good listening to the cacophony of squeals and laughs though. It made the kid happy, so it also made me happy. She doesn't get much interaction with other kids since this damn pandemic. It was nice getting to watch her just be a kid.
What are you up to this week? Did you get that chill walk you mentioned? I'm hoping your insurance sorts itself out and quickly! I hope you find something off Lorde's album you enjoy! I find that sometimes it can be really disappointing to be looking forward to hearing new music to only find that you don't like it. That feeling can be unsettling to me. Solar Power was definitely a departure from her typical sound. I was expecting something with more loudness. Instead it was surprisingly quiet. Interesting choice for a lead single.
Well, since it would be weird to end this reply to a complete stranger with "Good night, I'll most likely kill you in the morning" I'll end it with another great quote from the Princess Bride:
Anybody want a peanut?

An incomplete list of the tv shows I used to watch as a kid (6 to 12 y/o)
Only tv shows with real humans and not cartoons/anime  or it would be too long.
Maybe I’ll do one of the cartoons that I used to watch too later on.
Gilmore Girls: I used to watch this one with my sisters when I was little so I don’t actually remember much, but we used to love it and we never missed an episode. I don’t know if I would like it or not now that I’m older but 7 years old me loved it.
Charmed: This is another one that I used to watch when I was a kid but, unlike Gilmore Girls, I actually do want to try rewatch this one, I remember loving this one and me and my sisters used to pretend to witches.
H2O, just add water: This brings back so much memories. If you used to watch this one than you probably pretended to be a mermaid every time you went to the beach. Rikki was my absolute favourite and I used to ship her with the one that became her boyfriend but the, when the new hot blond guy arrived I started to ship her with him because he was a fine piece of a man and even  9 years old me knew that.
The sleepover club: Another classic. Tell me you didn’t want to have a close group of friends like they did. I don’t remember who was my favourite in series one but in series 2 it was Maddy.
Blue Water High: Another absolute fave of my childhood, because of this one when I was a kid I decided that I wanted to become a surfer, to this day I haven’t surfed once, but kid me knew I could make it. In series one my favourites were Bec and Edge and to this I’m so happy that they got together and that Edge won. In series two my favourite was Amy Reed. Series 3 didn’t hire during the time that I could watch tv apparently or it was just on a different channel and I didn’t know, however I never had the chance to watch it.
Wicked science: I always forget the name of this show and I always have to type in the google search bar “Tv show where girl and boy became super smart”. This show was such a trip and I never knew when it aired so sometimes I would turn on the tv and bam, there it was and I could watch it. It was weird but super fun, I LOVED it.
7th Heaven: Me my sisters used to LOVE this show we even had a sticker album of it. I personally don’t remember who was my favourite character because I was really really young when we watched this. Maybe I could try and rewatch this because I’m really curious, I don’t remember much of it.
Malcolm in the middle: I remember even less of this on except for the fact that 1) it was funny and 2) I used to call him Malcom.
Un paso adelante (One Step Forward): was another one that we had a sticker album of, I loved this show so much, it was dramatic as hell but also so much fun and there was a lot of beautiful dancing. This (like 7th heaven and charmed) is another one that I used to watch when I was really really young, younger than 10, so I don’t remember much but the feeling connected to it. (I don’t I would really enjoy it now tho)
The OC: This one was really dramatic tv show as well and spoilers but when Marissa died I was absolutely gobsmacked, like what the hell? What the actual hell? How???
Gossip Girl: My parents didn’t want me to watch this one because it had to much mature contented but I watched it anyone. I only have 3 thing to say: 1) Serena and Nate should have ended together, they were my favourite couple and I’m still mad about it 2) Everyone should have just told Dan to fuck off, he always acted as if he was superior to them and then he turned out to be worst snake of all time, the one that was ruining their lives the whole time. I never liked him but god he got worse. 3) I don’t remember much of Chuck so maybe he really did redeem himself and became a good person instead of only being decent to the people that he likes, but literally in the first episode he tried to rape two people so???? Get fucked rich boy.(I also still have a crush on Chace Crawford he has always been a beutiful boy)
Dawson Creek: I remember absolutely NOTHING of this tv show but the fact that we used to watch this saturday morning and that there was always this long ass mattress ad after it.
Wildfire: I used to love this one and I’m still mad because I had to go to a church thing and because of that I never got to watch the last episode of this one. I’m still so mad, I start to fume every time I think about this. That day is the day I lost my faith in god (kidding but you couldn’t blame if that was the actual reason why I’m not a religion person).
One tree hill: Nathan was my main bitch and I loved him. That’s it. That’s what I remember about the show other than some plot points.
Veronica Mars: My sister Veronica used to watch this show and sometimes I just happened to watch some episodes with her if I was around, and that's why when The Good Place came out I was like “Wait I know her!!!” I’m think about “rewatching” this one too, because it sounds really cool and I never ACTUALLY watched it.
Smallville: This one is another that I just happened to watch if it was on tv when I was watching it, all I remember is that he and Lana were really hot (or, as young me would have seen it, I wanted to be her and I wanted him as my boyfriend, now I either want to be her, want be with her or want to be with him.
Hannah Montana: Of course there also were  the disney classics. I really loved hannah montana and I used to love Lilly *hemgayhem* however I always hated Miley’s over the top acting since I was a kid.
The Wizards of Waverly Place: This one wasn’t on tv as much as Hannah Montana was but I cherished the rare times when it was because I loved it and I loved the acting more.
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: We loved this masterpiece. It was probably one of the funniest actually for kids tv shows that me and my sister used to watch.
Lizzie McGuire: My and my sister loved this one (+ the movie) and Hilary Duff even became my sister favourite singer (which then turned in Miley Cyrus, when we were kids of course, not now). And let’s not talk about their group phone calls. A classic. The envy of all.
Phil of the future: This one wasn’t as popular as Wizards, Zack and Cody or Hannah Montana but I LOVED it! It was so fun and different. Also, I thought Phil was cute.
Zoey 101: Who didn’t want to go to the same school as this girl, come on! That school was just the best school ever and I’m still jealous that I couldn’t go there. I was never a big fan of Chase tho.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: I loved this one, we have sooooo many magazines of this show it was so much fun and I loved the protagonist.
The Naked Brothers band: I’m absolutely shocked! I just found out that the two brothers in this show are Nat and Alex Wolff. What the hell. I’m literally speechless. Also, young Nat Wolff looks like my sister when she was that age. A lot.
The Elephant Princess: I accidentally found this one again when I was looking H2O just add water up and oh my I only watched one or two episode of this but the special effects were awful, terrible, horrible.
Jonas: I was never actually a fan of the Jonas Brothers’ music, I think that at the time I hadn’t even listen to anything of theirs (still haven’t) but I used to love this show and I personally always thought that Joe was the ugliest, Nick the cutest, and Kevin took the second place.
What I Like About You: Another one that I don’t remember much about but that I remember watching and I can clearly remember the opening theme.
If you want to add other feel free to do so and I’ll se if I used to watch them or not.
