Ben walked casually along the rocks beside the beach, he paused admiring its beauty and the sunset even though he was supposed to be helping with his project. He stood there, breathing in the fresh air as the beautiful full moon rose gracefully into the sky, as the birds squawked the arrival of dusk. He had a heavy duty flashlight in his hands, ready for when it would be dark. he resumed walking momentarily, but he soon stopped again, hearing someone shouting her name. His Science partner, Dean called to him as he emerged from the forest. Ben sighed as he went back to camp with his science partner.

Just as he made it to the boat he opened his mouth to begin speaking but his teacher cut him off " I know you two cannot have more time and no I cannot help you" the older man said looking at the boy. Ben gasped at him not believe in a man thought so little of him " I actually wanted to ask you something or tell you maybe" Ben said playing with his hair not sure how to bring up his situation.

Dean got changed in response to this as he followed Ben outside as he got ready to go find their teacher to see if the man could help them. He up to the other boy before looking around a bit seeing how nice and sunny it was outside.

After Ben was finished he ran out the house heading towards the docks where he knew his teacher would be " Dean come on he's about to leave" he yelled heading towards his teachers boat,The man turned his head wondering why Ben was coming to his boat.

Dean got changed in response to this as he followed Ben outside as he got ready to go find their teacher to see if the man could help them. He up to the other boy before looking around a bit seeing how nice and sunny it was outside.

" he lives next door technically" he said showing a picture of the house he lives in with his parents " he lives next door to that house me and my are childhood friends they built this place together" he said going inside the main bedroom pulling out a picture of a Teenage version of their teacher and his father then heading to the living room again showing Dean.

Dean looked confused by this “w-wait in his h-house?” he asked the other wondering what he was talking about. He wondered if Ben had been into their teacher’s bungalow before or something.

The teacher got closer to the where the sobs came from and found his student looking at him " can you come from under there" the teacher asked pushing his glasses back in place " then I know you're tired of going through this but soon this will be a memory of the past when you get older" the man said trying to comfort the younger male knowing that wasn't the only reason he was upset

   Dean flinched a bit in response as he looked down at the table not saying a word. He kept his hands folded in his lap not looking at anyone clenching his teeth as he tried to hold back tears. A bunch of thoughts swirled in his head like a raging storm on the sea as it got ready to capsize a boat coming back from a long voyage.

Matt look between the two of the boys clearly sensing miscommunication knowing that Ben what say what he was feeling " look you two currently have a lot to talk about" Matt said as he walked inside greeting Ben's family. Dean followed after Ben trying to move the best he could so he could get on some rocks so he could dry off. He looked up at the two other males as he waited looking down at his tail to see if it had dried off yet.

The older man pulls the boat to the secluded part of the beach tiny tide pools were and hops out making sure no one was around, then motioning for Ben to come to the surface. " you know this would have been a lot easier if we had that ramp i was talking about" Benjamin said as soon as he surfaced.

" what's going on with the lights I change of the yesterday they shouldn't be going off like this" he said as he went over to the light switch wondering if something was wrong with the circuits. " after you're done getting ready bad can you help me finishing touches on the project" she said heading out of the bathroom to the living room where there was a bunch of supplies on the table.

Hearing the thud he went to go check on the other male “Ben?” he asked worried for the other “are you okay?” he asked him as he reached out to open the door. Dean was worried for the other male hoping he wasn’t hurt as he went to yank the door open to check on him stopping at what he saw unable to speak.

Ben wakes up after he feels Dean get out of bed taking a few moments before the light adjust see his eyes gets up and heads to the bathroom " Dean I'm going to the bathroom" he goes inside the bathroom and starts brushing his teeth when some of the water gets on his hand from the sink. He starts wobbling for reason he doesn't understand and falls on the ground with a loud thud.

   Dean came out moments later gasping for breath trying to catch it “w-what… what just h-happened?” he asked him finally saying something about what they had just seen back in the cave.

He began to think and then he remembered something his teacher told them about underwater cave systems " there should be but entrance somewhere if we can just find that we can get out of here" he said before he went down into the water then coming back up when he found the entrance " it shouldn't be that long swim we just need to hold our breath for a few minutes follow me" he said as he went back under the water just after the moon passed over the volcano
