I've been getting into pH-1 over the past month and he's great??

I'd heard about him when iffy came out but recently I've been listening to his views on Get Real Podcast on society, putting a (sort of) barrier between his fans through music and having the same MBTI as me and he's a pretty cool person.

His X mixtape and But For Now Leave Me Alone album are amazing. MORAGO, YUPPIE TING, I CAN TELL and ZOMBIES to me are his best songs and I can't wait for his new album in November.

There's smth abou sikk's and haon's friendship that makes me mad, how haon's music used to have meaning and how nice of a boy he was (and still is) but now acts like a fucker like sikk and his music doesn't have bigger meaning than "look how cool I am"

I need to know if I'm not the only one who thinks that

(have you seen this interview? they're being annoying lol, but they're also speaking about how haon was doing all this time so it's interesting to see just in case you haven't)

yeah it looks bad when you look at it like that... the music and "concept" or whatever they're representing these days is kind of shallow and doesn't have a lot of meaning. he was the philosopher rapper of khh and now this... i definitely understand your point and i'm sure you're not the only one :D

following is just my perspective and why i'm not that mad :)

haon was known to everyone as this positive-minded, friendly, wise little boy, but i'm pretty sure this image and expectations that came with it put a lot of pressure on him. sure he's a nice guy, but anyone else is also nice at one time or another. he's just a person like everyone else. after his initial success he didn't manage to release anything at all for ages. if his lyrics on this new album are based on his real life, he is just as depressed as so many other artists.

sik-k is the person who brought haon back to music by asking him to tour with him, and they jammed together without any goals, and this was how haon was able to create anything at all after all this time (see interview).

i think haon has been trying to get rid of his old image (even during the h1ghr red and blue tape he was always shirtless etc) but it didn't work that well, so he's trying more aggressively now which requires this "rebellious" behavior even if that behavior is dumb. (and yeah he's copying from sik-k because it seems like he doesn't know what else to do? he could have chosen differently, that's true :D)

and i think after he achieves that (getting rid of the old image), he will feel lighter and try many other things, contents, genres as well as keep developing as a person (which includes becoming more independent from sik-k :D). i see this as just the first step after a new start, like, starting from the bottom again? also, sometimes you have to catch up with dumb things you couldn't do/missed out on in your teens in your 20s.

(yeah i'm saying it's just a phase but people do go through phases right :D) i hope this makes sense :D
