Making another post to hopefully get some extra help. We do struggle but the beginning of this year has really got us beaten down. We've been out of food for a couple days now and we barely can pay each day. Right now it's 6 am and we don't have anything to pay for the room today. Any kind of help would mean a lot, thank you so much in advance. 🫂💚

Hi, I'm Link and since November 2021 (a year now) me and my family (my father and sibling) have been homeless. We've been motel hopping since then and I've been doing commissions to support a place for us to live and food to eat until something changes. Right now, we've been struggling a lot with food (recently we've gone a couple days without food on multiple occasions) and we've barely been able to pay for the room daily (im normally staying up till 11am just to make sure we have enough and don't get kicked out). We don't have any family support for money/food/another home in case we can't stay here, a car or an id or the money or a way to get an ID nor the documents to get one so this is the best we can do right now.

I realised looking though this blog that I haven't posted in forever. I guess general update is that I was h0meless for a bit, my parents got divorced, and i gained all my w3ight back. I live with my mom now, haven't talked to my dad is months.

my mental health has been absolute shit! dropped two classes last semester and am a bit behind already this semester. I miss my old life despite not missing the abus3 my dad put me though.

Th1s happened when 1 was n1ne sweeps 0ld, 1n d0wnt0wn Altern1a. And 1t t00k place 1n a l1ttle place called the “Salt and Pepper D1ner”.

Wh1ch was a w0nderful fam1ly restaurant 1n the c1ty, wh1ch means 1t caters t0 ma1nly teenagers, and h0meless sch1z0phren1cs. N0w, 1 g0 1nt0 th1s place 0ne day, when 1'm n1ne, w1th my best fr1end Br1gan.

We walk 1nt0 the Salt and Pepper d1ner 0ne day, and they had a jukeb0x there, alr1ght? And the jukeb0x, was three plays f0r a caeger. S0, we put 1n seven caegers, and selected 21 plays 0f T0m J0nes' "What's new pussycat"!

-He laughs-

And then we 0rdered, and wa1ted.

Here's the th1ng, ab0ut when "What's New Pussycat" plays, 0ver and 0ver and 0ver aga1n: The sec0nd t1me 1t plays, y0u're 1mmed1ate th0ught 1s n0t, "Hey! S0me0nes play1ng ‘Whats's New Pussycat’ aga1n."

1t's, "Hey... What's New Pussycat 1s a l0t l0nger than 1 f1rst th0ught, and 1t has l1ke... a d1p, 1n the m1ddle."

Because, when we were f1rst up at the jukeb0x, and when we were punch1ng in the "What's New Pussycat’s”, 1 punched 1n ab0ut seven, and then Br1gan says t0 me, "Hey, hey, hey wa1t... Bef0re we dr0p 1n an0ther “What's New Pussycat”, let's put 1n 0ne "1t's n0t unusual".”

And that 1s when the aftern00n went fr0m G00D, t0 GREAT!!

After seven "What's New Pussycat"s 1n a r0w ...Suddenly:

And the s1gh 0f rel1ef, that swept thr0ugh the d1ner!! Pe0ple were ECSTAT1C!!! 1t was l1ke the l1berat10n 0f East Altern1a!!

And the answer 1s “Yes!! Y0u can!!” As l0ng as 1t's pr0ceeded by seven “Whats New Pussycat"s!!

And 0n the 0ther hand-! When we went back... H0ly Sh1t!

"1t's n0t unusual" fades 0ut... 1t's dead qu1et...

"BWaAaAh Bw0a!!! WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?!?"

Pe0ple went fuck1ng 1nsane! N0 0ne c0uld handle 1t! N0 0ne c0uld handle 1t!

And they were surr0unded by th1s l1ke, seem1ngly 1nd1fferent staff?! That was just l1ke, "Yep, same sh1t as always."

My 0NLY w1sh 1s that 0ne 0f the sch1z0phren1cs st00d up and have been l1ke, "N_w Y_U kn_w!! N_w Y_U kn_w, what it is lik- t_ liv- in my brain!"

-He cackles-

They unplugged the jukeb0x, after eleven plays.

And THAT was the best meal 1've ever had.
