I'm just imagining having spent the night with a lover who isn't in the 141, only to wake up the next morning and there's in intervention waiting for you in the rec room.
Like, at first you're just confused. But when Price opens his mouth to ask you about how you slept...you have a bit of a meltdown. Why does it matter? Why is everyone staring at you? What's going on?
Soap grabs the collar of your t-shirt and pulls it down so everyone can get a look at the dark hickies dotting your neck. You slap his hand away, tears in your eyes.
"So all of you can do whatever you want? Sneak bitches on base and fuck around at all the bars we pass through! But I'm not allowed to do anything with someone I actually like?!"
It hurts. It feels like you're being stripped bare in front of them.
Price sighs, his gaze softens. It's obvious he doesn't want to have this conversation but something you've done has given him no choice. Soap just stands a few feet away, chest puffed out, eyeing you with a strange annoyance. You know if you try to leave he'll stop you.
"You are...not in the same position as us." Price tries and winces. He's obviously not putting his thoughts into soft enough words, but he continues. "You are...it is our responsibility to keep you safe."
"Safe? You're trying to keep me safe?" Your voice is raised higher than you've ever raised it at Price. "Safe by what? Fighting off all the guys at the bars? Safe by spreading lies about me to all of the PMCs and the other Task Forces?"
Price just closed his eyes and set his jaw. He had to know about the subterfuge you'd been experiencing for well over a couple years now. Everyone in the room was guilty as charged.
"You're and asset. And you're also a liability." Ghost speaks up, eyes narrowed, stance way too relaxed against the metal folding chair he sits in. "Do you remember what happened to the 7th Division?"
Saliva pools in your mouth, a sudden queasiness filling your stomach. Yeah, of course you remembered. Their beloved medic had been kidnapped by a group of angry drug lords using a mercenary group as their muscle. The 7th Division had gone in guns blazing to get their member back and well...they'd been wiped out. And their star medic they'd sacrificed everything for? She'd been brainwashed and inducted into the very agency that stole her away.
KORTAC
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" You mutter. "Please tell me you're not."
"We can't have you fraternizing with anyone." Price states smoothly. "As our medic, you have a responsibility to us, your team. We can't have you getting caught up in something bigger."
"I understand what you're saying, but can't you see how ridiculous this is?" You try to reason. "I'm human, I have- god this is embarrassing. I h-have wants and...needs, just like you guys."
The silence is loud. You can't meet anyone's gaze. Price steps closer to you, swallowing hard. His next few words are spoken softly, conspiratorially.
"All of your needs will be taken care of. We will never let you suffer by yourself."
Price cocks his head to the men before you both. All of them straighten beneath his gaze. Price places a hand on the small of your back.
"Whatever it takes." He commands them. "I better not hear or see anything. Do I make myself clear?"
A trio of "yessirs" bounce off the white walls. Price just smiles and nods. He pats your back.
"There we go. You'll be fine." He sighs. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to talk to your guest."
Your eyes widen, your throat drops into your stomach.
"Wait!"
"We've got ye, Bonnie. You n' all yer needs."
Six hands are on you from several different angles. Their massive frames block out the fluorescent lights.
"Ah, where are you goin'?" Gaz chuckles, his arm wraps around your belly.
You try to run after Price but the rec room door is slammed shut and locked. You try to push the closest man away, but he just grins down at you.

9 Fandom Peeps to Get to Know Better
tagged by @defeateddetectives /o/
3 ships you like: *looks into void* do I even have 3 proper ships
1) MikoIzuTotsu (Suoh Mikoto x Kusanagi Izumo x Totsuka Tatara) - K
And no one was surprised. I MEAN ITS BEEN OVER TEN YEARS. BUT A GOOD CHUNK OF THOSE TEN YEARS WERE DEDICATED TO HOMURA TRIO (well technically... the real answer is Totsuka Tatara however we will ignore that for the sake of this meme). Get yourself two others who will go through it all with you thick or thin. Get yourself a leash i mean what. Get yourself a Kusanagi-san! Settle down in a bar and raise i mean gather a gang family!
2) Qin Jiu x You Huo - Global Examination
Felt obligated to include them since I'm currently trying to drag ppl to read this lmao. Also bc i have no ships to answer with, help. BUT THE CHEMISTRY! I mean, this is probably the first time I clearly see what people mean by the word ~ chemistry ~. Qin Jiu is such a chaotic menace, You Huo is such a chaotic menace, they are similar but also different and then put them together and everyone suffers, it's beautiful *wipes tear*. But they are also so so so soft together (i was going to say, in private.... but also in front of people's salad so!!!) *clutches heart*. The author, 木苏里 just does a create job exploring the two throughout the story, READ GLOBAL EXAMINATION! THERE'S ALSO AN ONGOING MANHUA THAT COVERS LIKE A THIRD. DO IT. and then send me liveblogs pls and thanks.
3) H-h-help... ships... are hard... I... don't ...
first ship ever: IzuTotsu (Kusanagi Izumo x Totsuka Tatara) - K Shamelessly links to that post where I sobbed over everything #Actual Marriage Goals The trust! The intuitive understanding! The communication! (sorry Mikoto, your grunting fails you) The ~ G o S s i P i n g ~ ! The mutual support and comfort ;_;! The domesticity of it all! The quipping and doting! The we're all in this (this = Mikoto doom but with matching wing tattoos) together! The seemless division of labor haha
last song you heard: i turned on my playlist when i saw this question so that by the time i finish answering the meme and come back to this question, i will have an answer… Anyways, so the answer is…. ~ wHAT A coINcindENce ~ Dark Night Fireworks, Lucien's season 1 theme from MLQC.
favourite childhood book: Uh........ idk.... Deltora Quest? Alex Rider series? If manga counts then maybe Detective Conan? lmao.
currently reading: I’m Not Shouldering This Blame (这锅我不背) Current novel in my danmei binging spree. 40 chaps in, enjoying it so far. Synopsis gives a pretty good idea of what to expect. Hordes of book transmigrators trying to derail or benefit from knowing the plot, military dealing with the supernatural mess and notifying MC and ML who are supposedly the villains, MC... just trying to work in peace cmon, ML... just trying to seduce MC cmon.
currently watching: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Just finished it over the last few days hence why there's a few posts in my queue. It’s nice and chill. I admit I was eyeing Himmel the moment he appeared in the first episode and didn't know whether to laugh or cry at his instant transformation / flashforward to old bald man. Was pleasantly surprised to see him appearing constantly in flashbacks haunting the narrative ethereal dead wife style lmao.
currently consuming: I waited for dinner to write this! Was lazy tonight so just a bunch of easy to prep in 5 min sides. Rice, Prawn dumplings, Chilli Bamboo (Fu Chi brand), Century Egg + Tofu + Pork floss, Smashed cucumber salad that I managed to ruin :/
currently craving: A reason to live A shiny new satisfying fandom obsession... Motivation and energy and wisdom to adult... A yakult and WangLaoJi... ... ...... *walks to fridge and grabs yakult and wanglaoji*

✞SELFSHIPTOBER✞
Day 9: Music
~✞~ ~✞~ ~✞~ ~✞~
Characters: Rei, Rosho, Sasara and Poison (me)
Relationship: Poly Relationship
Songs referenced: Dreamin'night and What a OSAKA!
This will follow the story of how the trio meet Poison. I feel like this promote works best for that story
~✞~ ~✞~ ~✞~ ~✞
Poison was not happy. The place they worked had a location in Japan, and because of the event being held there, they needed extra hands. Everyone was confused about why the Japan location needed people from the American location for the event. Until they realized the Party Of Worlds wanted them there. So Poison couldn't say no even if tried.
But what made their attitude worse was the fact that the event they were forced to work was the event they already had tickets for.
Poison was a huge fan of the Osaka division rap group Dotsuitare Hompo. It was hard for them to see their shows because they lived in America. So they were forced to watch their shows on YouTube when record live shows were posted or when new albums came out. They even owned official Dotsuitare Hompo light rings that they were lucky enough to find second hand. So when they money finally came around for their next show, they sucked it up and planned a trip to Japan to see them as an early birthday gift to themselves.
So they were beyond pissed when they found out they were being flew out to Japan to work for the event they were supposed to have front row seats for. They ended up selling their tickets and getting their money back, but it still ticked them off.
Alot
So now they stood in front of the steeps that led up to the show area where the event was happening. All of the workers and staff wore a special jacket that had the places logo as well as the Power Of World logo on it so everyone knew who they were. Of course, everyone hated it. It was itchy and hot, and it worse than what they wore back in America. Only good thing that came out of it was how many pockets it had. Poison was able to hide their phone, wallet, earbuds, even a can of Monster inside their sleeve due to their jacket being too big.
"Oh my god, this sucks!" Poison whined, leaning their head against the wall. They could hear the sound of music and people cheering right up the stairs in front of them. "Thay should be me! Me!"
"I can't believe we're here to just stand here for 5 hours and give directions." Their co-worker said, leaning against the wall.
"That's what makes all this worse. I have to listen to people have fun." Poison leaned their back against the wall and slid to their butt. "I worked so hard for those tickets."
"I mean, at least you got all the money back"
"I guess. But front row seat?"
Their co-worker sighed. "Yeah.. now thinking about it. It does suck"
"Ugh!" Poison groaned as they chugged down the rest of their Monster.
Their co-worker moved next to them. "Hey, at least you can buy merch. I heard we get discounts at the booths"
"Yeah. They have a really cool hoodie I was looking at."
"See, this didn't turn out all bad"
"Yeah.."
Poison and their co-worker continued to stand... or lean... at their post. They told people where to go if they arrived to see the show or just need to use they bathroom. Poison would catch snippets of what song was playing from where they stood. They would hum and dance to the song they probably knew by heart. They had even bought their light ring where they waved their hands to the beat of the song playing. Their co-worker would record them before they both would start dying from laughter. They were just trying to make the best of the situation, especially Poison.
Intermission soon came, which mean Poison and their co-worker could switch places with someone else and take a break. Their co-worker walked with Poison to the merch booths and watched them buy hoodies, shirts, and other official merch they wouldn't be able to get back in America. They walked to the breakroom where Poison felt a little better about everything now, having a chibi keychain of their favorite trio.
Meanwhile, Dotsuitare Hompo was taking their well-deserved break before they had to go back on stage. They loved the crowds energy, especially Sasara. He could wait to get back on stage.
"This is great! We haven't a crowd like this in a while" Sasara smiled. He turned his attention to his purple haired friend Rosho. "How are you doing over there?"
Rosho sighed as he drank some water. "I haven't been this tired in a while. We still have 2 more hours to go"
"That's part of show bizz Rosho! Come on, aren't you having fun?" Sasara went over to the sofa where Rosho was sitting and sat next to him
"I am, I have to admit."
"Good. Cause you were looking nerves when we first got up there. Had cold feet?"
"Most likely"
Sasara could see the sadden look on his friends face. He patted Rosho's back. "Well you're doing just fine. The crowd loves you."
Rosho fixed his glasses after Sasara patted his back. He chuckled a bit. "Oh, I wanted to show you something. I saw it when I stepped out for some air"
Rosho took out his phone, Sasara looking over his side to see. Rosho pulled up their hashtag on social media. He showed the green haired comedian a video of someone dancing at the base of the stairs that led up to the showroom. He knew it was an employee by the jacket they wore.
"Awww, this is cute" Sasara chuckled.
"I thought it was too. They seem to know a lot of our songs. You think they're a fan?" Rosho asked.
"Most likely."
"I kinda feel bad. They might have had to miss our show because of work"
"Well, that just sucks. But they seem to still be having fun"
Rosho hummed a bit as he looked back at the video. He scrolled through the comments, seeing people replying mostly with love for the person on the screen.
He snapped out his thoughts when Rei walked back into the room. "I'm back~"
"Where have you been?" Sasara moved over on the sofa for Rei to join them.
"Went out for a smoke." He sat down, putting his arms around Rosho and Sasara's shoulders. "What are we watching?"
Rosho showed him the video. "One of the employees working the event is a fan of ours"
"I think it sucks they had a work during a show they clearly wanted to see. They know dreamin'night by heart." Sasara added.
Rei raised a brow as he watched the video. "I just saw them"
Rosho and Sasara raised a brow. "You did!?"
Rei nodded. "When I was walking back here, I watched them walk to their own breakroom with a co-worker. Their employees and staff's breakroom is right above us. They held a bunch of our merch. It was kinda cute."
"So they are fan!" Sasara smiled.
"I overheard something about them saying the money spent on merch was worth selling their ticket." Rei added.
Rosho sighed as he turned off his phone. "That's what we were talking about. We had a feeling there was something more behind this video."
"I figured they had tickets but canceled because of work. What makes it worse is that Party Of Worlds dragged them to work the event." Sasara said.
Rosho raised a brow. "They did?"
"This place has an America location. I don't know the full story, just what I overheard security talking about, but Power Of World had people from the american location come here to work the event" Sasara explained.
"And it looks like our little fan here is one of them. They had the Power Of Worlds logo on their chest and nit the back. Which means they're from the America location" Rei added.
Rosho raised a brow. Now he really felt bad for them "That's-"
"Not fair?" Rei smirked.
"Yes, very" Rosho sighed.
"Well, if it makes you both feel better, their name is Poison. I got a glimpse of their name tag." Rei said.
"Poison" Rosho repeated the name, as if he was trying to remember it.
The lights in the dressing room flickered, telling the trio it was time to go back on stage.
"Well, try to finish this show." Sasara hopped off the couch with a smile.
"Want to go out for drinks after?" Rei asked, standing as well. "It's on me?"
"Sure, why not" Sasara shrugged.
The two headed out the dressing room. Rosho looked at his phone, remembering the video of Poison dancing and singing. He couldn't get it iff his mind, he wasn't sure why.
"Rosho, come on" Sasara peaked his head through the doorway.
"Coming." He sighed and followed behind them, stuffing his phone back into his pocket.
It was the final stretch of the night and Poison was back at their post by the stairs. They sighed as drunk from the can of cola they stole from the breakroom, hiding it in the sleeve of their work jacket.
"Well, it's the last hour. You think we'll survive?" Their co-worker joked.
"Nah. The caffeine isn't hitting." Poison sighed.
"Yeah, cause your body is use to two cans of Monster already. And you're not going up to three. Not on my watch"
"Booo"
"I'm sorry I care for your heart."
Poison sighed as they leaned against the wall. Their ears only perked up when they heard one of their favorite songs play inside the event space.
"They're performing What A Osaka!? And I'm missing it!" Poison pushed themsevles off the wall.
"Is that what your ringtone is?" Their co-worker asked with a smirk. "You wanna go see it?"
"Very" Poison whined.
Their co-worker chuckled before whispering. "I can cover for you. But only for 10 minutes. I don't want anyone getting suspicious."
Poison's gasped, their eyes sparkling. "Really!?"
"Yep. Now hurry along before you miss the song-oh"
Poison brought their co-worker into a tight hug. "Thank you!"
Their co-worker chuckled and hugged back. "No problem.
Poison smiled before running up the stairs to the event space. They took a deep breath before gently pushing open the doors. They gasped again, their smile getting even brighter at the large space in front of them. They didn't expect the evetn space to be so huge. It was full of people, waving their orange light sticks in the air at the stage that held Dotsuitare Hompo. The sound of the speakers around them made their inside shakes. They felt alive.
They fumbled to take out their own light stick they bought at the merch booths. They found an empty seat and went to that one, hoping no one was sitting there. They joined in waving the light stick quickly and singing along with everyone else. The people around them were really nice, almost ignoring their uniform shirt. They gave Poison a wink, as if they were going to keep it a secret that they were there, even though they wasn't. They traded stickers, photo cards, and they gave Poison more Dotsuitare Hompo light rings so they could fill their hand with then like many others did.
Poison felt at home.
Until they needed to leave. The song ended and they could only stay half way through the other song that played. They said bye to their new friends, putting their work jacket back on and leaving through the doors. What they didn't realize, that someone on stage saw them leave.
The event finally ended and the event space was empty. Everyone was happy the event was over. Everyone was tired and wanted to go home. But first, a picture.
"I can't take a picture like this. I look terrible. And this is going on the wall!" Poison's co-workwr whined.
"Oh you look fine. Just hid behind a taller person" Poison chuckled. "Plus, Dotsuitare Hompo are the highlights of the photo. We'll be fine"
"True" Their co-worker shrugged.
They walked through the back way of the event space to get to the stage. Even if it was for 10 minutes, it was 10 minutes Poison hold really close to them. They stood on the stage with other co-workers and staff as the members of Dotsuitare Hompo; Rei, Rosho, and Sasara sat on the edge.
"Oh look at them. They're even beautiful up close" Poison sighed. "Rei is much taller in person than on a screen"
"He carries that fur coat all the time?" Their co-worker asked.
"For the most part"
"He dresses like an old man"
Poison gasped playfully, putting a hand on their chest. "How dare you? But you're right. I still love him either way"
The two giggles among themsevles as they got in post for the photo. After many photos taken, it was officially time to go. Poison had already grabbed their bag out the breakroom when their co-worker did so they could leave right out. Poison stood by the curtains while their co-worker signed them both out for the night. They held a few stickers in their hand as they watched the rap trio talk with some other staff members. They wondered if it would be appropriate to go over and give them the stickers. It was just little chibi versions of them. It was nothing bad.
"You ready to go? The van to take us back to the hotel is outside. The rest of the group is going for drinks-" Their co-worker walked over to Poison and raised a brow. They noticed Poison holding the stickers and looking at the rap trio. "You wanna give them the stickers?"
"Huh?" Poison snapped out their thoughts. "Well... yeah."
"Why don't you? Nervous?"
"Yeah.."
"Come on. I'll walk with yo-"
"No! I looked terrible! I'm in my work uniform and I looked like I haven't slept in days."
"Cause you haven't?"
"Exactly! They can't see me like thi- wait no! Dude!"
Poison cried out to their co-worker as they walked over to the rap trio.
"Hello!" Their co-worker put on a polite smile as they walked over. "I hope you all had a great show"
The rap trio turned their attention to them and smiled.
"Thanks to you all. Thanks for hosting the show at your events space" Sasara smiled.
"Of course! I don't want to keep you long. We all want to get home, especially me. I have a bottle of wine waiting for me" The co-worker joked. "But my friend here wants to- huh? Poison!"
Poison had hid behind the curtains. Their co-worker turned to realize they were hiding.
"Get over here!" They groaned
"Nah... I'm good" Poison poked out their hand, giving a thumbs up.
Their co-worker rolled their eyes before turning back to the rap trio. "I'll be back... Poison!"
The co-worker went to the curtains and tried pulling Poison from behind them. The two whispered curses at each other as they pulled against one another. Rei, Sasara and Rosho found it a bit funny, especially after seeing the video and Rei seeing them sneak in and out the show earlier.
The co-worker soon dragged Poison over and sighed. "They, have something to give you."
Poison looked up at the rap trio. They froze, their heard racing in their chest. From the caffeine finally kicking in and the nerves they were feeling. Their hands trembled as their grip on the stickers tightened.
The rap trio stared at them, trying to hold back their grins. They found how nerves Poison was a little fun but also adorable. The contrast from the gitty person on the video and the one in front of them now was a bit entertaining.
"Say something you idiot" Their co-worker whispered.
"I... uhm!" Poison was at a lost of words. Which wasn't like them. They were quiet and reserved but this, this was something new. Was this what feeling shy was?
"Ooh! Are those stickers?" Sasara spoke up, pointing to the ones in Poison's hand.
"Y-Yeah, they are." Poison cleared their throat, trying to regain their composure. "I made them for you"
Poison held out the chibi stickers to the rap trio. Sasara, being a bit more excited about them, took his chibi sticker.
"Thank you! These are really cute." Sasara smiled.
"Yeah, they really captured your goofy side" Rei smirked, taking his chibi sticker.
"Hey!"
Rosho took the last sticker and smiled a bit. "Thank you. These are really nice. I don't have anywhere to put it though"
"On your laptop" Sasara replied to him. "That's where I'm going to put mines."
Poison couldn't help but smile. They couldn't believe this was happening. They had to stop themsevles from bouncing in their shoes. Their co-worker rolled their eyes and chuckled. They were glad Poison was happy.
The rap trio took a few selfies with Poison. Slowly they started to see that gitty person they saw on the video. Poison started to loosen up a bit. But soon it was time for the rap trio to leave.
"Oh, before we go" Rei took off his hat and tossed three mochi plushies towards Poison. "Thank you again!"
"Thank you everyone!" Sasara waved to the remaining staff as he walked out the event space.
"What was that about?" Rosho asked.
"Were those mochi plushies?" Sasara added.
"They were" Rei smirked.
"And you gave it to them? For free?" Rosho raised a brow. "Why?"
"Don't know. Something inside told me to do it. So I stopped at the booth earlier before we went back on stage and got three of the plushies. I had you sign them so I could give it to them"
"Aww, that's sweet of you. I should of recorded. Who knows when you'll do something like that again." Sasara chuckled.
Rosho nodded and smiled as well. "Yeah. That was really nice of you. I bet it made them really happy."
Rei raised a brow and smirked. He kept the fact he saw Poison sneak in and out the show to himself. It was something special he saw, especially after knowing what Poison had sold their tickets in the first place.
"I think it did too"
It did. It made Poison beyond happy. They felt special. They got signed mochi plushies from Rei. They would never take off the tags. They were so happy they didn't want to leave the hotel room to go drinking with the others. They stayed at the hotel, telling their friends back in America what happened.
Maybe selling their tickets was a good idea after all

Heya! So, I'm not super familiar with Hypmic, but I figured I'd ask someone who's into it- What's the best place to start for getting into it? I'm only even half-certain of what it all is, tbh.
'Course!! So I'm still relatively new to the franchise myself so I'm definitely not going to be your be all and end all source for this. That said!
Basic plot synopsis:
It's a post-WW3 world and the warmongering government has been brought to heel by the power of all-women political organization known as the Party of Words, lead by the stoic Otome Tohoten. Using the newly developed Hypnosis Microphones, Otome demonstrates their devastating effects - less than lethal soul manipulation capable of torturing grown men into submission - on the Prime Minister, initiating a coup and bringing about the dawn of the H. Era. All lethal weaponry is banned and the only way to fight is with the power...of rap.
Establishing this new woman-led government, Otome further divides Japan into divisions, with Chuoku being the central seat of power where only women (and particularly women who work for the government) are allowed. Everyone else, including civilian women and all men are exiled to the outer divisions, where they must fight for control with the usage of the Microphones...and also it has to be via rap bc that's just where we're at.
At first, said Microphones are handed out willy-nilly, as all structure and government outside of Chuoku has been stricken to zero. Want a house? Rap for it. Need to defend your house from someone who wants to take it? Rap for it. Powerful individuals form gangs and eventually those gangs turn into organizations representing entire divisions. At the height of the consolidation of local divisions under the largest of the powers, Chuoku makes another announcement: rapping is no longer a free for all.
To ensure the safety of the public and to add order to chaos, Microphones are now only allowed to be used by those personally selected by the government. Moreover, the established divisions will now have a fixed set of representatives - a trio of rappers for each division. And lastly, these divisions must compete in the Division Rap Battle, a gladiatorial event in which the territories of each division are now officially decided by who wins and who loses.
The winner gets to take pieces of the other divisions' territories, expanding their power and influence, and also get a shitton of cash.
And thus begin the adventures of Hypnosis Mic!
Genrewise, I'd compare the tone to a delinquent manga with light sci-fi/fantasy elements. The plot is pretty thin and it's mostly just an excuse to serve up some really good characters and excellent music, which is what we're actually here for.
SO. WHERE TO START?
The CDs! THE primary format for HypMic and the base canon are the albums, as HypMic is first and foremost a music project. They are all free to listen to on Spotify!
It is very important to listen to the Drama Tracks, as those are your main story! On youtube, there is a playlist of all the Drama Tracks arranged in chronological order for easy listening, and all Drama Track translations can be found on the Wiki right here, also conveniently organized in chronological order.
Afterwards, if you're really interested in the characters and story, I recommend reading the manga! It does a great job fleshing out a lot of the aspects of each group, including important backstory information that isn't included in the tracks!
The manga is canon, so everything in it is relevant!
The events of the story are currently split into the First and Second Division Rap Battles. Ideally, you listen to the 1st DRB tracks, then read the manga that correspond to those (called "BB/MTC", "FP/M", "BAT/DH" and the important prequel manga "TDD". And yes that is what they're called those aren't just abbreviations lmao.)
Afterwards, listen to the remaining tracks and then read the rest of the manga! ("BB/MTC+", "FP/M+", "BAT/DH+", and a second prequel manga "DoD")
Don't worry as all the manga are relatively short and the drama CDs release very slowly. Once you catch up you'll stay caught up for a while, so take your time!
The anime, game, stage plays, etc. are all non-canon, so don't worry about those. You can enjoy them on your own free time if you get invested!
I've written a lot but the tl;dr is:
Listen to the CDs, read the Manga, then go wild on whatever else you want! And remember, the entire thing is very, very silly, so have fun!
#i know this is long but hopefully it is all legible#i do editing for a living so i sure hope it is...#long post#hypmic#lmk if it helps anon!

Sunday, 5 March, 2023....... Warmups........Deadlifts......... (2) Five Minute AMRAPS........
It’s going to be a perfect day at the Barn. Don’t miss it.
Warmups:
100 Partner Med-Ball Sit-Ups
Plank Challenge. Everyone holds a PLANK. The last people still going at 5 minutes are the winners. Warped PLANKS are scaled.
PLANKS are a classic lab exercise that measures Muscular Endurance. The Schwartz Family trio were the only ones that lasted to 5 minutes. Based on my observation, I would have predicted that Sue would be the next to quit after a few more minutes, followed by Dana, with old Herb not quitting until it got dark and we all went home. It was a matter of who was the meanest.
Strength WOD:

Notes:
The Annual Schwartz Bourbon Tasting Festival (ASBTF) is scheduled for Saturday, 25 March, 6 PM. You will be expected to RSVP as this is only mannerly. Details to follow.
The ASBTF is my favorite LHCF indoor event. I prefer it to the LHCF Christmas Party because it isn’t at my house and it costs me a lot less money. Also because I don’t have to accept unwanted gifts and endure a Robert speech about how much he loves me that one day of the year.
The Schwartz’s put on the World’s best ASBTF. Don’t miss it.
Louis/CeCe/Laine Grace and Beckham were also present and did a WOD consisting of chasing each other around the field and sword-fighting with sticks recently fallen from trees. No one was injured and no tears were shed.
Assistant Coach Butler’s Brentwood Eagles Men’s Basketball team won the state TSSAA Division 2 championship last evening. We can all hope to see him slightly more often and to be less tense and better behaved now that the season is over. HOPE is the key word.
Christina informed us today that while ZACHARY does indeed have an H in it, he prefers that the abbreviation be H-less, as in ZAC. ZACH has appeared on the white-board in the past but it was not his writing.
Tuesday at 4 PM. The long range forecast for Tuesday (done by the same wizards that forecast Florida being below sea-level by 2030) is for idyllic conditions perfect for outdoor CrossFit.

getting seriously injured on a mission and waking up in the infirmary and sam (wilson) is crying, begging for you to wake up cause he loves you and he never got a chance to tell you and he’s scared that he might never get to 🥺
omg you want me to break my own heart don’t you but i also had a lot of fun with this one hehe
warnings: shooting, mentions of death, blood
it all happened so fast. you, sam, and bucky were after some power-hungry maniac who was getting into business he shouldn't have been in. people at shield kept tabs on all enhanced people, ones who had extraordinary powers even if they weren't involved in the organization. it was simply for their protection and for the knowledge of the division. there were tons more superhumans out there with powers sourcing from more than a serum or spider bite. said power-hungry maniac wanted to kidnap some of them and make them work for him which obviously didn't go unnoticed by nick fury—nothing ever gets past him—so he sent you three in to do the job. he had warned you that this guy would most more than likely have others with him so you'd have to be aware while helping the abductees out.
as stated, it happened so fast. bucky and sam split from you to take down the main guy and the other guards he kept close to him while you would begin finding the enhanced and sneaking them out—you were the most covert of the trio. first, you found a blond you learned to be named danny who had a very calming aura about him that you didn't know you needed in that situation. then you rescued a beautiful redhead, elsa. there was only one more left to save and your part of the mission would be over. before you could move to work on finding the last imprisoned superhuman, three gunshots rang through the air and a pain spread in your abdomen. danny fell with you, but you realized that it was just to catch you as you saw the three gunshots had entered your body. red stained your shirt. clearly, a white top wasn't the best choice but it was too late to think about fashion choices at the moment.
you watched elsa dash to the man with the gun which had run out of bullets, only sounding with a click as he tried to shoot at her. she hopped up gracefully, swinging her legs around his neck and tightening her grip to close his airway. footsteps sounded from the opposite end of the hall and danny laid your head down gently to go deal with them, his glowing fist laying a strong punch to the dude and sending him flying towards the wall. there was no way that the guy didn't have a concussion at least, but he was passed out and danny ridded him of his weapons. elsa and danny both came up to you when you began to feel light-headed, black spots popping up in your peripheral vision.
"i'm so sorry, but me picking you up is likely to hurt," danny spoke in a calming voice. you had never heard a voice so smooth and comforting, but that just seemed to be how danny was with everything. it did hurt, but you were becoming slightly numb to it all. "elsa, you want to find miles while i get her some help?"
"on it," she muttered as she ran off, even that looking effortless and pretty as her long silky ponytail swang in the air. that was the last image you remembered seeing and the last thing you heard was danny whispering that he was going to find you some help before you passed out.
the light you woke up to was bright, too bright, almost blinding when you opened your eyes. you squinted at the intensity of the light but soon let your eyes adjust to it. the room you were in was a powerful shade of white which in no way helped with the brightness. once you got your sight set straight, you focused on another sense, sound. sniffling was heard to your left and you spotted your favorite person holding your hand in both of his. he was sitting next to you with his weight leaning on his propped-up elbows and he held your hand against his forehead, his eyes shut almost as if he was praying.
"please, wake up, y/n," he muttered under his breath shakily. he was crying. "i need you to wake up. i am begging you, please. i- i love you. i wanted to tell you yesterday but i think i may have lost my chance. i almost said it before we split up but i didn't and now i might never be given the opportunity again."
"sam?" you croaked, your voice not used to speaking after a long period of time. a gasp left his lips as his widened eyes met your frail face.
"oh my god, y/n. you're okay!" he spoke in relief before lightly pressing his lips to your forehead. "do you want me to go get bucky? he's been worried about you but he just left to go get everyone some food. danny, elsa, and miles are worried about you too. danny's still here and miles and elsa left with bucky, but i can go get them if you want," he rambled and if you weren't in such a weak state, you'd stand up and kiss him like there's no tomorrow.
"sam?"
"yes, sweetheart?"
"i love you too."

A Babysitting Misadventure
Rating: K+ for all the fluff
Synopsis: Momo Hinamori didn’t quite know what she was in for when she was tasked to take care of Ichika.
Characters/Pairings: Hitsuhina (of course!), a little Renruki and our favourite squad 10 vice captain Rangiku Matsumoto
Word Count: 2.5k
Author’s Notes: This is for @tinaillustrations as part of the Hitsuhina 2020 Exchange! I really was in between this and another fic but I love domestic fluff so this won out haha. It has been years since I have written fanfiction so I hope you enjoy it! I know I’m a little rusty but I cannot wait to share more with the Hitsuhina community! :)
-----
Momo Hinamori was having a good day. She had finished the work that Hirako-taicho had left her before he went to visit Hiyori-san in the Living World. She was almost done reading the book that Nanao had let her borrow. And it wasn’t even past noon.
She stretched her arms in front of her. “I can’t wait to take a break!” She was just about to get started on another pile of documents when all of a sudden the door crashed open—Renjii stood panting, with a crazed expression and a baby carrier in his hand.
“Hinamori!” His eyes filled with relief. “I am so glad you’re here!”
The brown-haired girl walked up to him. “Abarai-kun, what’s wrong? Why are you out of breath?” She bent down to look at baby Ichika who was sound asleep, in deep contrast to her father.
“Rukia—emergency— mission—,” he huffed, “distress call—I need to go!” He only had the strength to force out short phrases as he seemed at the point of collapsing.
Momo looked at him with great sympathy. “You must go then!” She looked down at Ichika. “But why do you need me…?”
He grabbed her shoulders. “You’re a girl— you can take care of her!”
“What!” Momo exclaimed. “Abarai-kun!” But it was too late, the red headed vice-captain had already shunpoed away. Only baby Ichika fast asleep in her carrier remained as proof that the last 2 minutes really occurred.
The petite vice-captain sighed in exasperation, her side bangs fluttering away from her face.
“Mou…what am I going to do now?”
---
Momo wasn’t worried—yet. She had spent some time with playing with Ichika when both Renjii and Rukia were around. However, she had never taken care of the baby by herself. Glancing down at the carrier she placed on a seat next to her desk, Momo felt an apprehension in the pit of her stomach.
Well, Ichika-chan is still sleeping, so I should take advantage of the opportunity to work.
Momo busied herself and was in the midst of starting the third pile when a high pitch wail spooked her out of her chair.
“Oh no, Ichika!” Momo picked up the crying baby, immediately trying to console her. She hopped from side to side, in attempt to soothe her but Ichika did not quiet. She quickly looked around in the back of the carrier for anything that would help but couldn’t find anything. Ichika continued to wail and Momo felt her heart break.
“Mou, I need help!” At her wits end, Momo grabbed the carrier in one hand and ran out of the office. She was sure that she looked like a comical sight with a crying baby in tow, but she was determined to find someone to help.
However, as she made it through the divisions, she kept on hitting dead ends. At the first division, Nanao was out on errands, delivering paperwork for the upcoming meeting. At the third division, Captain Rose answered the door with a wary glance at the crying baby, but informed her that Kira was out on a mission. Momo had then stopped by the fourth division but Isane was out in the fields doing healing training.
And even though Momo was slowing down, Ichika continued to cry loudly, inciting shinigami to look at the two with pity. How could one small baby have so much energy to cry? She was so tired that she felt like she could collapse right then and there from all the running.
“Hinamori?”
Momo turned. “Rangiku-san!” The blonde was coming out of her quarters, hair unkempt and rubbing her eyes from sleep. Momo had never seen Matsumoto so not put together—but she was the only person so far who seemed to be available to help. “I am so glad to see you!” Momo exclaimed.
“Well, I can’t say I’m glad to hear you!” Matsumoto covered her ears. “Why’s Ichika-chan crying?”
“I don’t know!” Momo cried. “I’ve been trying to calm her down but nothing is working! Abarai-kun left me with just her carrier so I can’t even do anything!” To add to the point, Ichika seemed to cry even louder.
“Well that won’t do,” Rangiku muttered. “Hmm…I think I have something that might help.” She disappeared and Momo could hear some noises coming from inside. Shortly after Matsumoto appeared with a baby bottle full of milk. “Here, I found some milk in the fridge inside.”
Momo took the bottle gratefully but stopped. “Why do you have a baby bottle?” she asked dubiously.
“It was for a drinking game,” Matsumoto responded dismissively. Momo raised her eyebrow but thought better to ask further. She gestured the bottle to Ichika who eagerly latched on and drank, closing her eyes to sleep again.
Momo sighed in relief. “Ahh, it worked! Thank you so much Rangiku-san!” But Momo looked up and the blonde was already gone. Momo would have been insulted if she weren’t so relieved that Ichika had finally quieted down.
Knowing that there was only one more person she could ask for help, she quickly set out with the sleeping baby in tow.
---
Toushiro Hitsugaya was having a decent day. He slept well the night before and had woken up early to train. He had already completed his stacks of paperwork and was reviewing the report for his meeting with Captain Commander later in the day. It was also far more productive than he could say for his vice-captain who was conveniently late to work though it was far past noon.
He was just skimming the report when he heard the door slide open quickly.
“Hitsugaya-kun! Would it be alright if I stayed here?” Momo asked.
“I have to work,” he responded, not missing a beat and continued reading.
“But Hitsugaya-kun, I need your help!” At this, Toushiro looked up and was surprised to see how frazzled his childhood friend looked. Her hair stuck out in a disarray and she had an urgent look in her eyes. Then he noticed the sleeping baby in her arms.
“Why do you have Ichika?”
“Abarai-kun had to go help Rukia-san on her mission! He left Ichika-chan to me but didn’t give me any of her toys or baby bottles! She started to cry and I tried to soothe her but she wouldn’t stop—only until she drank something! Now she’s asleep but I don’t know when she’ll wake up next!” she exclaimed, clearly at her limit. “I’ve been holding her for so long that I haven’t been able to use the restroom!”
“You couldn’t have asked anyone else to help?” He raised an eyebrow, not used to seeing her so out of sorts.
“I tried! I really did!” Momo cried out. “Hirako-taicho went to the living world, Kira’s on a mission, Nanao-san was busy with paperwork and I asked Rangiku-san.” She sighed dejectedly. “But she left me.”
“Why am I not surprised?” Toushiro responded dryly. Momo looked at him pleadingly, to which he sighed. “Fine, you can stay here.”
She felt an immense wave of relief wash over her. “Yes! Thank you so much Shiro-chan!”
“Hinamori! Enough with that nick name!” he grumbled, crossing his arms, looking off to the side.
“I’m sorry Hitsugaya-kun,” she looked up at him through her eye lashes, with the full intention of softening his annoyance. “Thank you for letting me stay here.” She smiled sweetly for extra effort knowing that her childhood friend could never stay mad at her for too long.
Toushiro’s cheeks warmed up. “Whatever, you’re welcome” he muttered.
Then it hit her. “Ah, Hitsugaya-kun! Can you hold her for a second? I’m going to go use the restroom!”
“Me?” he sputtered. “Hinamori, I have never held an infant in my life.”
She was already handing the sleeping Ichika to the white-haired captain’s reluctant open arms. “Don’t worry! You’ll get the hang of it! Just make sure to support her neck and let her head rest on our shoulder…and hold your arm underneath.” Momo adjusted his arms and hands. “There! You’re good to go!”
Toushiro was most certainly not comfortable at all. He looked like he was staring at a tiny hollow on his shoulder, his turquoise eyes filled with apprehension.
“Hinamori, I don’t think this is a good idea…” He looked up and realized she was already gone. He sighed and sat down on the couch, making sure to watch baby Ichika who was fast asleep despite a seemingly uncomfortable position.
It really was the first time that he had seen a baby so close. He adjusted his arms so he could see her face clearly. She really does look like Kuchiki...
Toushiro remembered how enamored Hinamori and Matsumoto had been with the baby when she was just born. They had all visited the squad 13 vice-captain after she had given birth and was resting at home. Abarai had sat behind her the whole time, supporting her up on the futon. Toushiro couldn’t believe how wrinkled the baby looked, but both Abarai and the young Kuchiki’s gazes down were nothing short of full of love. He glanced to the side to see Momo staring at the trio affectionately, and Toushiro couldn’t help but wonder what she was thinking.
“Hitsugaya-kun?”
He turned to see Hinamori’s face looking down at Ichika with the same look as before. She had settled herself nicely next to him and was smiling to herself. “You got it!” she whispered gently. Momo smiled up at him. “See, I told you, you could do it!”
Toushiro felt his ears go hot. “H-Here you take her!” He lifted the baby off of him and onto Momo who quickly opened her arms. “Ahh, be careful Hitsugaya-kun!” Momo adjusted her position, but it was no use as Ichika started to stir. A look of confusion and fear passed by her face as she didn’t recognize the unfamiliar surroundings. Ichika’s bottom lip trembled and Momo felt the baby’s reiatsu hitch before she proceeded to wail again—and if possible, louder than before.
“Shiro-chan, I don’t know what to do!” Momo cradled Ichika in her arms, turning from side to side quickly in hopes to calm the baby down. But it was futile as the small baby howled, tears streaming down her chubby cheeks.
“Ichika,” he spoke with quiet authority.
The baby opened its violet eyes as Toushiro leaned over her and started moving his index finger, almost as if he were writing in the air. A blue light started to glow around his hand and suddenly dancing figures of ice emerged. Ichika’s wailing quieted to a coo as she watched the ice figures dance through the air and flutter down in front of her.
Momo stared in awe at Toushiro sitting next to her. Though they were shoulder to shoulder and he was releasing his reiatsu, she couldn’t feel the bite of the cold. She knew it had to do with him controlling his power so it wouldn’t harm her or the baby—that thought warmed her inside.
The ice sprites moved closer to settle on her arms, walking up to move closer to Ichika before disappearing in snow sparkles. The baby gurgled in excitement and reached a little fist to touch the snow.
She then pushed herself forward suddenly and Momo had to tighten her hold so she wouldn’t slip out of her arms. Toushiro sensed this and draped an arm on the couch behind the petite vice-captain so that she and Ichika were supported by his chest. At the back of her mind she registered she was so close to her childhood friend that she could feel the tickle of his hair on her cheek.
The show continued with Toushiro conjuring new characters and figures that enchanted baby Ichika with wonder. The exhaustion from her crying soon slowly overcame her as her eyelids fluttered close again.
“How did you do that Shiro-chan?” Momo whispered softly, as to not disturb the quietness of the moment.
Toushiro shrugged his shoulders, eyes still focused on the now drowsy baby. “I figured that Kuchiki-fuukutaicho would have created something out of ice for Ichika whenever they played together—knowing her penchant for Chappy.” He let out a smile. “She probably just misses her mom.”
“You’re amazing Shiro-chan.”
He turned to retort at her, but stopped at the look of admiration in her eyes.
“Hinamori…”
The two friends both looked down when Ichika started mumbling “Kaa-chan” before settling into a deep snooze. They both unconsciously smiled together.
Momo don’t know how long she and Toushiro sat there watching in quiet fascination at the sleeping baby in her arms. They both didn’t say anything, too wary of disturbing this rare peaceful moment. And though the neither of them had ever dealt with a newborn baby like this, it just felt right.
Momo was so focused on holding Ichika she didn’t notice Toushiro curl his arm around her to tuck her closer to him and that he moved his face towards her’s.
“Captain?”
The two broke apart to see Matsumoto staring at them, which made Momo wonder how long she had been standing there. There was a knowing look in her grey-blue eyes and a soft smile on her face.
“We have to leave in a couple minutes for the meeting with Captain General Kyoraku.”
Toushiro cleared his throat and removed his arm from Momo, which she realized that she missed right away.
“Right, Matsumoto.” He looked away trying to regain his composure. “We’ll leave soon.”
“I should go as well,” Momo said softly, as to not wake baby Ichika and to avoid Toushiro and Matsumoto’s stares. “Thank you for your help Hitsugaya-kun.” She placed the sleeping child in the carrier before hurrying herself off the couch. “I’ll see you both later,” she quickly said as she dashed out leaving the 10th division officers behind.
Once the fifth vice-captain left, Matsumoto turned around slowly with a smirk on her face and raised eyebrow. “Did you enjoy your time with Hinamori-chan?” her voice dripping with implications.
Toushiro straightened his captain’s robe before pushing himself up and brushed past Matsumoto into the hallway. “Let’s not be late Matsumoto,” he said ignoring her previous statement.
“Don’t think this is over Captain! We must discuss this afterwards! I want to hear all the details!”
“There’ll be no such thing,” he replied shortly.
“Well, I think you might want to considering what I have…”
He turned to her as she dropped her soul pager in his hand, walking past with a confident gait. She winked as she looked over her shoulder. “I think you’ll want to save that photo.”
In confusion, he looked down at the photo on the small screen and his turquoise eyes widened. For on the screen was an image of a smiling Momo, gazing adoringly at baby Ichika, tucked in Toushiro’s arms. What shocked him was the soft look on his face directed at Momo. Though there was plenty of room for them on the tiny couch, they were so close together that it looked like a young couple and their child—he could feel his ears heat up.
“Don’t worry Captain, I’ll send it to you later,” Matsumoto called sweetly.
Toushiro huffed. Not that he cared.
But she had better send that picture to him later.

His thoughts are a jumble of noise. Overlapping and chomping at the bit to have a moment at the forefront. Green gaze darts left. Right. Takes in the familiar surroundings of the TVA. A shuttered breathe makes its way out. Back in. Out.
Sylvie. He has no doubts that without his inference, his Variant had struck out. That Sylvie would strike out at the Puppet Master behind the strings. Whether he had been bluffing or not--it hadn’t be a chance Loki had wanted to take. Not like that. Not without more information. If they had kept talking--if he could have simply--! A noise of frustration left his throat. He couldn’t blame her. H couldn’t. Would he have done the same--? No. Maybe. It was...complicated. A part of him still twists in anger and blame. Betrayal weighing heavily on his very being.
He can’t dwell on it. He needs to move. He needs to...go. His feet are moving before he can properly process the notion. Bringing him out of the room--down the hallways. Past the frantic members of the Organization, armed to the teeth to go and right the absolute chaos descending onto the timelines.
His speed increases, thoughts still a menagerie of white noise. Pushing bodies without truly seeing who they were or where they might land.
Mobius. Thanks for the spark.
He wanted--no. He needed to find the man. Track him down--and and explain the situation. Explain and tackle the situation together. That was what they did. Place their heads together and figure out what to do. Just as they’d done to find his Variants. Mobius was smart. Quick on his feet. He had to know some--some emergency protocol! Deep in his knowledge of the TVA.
Loki wove through their past haunts; peered through the aisles and aisles of files that made up the level of the archives. Endlessly stretching on and on. Disappointment and worry growing with each step that bore no sign of his proverbial rock in the stream. Panic threatening to claw up his throat.
Until--! Was that? Low voices up ahead; around the corner. His steps sped. Slowed. Yes! YES! Mobius and B-15--! Talking with their hands--staring at the small screen of a TemPad.
"At this point, how are we gonna stop it?”
“We can’t!” The outburst was shouted out before he could think to control it. The two turned, expressions drenched in confusion. Confusion he could only chalk up to his sudden appearance considering he was meant to still be in Citadel. In the Beyond.
“What?” “What’d you say?”
He walked closer, eyebrows knit together. “It’s done Mobius. We made a terrible mistake--”
“What’s done?” B-15 questioned, lowering the TemPad for a moment.
“We freed the timeline! We found him--beyond the storm. A Citadel at the END of Time!” Hands moved, outstretching to stress the urgency of his words. “He’s terrifying--I. He planned everything. He’s SEEN everything! He KNOWS EVERYTHING!” A pause. A pant. “It’s COMPLICATED, Okay?!”
Mobius’ hands moved, outward. Upwards. Noncombative. T rying to calm--to soothe and Loki looked to him in desperation as he continued on. Needing to get the words out. To warn. To--to try and fix this mess. “Someone is coming. Countless different versions of a VERY dangerous person!” He thought to the small manipulations that had danced across the desk. The warning that had been given. Honest words--the lesser of any evils sitting before them.
“They’re ALL set on war! We need to prepare!” The last word was stressed and Loki looked to Mobius as the other began to speak. Waiting for that reassurance. Waiting for that plan.
“Take it easy--you’re an analyst, right?” His voice was soft but stern. Trying to get to the point. “What division are you from?”
“--What?” There it was again. That panic. That noise in his very being. “What are you talking about?”
“Who are you? What’s your name?”
If it were anyone else, he could cite it as a prank. In very poor taste, at a time like this. But the confusion adorning the analysts face was genuine. Concerned.
He was vaguely aware of B-15 calling for backup to the archives as his head swung in desperation, searching the space around him for a sign that this wasn’t real. That this wasn’t actually happening--only to fall on the statue that was built outside the open balcony. What had once been a trio of figureheads--now only stood a single man, the carved stone a rendered image of the very Emperor they’d encountered in the Citadel.
Mobius was still talking--expression never dipping out of that concerned look. Fishing for answers that Loki simply didn’t have the strength to give as the world he’d known for however long simply toppled like unbalanced blocks that a child might have built.

"It's all about the money." -Joe Jackson
Introduction
Tomi Chōten is the leader of the Aoyama Division rap battle team, Jet Set Trio. He is known far and wide by his moniker, High Class. He is a socialite who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, thanks to his parents, the owner of the town's most precious metals, and the main spokesperson for Chuuohku. He never wants for nothing, and firmly believes that his wealth and class are more than enough to believe that he is better than anyone else.
Tomi is a man in his mid-20s who still looks like a kid fresh out of high school. He has bleached blonde-white hair that is in a curly short ponytail that stops just past his neck. His eyes are grayish in color. His most interesting feature is his eyebrows, which are long and curly, going in a small full loop on his forehead. He is of average weight, far from being fat or slim, and he has no real noticeable muscles.
As befitting one of his station, Tomi typically dresses up in whatever is the current style these days. He especially likes clothes from Versace.
Usually, you can find him wearing a long white dress shirt tucked into his dark dress pants secured with a black belt with a silver belt buckle. He wears an emerald green necktie that is kept in place with a gold clip at the top of his dress shirt. At the bottom of his tie, it is decorated with a gold dollar sign symbol that is sewn on. Over his dress shirt, he wears an emerald-green suit jacket that is unbuttoned but is adorned with gold buttons and buckles. Lastly, to complete his outfit, he wears a pair of black dress shoes and matching dress socks on his feet.

Hypnosis Microphone
Tomi's Microphone is akin to a royal scepter held by a king or a queen. It is adorned with numerous jewels that are gold, silver, and blue. The top part (the windscreen) looks similar to a crown (without the cross).
His Speakers take the form of gold money bags with the group's symbol on them. Inside of the money bags are speakers.
His rap ability, Avarice, has him rapping some enchanting words about money at one of his opponents. Before they know it, they are filled with images of dollar bills falling all around them. As they are enamored at the sight, they leave themselves wide open for an attack by Tomi or his partners. He can only use this move once per battle and only on one opponent.
Tomi's rap themes are similar to that of GIGOLO's, in that they are centered around the 'champagne life', which is a lifestyle involving the enjoyment of luxuries and expensive pleasures. His raps are very narcissistic, as he constantly shamelessly flaunts his wealth and status while taunting and insulting those who are beneath him, especially people of the poor.
Personality
Ever since he was just a child, Tomi has been used to having everything that he wanted, exactly how he wanted. And as the son of two of the richest people ever to set foot in Japan and part of the elite, what else would you expect? Surrounded day and night by an army of loyal servants at his beck and call, there is nothing this young socialite enjoys more than making the life of those who make his life perfect, utterly hellish.
In public, Tomi fits the role of a perfect gentleman. He is quick to praise the accolades of his peers, smile a charming smile towards the way of one of his parents' friends, or shake hands with some nobody who's trying to get in good with him to get to his wealth. Tomi has seen these types of people since he was a child, and he is used to them.
Inwardly, however, Tomi looks upon all of them as being nothing more than 'servants' or 'lapdogs' meant to serve him. He has each of them 'numbered', and gives them all nicknames, which he calls them in private. He is quick to badmouth someone behind their back to someone else, only to badmouth that same person to someone else. It amuses him to see brawls or fights start out because of something that he did, directly or indirectly.
Despite his pompous attitude, Tomi dislikes being insulted or punished, especially by his parents or friends. While he will never admit it, Tomi suffers from an 'inferiority superiority complex.' Although he thinks the world of himself, his high-and-mighty attitude actually hides a crippling insecurity. The reason for this is because he has such a high opinion of himself that he can't deal with any kind of perceived failure or rejection, which explains why he frequently belittles or looks down upon those around him. If he feels that he has disappointed himself or others, he will often fall into a depression and lock himself away in his room until he feels better.
While Tomi does have issues, he does value and like most people, including his fellow friends in the JST. He feels that he can be himself with them, and they will not judge him for it. He also seeks to make his parents proud. After his younger brother left, he vowed to make it so that his parents won't have to worry about anything, and that he will do what he can to make their lives easier.
Background
*coming soon*
Trivia
Ever since he's eaten Luis's food, he makes it a point to eat at his restaurant at least three or four times a week.
Because of his youthful appearance, people always assume he is younger than he looks.
Despite his mom being a spokesperson for Chuohku, he doesn't trust them.
He has an antagonistic relationship with his younger brother for abandoning the family. ...At least in public.
It is rare to see him without a cigar in his hand. His favorite brand is 'Royal Courtesan', the most expensive cigar in the world to date.
On May 24th, 2024, after almost a year of dating, he and Miho Kobayashi officially became husband and wife. Unfortunately, they divorced a few months later after a sex tape was played on live television featuring Tomi and another woman, much to his disgrace and heartache.

PEMDAS - Special Year-End Edition - Albums
I love end of year lists because I like consensus, rankings and numbers. But consensus is all based on who gets to rank, and the people who get the most access to major publication rankings are white men, so the numbers are tainted by white supremacy, misogyny, and many other forms of bigotry.
Which makes it even more interesting to see what gets ranked where.
Here’s a Google Sheet I made of all the lists and I created a formula that basically measures how many times an album placed on a list as well as how high it placed on that list. I’m going to keep updating this list as it’s not done, but it’s fun to play around with right now!
According to my formula and the critics, the top 10 albums of 2020 (in order) are:
#1: Fetch the Bolt Cutters •• Fiona Apple
#2: RTJ4 •• Run the Jewels
#3: folklore •• Taylor Swift
#4: Future Nostalgia •• Dua Lipa
#5: Punisher •• Phoebe Bridgers
#6: Set My Heart on Fire Immediately •• Perfume Genius
#7: Saint Cloud •• Waxahatchee
#8: Heaven to a Tortured Mind •• Yves Tumor
#9: Women in Music Pt. III •• HAIM
#10: Rough and Rowdy Ways •• Bob Dylan
I also have a fun, unranked albums list brewing. I’ll release that at the very end of the year.
