Hi apologies if this has been asked before but do you have any advice for anyone else who wants to make an independent wiki? me and a lot of other people are getting sick and tired of our fandom wikia especially with how much information is on it and I was looking for advice

Hi changeling-droneco, that is a wonderful question! We will answer the best that we can and offer our own journey into being independent. For this first part, we will assume that you'd be hosting the wiki yourself.

As with most things, running an independent wiki by your lonesome costs money, which can increase depending on the size and scope of the wiki. You'll want a solid income to fall back on. For us, our overseer pays for all of the hosting, servers and domain out of pocket. Other independent wikis might also run non-obtrusive ads, typically on the main page only, or rely completely on donations.

You, or someone you know, needs to have the technical expertise necessary to manage and maintain a server. You also need to have the storage space necessary to host all the wiki pages and files. For us, we're on a virtual server with 800k individual files allocated to us.

If this is not an option for you, there are alternatives! One is Miraheze, which an ad-free, donation-run, open-source wikifarm run entirely by volunteers. Unlike company that shall not be named, Miraheze allows you to practically do everything you could do if you were hosting by yourself without all the obtrusiveness. One thing to note is that Miraheze wikis need to remain active. If there are no edits in a certain timeframe, the wiki will be marked as inactive, which can be negated by making an edit.

There are also other independent wiki or wiki alliances that can assist greatly! You'll want to look towards the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance and the Gaming Wiki Network. These groups are experienced with running wikis and will definitely be able to help and answer any of the intricacies involved with running a wiki. You'd want to join their Discord communities for further information; they'll be incredibly happy to work with you and we're proud to be a part of both, as an affiliate and a member respectively!

We hope that this helps out and that our words inspire others to look towards starting their own independent wikis! It is never too late to begin the fight against the company the shall not be named.

plot: gwyn has a manipulative boyfriend that doesn't work, so on the weekends when she isn't working he has her go out and sleep with rich men, to steal their wallets and valuables and disappear the next morning, to sustain the fact he doesn't work but your muse was too nice and there's something about them, so gwyn for once, cracks and warns your muse. it could go many ways! open to m, 21+, i'd be very down for age gaps too.

I am SUPER late on commenting the ep 6 of New Gen because I need to collect as many gems as I need for the special scene so here I am😭😭😭 the episode overall is very nice and we get to ride many things. On my third account I play Thomas route, the special scene where we are trying the Mega-Catapult is very cute😭😭😭😭 he's so cute trying to reassure us🥺🥺 I feel like he's the cutest one between the guys ㅠㅠ (of course I can't speak for Amanda since I'm not on her route). The special scene with Roy is also cute but it's more "childish" compared to Thomas who, as I said, tried to reassure us, letting us hold his arm and hand. Anyway I had fun with Roy on the merry-go-round and it was cute when he said he wants to make us happy🥲 anyway in one thing I'm disappointed just like many of you are: JASON!!😭 Besides the fact that he always catches us in a not so glorious moment, I wanted him to catch me so bad in the mirror maze and make me do whatever he wanted as a dare, I wanted to know what was his dare so bad😩😩😩 and the way he calls me kitten😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 too bad we were interrupted😭 I need to be alone with him next time so no one can interrupt us and we can tease each other all the time and he can do whatever he wants to me😩😩😩 that's it, I'm not gonna say more, I'll just keep imagining the different situations we could be in with Jason and be delulu all the time😭

Short answer: No, it isn't. Not really if we want to assume every mini reaction of Azriel's shadows, including let's say - him taking a bath or stretching a muscle and a shadow flexing -, it's supposed to mean something... It doesn't. Context, Intend and Repetitive behavior matters.

None of that scenes the gwynriel point out was the shadows showing unnatural reactions at all, and they seem to forget Az isn't the shadows... THEY are an extension of him that just helps with his job, and only seem to react more sentient when he's having strong emotions.

Also??? He was NOT calm on some of those scenes? first of all, Crickets. Him "smiling grimly" and stepping silently around a room where nesta/cass/etc are chilling doesn't scream "oh that's him being serene and in peace" to me, much less when he's in Rhys presence about to receive orders or talk about missions and shit. They also did a self own mentioning their caressing on feyre's face btw. How are you gonna talk about the ribbon scene being cute when his sister in-law, apparently, gains more reactions from his shadows that the ginger did??... Laugh Out Loud
