GW2 Unused dialogue: Flirty lines?
So here's a fun one ;)
During my deep dive into the Living World S1 related dialogue lines in the game, I stumbled across a flirty line from Jory that I hadn't heard before. I didn't think much of it at the time, since several of her regular lines are rather flirty. But then I found one for Braham. And then Rox. And then I started to pay attention.
For most characters, there are blocks of what I like to call 'generic' lines. These blocks tend to be separate from the story-specific lines and ambient conversations, and include things like event-related chatter (let's go, follow me, go on ahead, etc), greetings, yes/no, calls for help, battle cries, etc. And I noticed some of the "thank you"/gratitude lines were almost always preceded by some kind of flirty line (and a few aren't, it's kinda messy haha). So I ran through all the other characters and pulled what I could find.
Not all named characters seem to have these though, and I might have missed one or two that weren't obviously flirty. There's also a chance that some of these are part of ambient conversations I'm not aware of, but most ambient conversations tend to be separate, so I dunno. Like I said; kinda messy.
I've separated them into two groups: Named NPCs and un-named NPCs
Marjory Delaqua: "Mmm, mm, mmm. You can walk into my bar any old time." Braham: "You'd look great in a bear skin." Rox: "I like you almost as much as meat!" Magnus the Bloody Handed: "You look like a kindred spirit. You like winter sports?" Evon Gnashblade: "You like gold? Jewels? I bet you do." Vorpp: "Hello beautiful. Are there anymore at home like you?" Scarlet Briar: "Hello, you're pretty cute. For a drone." Captain Mai Trin: "Do you have what it takes to be my First Mate?" Magister Tassi: "What do you say? You, me, a little romantic stroll through the library, hmm?" Mad King Thorn: "Heey! How would you like to be queen for a day?" Bloody Prince Thorn: "Mmm, you're as luscious as blood in the moonlight."
Lionguard 1: "Hey, good lookin'." Lionguard 2: "My shift's about to end, how about a drink?" Aetherblade 1: "Hey baby, wanna ride on an airship?" Aetherblade 2: "I'm all business. But I'm all pleasure too." Aetherblade 3: "Hey there, hot stuff." Zephyrite 1: "I feel a spark between us." Zephyrite 2: "You outshine the sun." Zephyrite 3: "Did I see a glint in your eye?" Zephyrite 4: "I feel balanced, now that you're here."

To add to the dialogue point: I am absolutely in love with how real the world feels.
In some places, the open world dialogue is so simple and relatable and humorous or mundane and it just feels so much more alive because of it. That DR npc discussing who would win in a fight between Melandru and Grenth? Absolutely spectacular. Granted, I don't play many fantasy themed games outside of GW2, but this simple mundaneness of the dialogue in casual places really brings it to life because not everyone in the world is going to be obsessed with the local politics or newest world crisis. Sometimes, people just have elaborate conversations on the dumbest of things and GW2 reflects that. You get anything from:
- soldiers discussing how to dump an unfaithful boyfriend
- kids being kids and just having a little adventure the moment their babysitter takes their eyes off them.
- idle discussion of hunting tactics or how much they want to set something on fire.
- a daily routine of poetic exchange between two shift workers
- a farmer reminding herself how every life is valuable even if some larvae are greatly annoying her.
- a warden having fun with his pet dog while training her and playing dead, to which the dog mimics.
- there's even a child who gets his ball stuck in a tree who you can help out who cheers when you get the ball down.
But despite this lightheartedness, the dialogue can be dark and somber. Verdant Brink is a fantastic example of this. Spend some time at the main Pact Camp and you can tell how dire of a situation it is, especially for the Sylvari soldiers. There's a man in the Desolation desperately searching for his child who's gone missing; charr soldiers discussing a lost loved one in Drizzlewood Coast; an asura nursing the pact soldiers in Auric Basin, refusing to let anyone she can help die without a fight. (this same asura has extra detail added to her depending on your character's choice in base game personal story).
Even enemy npcs have idle dialogue while no one's attacking them and that honestly feels really unique to me in this world. I've heard inquest complain about their favorite coffee mug being broken or nightmare court training their hounds to hunt innocent rabbits. Enemy npcs have idle animations and I'm fascinated by it because maybe if I don't disturb them, a modrem will simply sit and idlely enjoy the scenery or orrian risen farmers will continue to try and farm where their fields used to be.
And this is just the dialogue. As OP points out, the events are dynamic and affect the map's environment. If a defense event fails, a camp might be overtaken by enemies and require recapturing with a later event. If an escort fails, you might have to bail those npcs out of a cage or a trap. One of the biggest examples of this I can think of would be map wide Meta Events. If Octovine fails, an Exalted is sacrified and their comrades mourn them. If New Kaineng fails, the power system goes wack and visually you can see New Kaineng's lights flickering or the teleporters will be unusable.
Beyond this, there's other details that seem small but add a surprising amount of life to Tyria. If you join the Order of Whispers, there's npcs scattered across the world who give you "secret" dialogue options. There's books and interactables nearly everywhere you go. Some are tied to an achievement, but many aren't, and you can gleam lore from them to build an understanding of the past even if you haven't played the first game. There's cute things like baby quaggans following you out of curiosity or being able to help a scared desert fox, heck, you get to raise your own mount at one point and you can physically see the baby getting bigger or being happy to see you. There's jumping puzzles and dumb hero points like the toxic bacon because the devs know we're players who let curiosity get the better of us or want to shove inedible things in our mouths.
My point is, Tyria feels rich with life. If I open the game and decide to simply wander the world on a whim, I can immerse myself into this world naturally because it is it's own world. It doesn't quite feel like simply a story I'm filling out or a world where the only thing on people's minds are how the world is facing a major crisis. There's normal people living their lives, just as there are soldiers trying to protect those lives, and enemies who are trying to destory those lives. There's a side to everyone's story in this world, no matter how old this story may be for some characters. These characters have relationships and history, and they all have their personal worries and goals.
This world, Tyria, is alive.
things I appreciate about gw2:
- silly quests where you’re transformed into or disguised as various things. I just spent some time running around as a pig yesterday, it reminds me of the quests in lotro where you’re a chicken
- all the map completion
- progressing events on the map that temporarily affect it, like bridges being torn down
- sometimes an event has a whole little chain depending on if you succeed or fail. fighting off an attack might lead to repairing an outpost and then assembling a team to take out an important enemy or structure. or failing to defend a bridge means protecting the engineers that come along to fix it
- just the general richness of each area with npcs and ambient dialogue, many moving around and doing their own things

GW2 Season 1 unused dialogue: "Rox, your devourer–"
Tumblr media
Just another little something I stumbled across while poking in the game files.
During the Season 1 story step A Moment's Peace (known as Connecting the Pieces in the current release) there's an exchange between Rox and Braham in which goes as follows:
Braham: Rox, your devourer- Rox: Chewed on your axe handle. I know. Sorry.
Well, it turns out that there are several other possible responses from Rox about Frostbite's shenanigans which were recorded and apparently never used.
Braham: Rox, your devourer- Rox: Chewed on your axe handle. I know. Sorry. Rox: Peed on your pack. I know. Sorry. Rox: Ate your breakfast. I know. He puked it up on my pack. Rox: Buried his favourite rock under your sleeping mat. I know. It means he likes you. Rox: Jumped out at you from behind a tree, I know. He just wants to play. Rox: Followed you out behind the bush, I– oh. And watched? *ahem* Sorry. Rox: Drooled in your boot. I know. What can I say? He likes the smell of feet!

Living World Season 1: changes and unused dialogue for Mai Trin
Tumblr media
I saw a very long post cross my dash recently, about changes to the 2022 Return to Season 1 compared with the original 2013 release, plus a late addition that briefly touches on one thing that's been bothering me ever since I encountered it:
The complete revision of Mai Trin's dialogue in Season 1
Fortunately, I have been spending the past few weeks poking around in the game, the Wiki, and the game files themselves to put together a comprehensive list and comparison of all the changes to Mai's spoken dialogue.
Including audio comparisons!
And a lot of bonus unused dialogue!
(very long post, so it's under the cut!)
Back in 2013, Mai Trin was voiced by Rachel Robinson (also the old voice of Rox), but in EoD she's voiced by Kelly Hu. For the return of Season 1, all of Mai's season 1 story dialogue was re-recorded with the new VA. And I don't think this has happened to any other character that has had a VA update?
I've listed everything here in story order. For audio tracks featuring both VAs, the old one is first, followed by the new. Includes transcript below each audio file.

Ceremony & Acrimony: comparison of dialogue between Mai and Kiel after the effigy explodes
-- Old dialogue -- Mai Trin: Lionguard, what can I do? I have some skill at healing. Inspector Ellen Kiel: See if you can help the charr cultural rep. He's injured and not moving. Mai Trin: I'll do what I can.
-- New dialogue -- Citizen: Who needs assistance? Inspector Ellen Kiel: See if you can help the charr cultural rep. He's injured and not moving. Citizen: I'll do what I can.
Tumblr media
Hard Boiled: comparison of dialogue between Mai, Jory, and Kiel during the investigation
-- Old dialogue -- Mai Trin: I beg your pardon. Marjory Delaqua: Don't fret. you'll come to no harm unless you had a hand in what happened. Hm, she's glowing. Marjory Delaqua: All right, lady. You better start talkin' Mai Trin: What? I...I swear. I had nothing to do with that tragedy. I'm an upstanding citizen. Investigator Ellen Kiel: Wait. Could she have gotten it from the dead charr that glowed? She attempted to revive him. Mai Trin: Yes, yes. That must be it. I was only trying to help.
-- New dialogue -- Citizen/Mai Trin: You must be kidding. Marjory Delaqua: Don't fret. you'll come to no harm unless you had a hand in what happened. Hm, she's glowing. Marjory Delaqua: All right, lady. You better start talkin'. Citizen/Mai Trin: Are you accusing me? Investigator Ellen Kiel: Wait. Could she have gotten it from the dead charr that glowed? She attempted to revive him. Citizen/Mai Trin: The detective would know that too, if she paid better attention to her crime scene.
Tumblr media
No More Secrets: comparison of dialogue when Kiel tries to arrest Mai.
--Old Dialogue-- Investigator Ellen Kiel: Mai Trin, you're under arrest, by Lionguard authority. You will present yourself- Mai Trin: If it weren't for that detective and her cronies, you'd never have known it was me. Mai Trin: (laugh) My plan was to open a seat on the council so I could fill it. Now, it's to punish you all for spoiling my first one. Mai Trin: Come out, my clockwork crew! Let's show them what it feels like to be impaled on the sharp tip of misfortune.
-- New dialogue -- Mai Trin: Marjory Delaqua. I'll remember that. Investigator Ellen Kiel: Mai Trin, you're under arrest, by Lionguard authority. You will present yourself- Mai Trin: So much for discretion. Mai Trin: Crew! It's time to earn your pay.

Aetherblade Retreat: comparison of dialogue between Mai and Horrik before the final fight
-- Old dialogue -- Mai Trin: This has all gone to crud. Scarlet's gonna have my noggin for screwing this up. Champion First Mate Horrik: What now, Captain? It'll take cannonballs to get out of here alive. Mai Trin: Either way, I'm dead. So let's wind our springs and ride this escapement to the end. Champion First Mate Horrik: You got it. I'll undock the airships. Mai Trin: You and your brothers give good battle, old friend. Now, let's dig in before they show. I'll raise the gangplanks.
-- New dialogue -- Mai Trin: Scarlet's gonna have my skull. Champion First Mate Horrik: What now, Captain? It'll take cannonballs to get out of here alive. Mai Trin: I'm dead either way. Might as well strap in for a decent fight. Champion First Mate Horrik: You got it. I'll undock the airships. Mai Trin: I'll raise the gangplanks.

Aetherblade Retreat: comparison of Mai's boss encounter dialogue during and after the fight
Mai Trin: This is what your curiosity gets you. (old v new) Mai Trin: Horrik! Unleash the cannons. (old v new) Mai Trin: No more half-measures. All hands on deck! (old v new) Mai Trin: Enough! You've won. Give me quarter and I'll tell you everything. / Enough! You've won. Next time just ask a little nicer. (old v new)
Tumblr media
Interlude:
Between the original release of Sky Pirates and Edge of the Mists, Mai could be spoken with in her cell in Fort Marriner. This part wasn't brought back for the re-release, but the Wiki still has the dialogue:
Tumblr media
Edge of the Mists: The Juncture
A hologram of Mai appears every half minute or so, saying one of several lines at random. The GW2 Wiki seems to have only a few of these documented.
-- Old dialogue -- Captain Mai Trin: Aetherblades, muster up! Scarlet wants this whole region conquered and ready for her when she returns. Captain Mai Trin: Aetherblades, muster up! We can't claim this territory if we don't control it. Move out and start conquering. Captain Mai Trin: Until Scarlet arrives, this is our new base of operations. I want Aetherblades controlling each and every sector. Captain Mai Trin: Until further notice, this is our new base of operations. I want Aetherblades controlling each and every sector. Captain Mai Trin: Scarlet wants this space and so do I. Even if she never comes back, I plan to be here for a good long while. Captain Mai Trin: Dig in and get comfortable Aetherblades. I plan for us to be here for a good long while. Captain Mai Trin: I'm not just a pirate captain anymore. Until Scarlet comes back, I'm the governor too. Captain Mai Trin: I'm not just a pirate captain anymore. Around here, I'm the governor too. Captain Mai Trin: Scarlet's planning something big and controlling this area is essential to it. Move out and start pacifying the locals.
(I don't have audio for the new lines here, Gw2Browser won't load these specific updated lines for some reason and I don't have time to sit around in EotM. I'll just trust the Wiki on this one, but there's probably a few extra undocumented lines to go here.)
-- New dialogue -- Captain Mai Trin: Dig in and get comfortable Aetherblades. We're gonna be here for a while. Captain Mai Trin: Don't let your guard down. Captain Mai Trin: We won't let Scarlet down. Captain Mai Trin: Eyes up Aetherblades.
~~ Unused lines ~~
I was first made aware of these in a post made about a year ago by Reddit user e-scrape-artist, and I decided to poke around in the files myself. Turns out there's a huge amount of unused dialogue in the game, from multiple characters across the whole season.
These first few sound a lot like NPC interaction dialogues. Except this is Mai Trin, so it's possibly a different scenario where we originally meet her character before it was scrapped?
Mai Trin: The sky’s the limit. Mai Trin: I’m in the shipping business. Mai Trin: Ah, the smell of the sea and the sky. Mai Trin: You have my attention. Mai Trin: Lion’s Arch is just the beginning for me.
What's more interesting than unused lines?
Unused lines that get re-recorded with a new VA and still don't get used.
Some of these are found alongside the previous unused lines, while the others are bundled in with the Aetherblade Retreat boss encounter lines. Maybe the extra combat lines are intended to play but they never triggered due to a bug or something?
Mai Trin: Ready the ship. We’ve outstayed our welcome. (old v new) Mai Trin: You just had to tamper with the plan didn’t you? (old v new) Mai Trin: Come on out, I’ll make it quick. (old v new) Mai Trin: To your captain's side! (old v new) Mai Trin: Fresh meat gang! Slice them to pieces! (old v new) Mai Trin: Dead like that councillor, serves you right. / Dead. Just like that councillor. (old v new) Mai Trin: I’m wound down. You got me. (old v new)
But wait, there's more!
What's more interesting than re-recording unused lines?
Re-recording unused lines for content that was never implemented in the first place.
Wait, what?
Sooo...when I was looking for Mai's EotM lines in the game files, I stumbled across something pretty significant. There's several hundred lines involving various Aetherblade characters in Edge of the Mists plus two Lionguard officers and apparently Vorpp too?
A lot of it seem to be event dialogue; for collection events, escorts, orders to attack/defend keeps and towers. But anyone who's spent time in EotM knows that none of the events involve Aetherblades, just generic NPCs with barely any voiced lines.
EDIT: According to @konig-varorson there were some open-world portal events involving Aetherblades and Lionguard during the initial release, so those lines were in the game at some point. But the lines spoken by the Aetherblades and Mai Trin inside the Mists appears to be completely unused? I plan to do more research into this.
Were the Aetherblades originally planned to have a bigger role in the events there? I dunno. But some of the lines are pretty interesting.
67 of these lines are spoken by Mai (not including the Juncture lines) and here's just under half of them.
Mai Trin: I knew prison couldn't hold me. Mai Trin: It's good to have a gang again. Mai Trin: This place is ripe for the picking. Mai Trin: I worked hard for this place, don't lose it. Mai Trin: I knew you were a bilge rat. Mai Trin: See that? That'll be mine one day. Mai Trin: I have a job that needs doing and I need volunteers. Good pay, plenty of violence. Mai Trin: An impressive haul. This should be plenty. For now. Mai Trin: Follow me, I need your help with this. Mai Trin: Stay close to me. I don't have time for stragglers. Mai Trin: You have your instructions, go to it. Make me proud. Mai Trin: I'm going to find out who screwed this up and slit their skin off. Mai Trin: Wrap it up, we have work elsewhere. Mai Trin: This is what I like to see. Mai Trin: Listen, I don't wanna lose this place. Protect it. Now. Mai Trin: You have my...thanks. Mai Trin: Take care of yourself. Don't get robbed or anything. Mai Trin: You look like warmed over flotsam. Mai Trin: Yes. (laugh) Oh my, yes. Mai Trin: Do you have what it takes to be my first mate? ;) Mai Trin: Do better. I'm not going back to prison. Mai Trin: Your captain is pleased. Mai Trin: Let's move. This place isn't gonna rob itself. Mai Trin (hologram): I want that tower. Kill everyone inside. Mai Trin (hologram): No-one takes this tower from us. No-one. Mai Trin (hologram): Your captain wants that keep. Mai Trin (hologram): We have intruders. Show them what Aetherblades can do. Mai Trin (hologram): Rattle the gates. Let them know Captain Mai is here. Mai Trin (hologram): Crack the walls, I smell riches inside. Mai Trin (hologram): Sea or sky, I can sail anywhere.
Six of the unused lines were re-recorded with the new VA:
Mai Trin: Dispose of the bodies. (old v new) Mai Trin: Ugh, get me up. (old v new) Mai Trin: We're overwhelmed, pull back! (old v new) Mai Trin: Come over here and protect your captain. / Protect your captain! (old v new) Mai Trin: Cut them down, no quarter. (old v new) Mai Trin: C'mere, I won't bite. (old v new)
Little side note: I think Mai's EotM-based lines sound a little different compared to the Sky Pirates chapter, like the old VA is slightly leaning into her Rox voice in some areas?
Anyway, I think that's all I have on Mai Trin's dialogue changes. Did I miss anything? I know there's some text lines I didn't include, but I was focusing on the voiced lines. Do you prefer Mai's old VA or the new one?
If anyone's interested in other unused/undocumented lines, I plan to post some unused Horrik and Canach lines I found, as well as the other Aetherblades in the Mists.
But now I think I need a nap

Adventures in digging through old GW2 files
A little while ago I made a few posts about old/unused dialogue I found in the game files from the original release of Living World Season 1
Since then I've made the dumb decision to try and transcribe everything I can find from that old block of S1 dialogue, just to see what's there. I'm nowhere near finished, but I have made a few interesting observations along the way:
The order of the dialogue lines is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes a conversation between two characters will exist in full and all together as you'd expect. But sometimes you'll find, for example, all of Rytlock's lines for a specific conversation all together, with Rox's lines from that same conversation waaaay further down past a mess of mixed up NPC lines. Some lines from a specific patch appear among lines for previous patches, but others don't? There doesn't seem to be a logical structure to any of this.
Some lines are, unfortunately, completely missing. I first suspected this when I noticed regular gaps in the list of file ID numbers, then later while comparing the lines I find to the wiki pages for each release, and occasionally I see documented conversations that are only partly, or not at all, in the game files anymore. I'm going to guess that this is the result of the original release being temporary, and that some files have been overwritten/removed long before Anet decided to bring back S1. I'd need a much older version of the game file to double-check that.
The PvP announcer guy has lines mentioning capture points that don't exist in current PvP maps. Maybe they had plans for more maps? These points include: an arena, a pit, cages, roots, a tree, a cave, a library, a garden, and a tower
Many major and some minor characters have a flirty line among their blocks of generic dialogue. I have no idea why these exist, but I reckon a compilation of these is something Tumblr will be interested in ;)
Aetherblades in the Edge of the Mists asking important questions such as: "This is the Mists, right? So I never know if the suckers I kill here are already dead?" and "Why don't you ever see baby Kodan?"
There's also a few conversations between Kas, Jory, and Logan in the Dead End bar that I don't recall being in game, and aren't on the wiki. Might make a post about those too?
Remember the last part of the Mai Trin dialogue post where I mentioned she has a whole bunch of unused allied event-related dialogue? Scarlet has those too. And Mad King Thorn. And a bunch of other characters too. Not sure why these exist, but it's kinda funny hearing villains like Scarlet speak like they're an ally
The line "Wow, that's quality armor!" is actually from Season 1, not Heart of Thorns! It's part of several conversations between a norn, human, two asura, and a sylvari as they travel to different cities, check out the crafters, and talk about current events. I really want to make a post about all of this too
The irony of spending most of my work day staring at a spreadsheet, then coming home and spending my free time staring at a spreadsheet, for fun and documenting old game stuff

Living World Season 1: unused dialogue for Frizz and Horrik
Tumblr media
Just a couple of unused lines I found in the game files for the two boss encounters in the Aetherblade Retreat at the end of the original Dragon Bash/Sky Pirates release.
Frizz
There are only two unused lines I found for Frizz, and both of them sound rather jokey, so I can understand why they were cut
Frizz: Oh, that's just barbaric. He was a friend, you know! Frizz: How shocking! No, wait, wait-wait, I can do better. I got a charge out of that! Uh, I'm bad at this.
First Mate Horrik
Horrik has a significant amount of unused lines here, so I'm going to stand by what I said in the Mai Trin post; I think there's some bug that's stopping some of these lines from playing. Because it just seems weird that Frizz would have 8 lines total for his battle, while Mai and Horrik only say one or two lines each for their entire fight.
First Mate Horrik: You mess with the captain, you mess with me. First Mate Horrik: Bother someone else. First Mate Horrik: Keep walking landlubber. First Mate Horrik: I got a cannonball with your name on it. First Mate Horrik: Get over here and help me! First Mate Horrik: Captain...* First Mate Horrik: Opening fire! First Mate Horrik: Another landlubber broken. First Mate Horrik: Should check on the captain. First Mate Horrik: I smell troublemakers! First Mate Horrik: (laugh) Catch! First Mate Horrik: Smash, smash, smash! First Mate Horrik: No surrender, no quarter. First Mate Horrik: Leave the bodies as a warning (laugh) First Mate Horrik: You're making this worse for yourselves! First Mate Horrik: I'm gonna take you all with me!
* I know the “Captain…” line is not technically unused since it plays in the fractal, but it doesn’t play in the story so I’ve included it here.

Guild Wars 2 dialogue: The Queen's Gauntlet announcer NPC (all lines)
Tumblr media
With the Festival of the Four Winds coming to an end soon, I figured I'd make another "stuff I found in the game files" post. So this one is about the 37 dialogue lines I found for the announcer of the Queen's Gauntlet.
At the time of posting this, only 8 of these lines are documented on the wiki (I count the countdown as a single line). The other 29 lines not currently documented, but I have heard a few of them while playing and listening to streams/Youtube vids.
I've thrown all of them together anyway, and put an asterisk next to the one's I've heard in-game. Let me know if I've missed any!
Announcer: Welcome one and all to your fabulous Crown Pavilion! Announcer: Who's ready for some gratuitous violence! Announcer: We have a new challenger! * Announcer: Here's an up and coming fighter, back for more! * Announcer: This competitor continues to impress, but can they keep it up? * Announcer: Always a pleasure to welcome this veteran contender back to our arena. * Announcer: You know this superstar by now. Let's hear it! * Announcer: Uh-oh! Here it comes! Announcer: They better get clear, or they're gonna get smeared! Announcer: This next hit could be the finishing blow. Announcer: Oh, that's gonna leave a mess. Announcer: Notify their next of kin, and get a mop! Announcer: Hands together for our champion! Announcer: What skilful execution. I'd keep an eye on this one. Announcer: Good show, what a competitor! Announcer: Let's see if our challenger is skilled at leaping! Announcer: We're about to see if our competitor is light on their feet! Announcer: Our challenger had better wrap things up quick. * Announcer: Not much time left. Can our challenger make it? * Announcer: Five, four, three, two, one! * Announcer: Oh, that must have hurt! * Announcer: I think I felt that one. * Announcer: Oh, it's a massacre down there! * Announcer: A beating this bad should be illegal! * Announcer: Let's see some fancy footwork now! Announcer: Doesn't look like the direct approach will work. Announcer: Oh, how will our competitor handle the shielding? Announcer: Oh, hardly seem like a fair fight does it? Announcer: Just what I like to see; a one on one match. May our best fighter win! Announcer: Outnumbered, but never outclassed. Clap your hands! Announcer: Oh, I think our competitor's gonna have to get creative here. Announcer: Our challenger had better start thinking outside the box, unless they wanna leave in one! Announcer: If our competitor doesn't use everything at hand, this could be over soon. Announcer: Let's see what our challenger can dish out now. Announcer: Things are getting serious down there. Announcer: What an unexpected turn of events! Announcer: Looks like we're about the see something new!
And here's an added bonus: when you interact with the NPC, the greeting lines you get are in a completely different voice compared to the rest of the announcer lines. But there are a few lines in the game files which could be the intended greetings for this character, and they don't play for some reason? I'll leave them here anyway.
Excelsior! Having fun I trust? Quite a place isn't it? Please, I'm on break No autographs please
