Vekk is young by Asuran standards but is unequaled in his knowledge of the Asura Gate network. He is skilled with magic and more than willing to risk his life…and yours…to keep his people safe.

I wanted to have something fun to take to Granite State for Mr. Maurice LaMarche to sign, and sure, I could've gone with anything else artwise... but I felt like Vekk would be fun, even if he doesn't remember playing our earliest asuran companion.

I was hoping for a better story development after EoD as it was a huge dissappointment for Gw1 and Gw2 lore fans like me. Unfortunetely SotO made it even worse and at this point I don't see a bright future for Guild Wars' story anymore. Damage has been done.

It hurts a lot because Gw2 has been my virtual home for 10+ years and I loved the extensive and unique lore so much that I created solely art and videos about Gw2 for 10+ years.

The original narrative team is already long gone, but I will cherish their hard work and their vision for a game that they helped developing for all these years.

Funny enough, he didn't recognize his look bc he said he doesn't often get to see the characters! So I said he was from Guild Wars 1 and he goes "Oh Vekk! I always pictured him looking older and more wisened…"
