On the topic of Lunith break up.

Lunith break up would have done so much service to Gacha Resort's plot.

Imagine they had a bitter break up (initiated by Lilith) before the events of GR:

Lilith running a love hotel? The girl needs a source of income after she dropped her sugar god-dy.

Luni doesn't bring up the fusion form right after Summoner and Ellie lose power to the ultimate record? She knows Lilith wouldn't comply easily.

Lunith splitting apart due to being depowered? Nah, we don't do that here. Instead have Lilith get offended by an arrogant Luni's comment right after defeating Kakui which then leads to Lilith barking back at Luni by trashing talking her duckie which successfully pisses Luni off. They quarrel even after splitting apart, and after getting thrown out of the realm agree that fusion was a horrible idea.

Heck! Cupid being upset about something? Cyko and Phantom? Nah we don't bother them. Instead, it's Luni and Lilith's break up she's upset about since she always saw them as the ultimate loving couple and can't comprehend why they would ever break up. Her five levels are just her going through the five stages of grief, which results in her finally coming to terms with the fact that not all happy couples have a "happily ever after". This is where Ellie can come in to say that some couples still need her help to get together, and even though they may not end up together, a relationship is still a learning experience the individuals involved can learn and grow from. Thus, Cupid is cheered up in a more meaningful way.

Bonus hinted Lithsuko:

Mitsuko sending the Summoner off to check with Lilith? Lilith being able to sense darkness is the secondary reason. The primary one is to make sure she isn't feeling too down. She's worried about Lilith ever since she heard the news about her break up. In fact, Mitsuko was the first person Lilith came to immediately after the drama.

Mitsuko: Ah, also, would you mind taking these homemade dumplings to her? She always looks happier snacking on them.

May I also be allowed to dump my headcannon here about how I believe the original Lilith did get erased and is permanently gone but Luni swiftly created a new Lilith with the memories of old Lilith and tried to cover up the whole thing by saying she just teleported her away since she believes that's how she'll redeem herself. Something along the lines of, "Oh, it wasn't that bad, and I had reasons. And hey, look, there's a greater evil here! He's killing people. And I didn't actually kill anyone, right? Right? :)" trying to sugarcoat everything she did, while refusing to see what she did wrong during the events of GM, which led to... whatever her route was.

Like, after GW, she does want to change her behaviour, but she's not doing it correctly, aka owning up to being a terrible person.

Honestly, it's reasonable that a creator would be detached from their creation. But Luni "I'm not like other creators" seems to refuse to admit she also has that problem, lest that the people whom she does want to be friends with leave her out of fear and disgust.

But, oh no, that would make Lucas' persona... *gasps* a bad bad person, a no-good creator.

creator luni couldve been so cool if she wasnt a semi oc semi persona and thus not allowed to be meaningfully flawed lest you hurt lucas' feewings

This is game supposedly created by Luni. This chapter mentions Luni is not what she seems. Everyone here is from Ren's world and they recognize the game title. Theyre in the games style of outfit.

-“Your mama’s like super worried about you dude. She said she wasn’t able to reach you in the last few months.”

-Hes very down to business. Atom has mentioned Ren a few times, so he notices them.

-He finally explains that during their 2nd year of college, his friend Luna went missing. He thinks this game might have something to do with it. He even bought the game at a bid to get it.

-This is the first time Ren is Incredibly serious.

-She went corrupted when she learned her situation.

-its revealed she was kidnapped for a virtual reality experiment. She's been missing for a year and a half. She was first one to be put in the game, hence why all her friends saw her here.

-She thinks she's doomed and that no one here will save her.

-“Him…and that…that lad…no…she’s not a human…that monster put me here…”

-The end scene is everyone hugging. Cele asks if Luna knows where she is, she tells them.

-Ellie says something but Ren doesn’t here it. (“She has the power to get to the over world…”)

I'm honestly surprised that I haven't uploaded these here until now. Then again, I drew these back in August of 2022 and didn't create my Tumblr account until November of the same year, so I might've just forgotten to do so. Nevertheless, here they are now after two years and almost two months!

In August of 2022, I had an idea regarding one of my favorite Lunime games, Gacha World. I noticed that many of the characters in Gacha World didn't get a chibi version of themself as a collectible pet in Gacha Studio, so I drew some rough doodles of my interpretations of a few characters' chibis. I plan to draw more chibi designs for GW characters and possibly for a few Anime Gacha and Gacha Resort characters (at least, the ones that weren't already featured in Gacha World). I can't wait to show you them once they're complete, and until then, I hope you enjoy what I have so far! 😊💜

mulling some stuff over and the recent timeline theory I rbed had me thinking- might have to modify the date of when characters were spawned in redux au.

First big one is I'll most likely have to make Phantom a late-stage release, with a purpose to combat Corrupted Units. Another Creator in redux would have snuck him into the code without Luni noticing

This also means Phantom will have trouble getting along with other Units because he's new and mysterious, making him look aloof and distant as similar to his personality in canon, but with more anxiety. classical music is still a comfort for him since many pieces have a consistent tempo for him to focus on (Cyko finds similar comfort in EDM* lol)

Additionally, Reaperess Magy will be promoted to a similar role but still has the training program to run

I'm slowly adding to the roster of Units that were sacrificed to the Corrupted army that Luni is building during the first Corruption Event and delegating most of the canon GW guest/cameo/volunteer designs to the Corrupted army by default if they don't get designs (sorry Nyxeria Luiselle- you're too stereotypical for me to feel comfortable fixing) so that I don't get anyone on my ass about changing them.

GW in this case will be unrelated to any of the other canons and as such, any characters exclusive to those canons will not be involved (sorry senpaibuns, carolina, pandora, tela, myo- you get it). characters that are crossed over may reference those canons but the focus will be on GW.

*- we both quite enjoy EDM but a new one he also enjoys is phonk. I explained to a friend recently that I liked phonk bc 'the skipping in the music sounds like my brain skipping around and stopping in the middle of a train of thought before moving on' and we're both ADHD as hell lol

some more Redux!AU </3 feat more Corruption Event lore

CW: child neglect, abuse, homelessness, oppressive violence

‘Children running amok’ from my previous headcanon post was very tragically true. When Gacha World as a game was officially published, characters spawned into sentience and were designated physical ages (following the headcanons mentioned here). By all technicality, the adults and kids are chronologically the same age, but some had faster and more development of their AI than others. This includes the ability to drive, average-to-advanced math and science, fine motor control, and social intelligence, among other aspects.

Child-designated characters did not have this luxury.

The 3- and select 4-star characters remained young, but unable to do much beyond play, most of them not having a parent or guardian to take care of them (luckily programs don’t need food).

Teens had cliques, but with no parental guidance, became bad influences to each other and had a hard time learning social skills. They also had a tendency to refuse help and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

The (first) Corruption Event was the point in time where all the Units realized they needed to look out for each other. Units were attacked and harassed into submission, some to the point of permadeath (where Corrupt!Creator Luni deleted their data and all traces of that Unit disappeared). Fellow Units would try to locate the deleted Unit in their memories and the names would never come up again; their face and body a forgettable silhouette.

The Creators are fickle, and a little self-centered, due to their abilities to bring huge sprawling worlds into existence. Only 5 exist, but Creations are (usually) only aware of their own Creator.

The Creators do not typically consider their AI lives often and see them as replaceable data*. Especially Creator Luni, who was overcome with the desire to be praised, worshiped, and glorified for very little developments in her worlds. Several of her worlds were left to rot and gather dust, like Gacha World, but she still demanded attention from her abandoned projects.

A council of other Creators finally noticed the mistreatment to Luni’s creations and interfered*, but not before she left GW near irreparable in her rage.

Lost, crushed, and emotionally numb, many children finally realized how lonely they really were.

As a clause in the Corruption Event Treaty, they demanded the ability to grow and learn, to no longer remain stagnant in their childish ignorance. Of course, some children still remain independent by choice, but they’re always encouraged to seek help whenever necessary. All Units were allowed to age at their own pace, but usually their peers would allow them to keep pace properly. Picking out birthdays was a very popular trend for a while :)

Holidays developed, and though they barely remembered the lost Units anymore, memorials are regularly held at the Fox shrine* as the more spiritual ask for protection.

This is actually genius. My own rewrite has Cheery being isekai'd with Aoi, Kuku and Kugari, but being separated somewhere in what I can assume is either an algorithm or sorting system.

Lolita is a great swap with Cheery, it makes a lot of sense. But I think Luni dodged that route since that'd make two healer units in one set.

Additionally, I think Elementia was the weakest chapter in GW. Gacha Woods/Kingdom were great because they were beginner levels, so to speak. The Xkour saga was absolutely banger, Vinyl City, Chibion and Neon City gave us a lot of potential lore and Gacha Moon was a little basic, if not completely overkill.

Elementia just seems to rush a very interesting concept for the sake of time working on the game.

so uh. replaying gw again and god elementia feels like such an afterthought lmao. esp right after xkour, one of the stronger chapters in this game.

Cykopath birth au thinkin again, more psychology/traumas focused and relationships

cyko prolly doesn’t hook up with anyone in this one- he is bi, but opening up to anyone will be real hard going until much later in life, if at all. I think he’ll be able to understand closeness as something human to want/need, but won’t understand how to get it beyond social interaction. at some point there might be someone he gets close to, but unsure how far I’m gonna let this be. he’d probably be more receptive to being a parental figure, but not a parent like my original redesigned version is. he’s had enough parenting young kids lol

that being said, since phantom is not even mentioned in Birth (from my memory), he’s probably off doing his own thing as depicted by GW canon lore, which is the classical DJ angle instead of what I lean more into (‘reaping’ souls and cleaning out corrupted/outdated data in game updates*). due to the differing natures of cyko’s and the other neon lunatics’ personalities to the rest of the cast through Birth, I can get away with thinking that the DJs will hardly interact with the NLs at all. sad for me, but eh gotta be different somehow

Magy will get close to cyko by proxy of having gone through a lot, but she will ultimately probably hook up with someone else (tela??). I would almost argue that she develops some disorder re: her scythes telepathically talking to her as a delusion, but it’s 1am and I can’t definitively say what that would be without further research. I like the idea of her always having that sort of ‘other voice�� that wasnt able to manifest until she obtained her scythes, and the voice was more clear as there became a tangible form. I imagine several other dissociative disorders came up from the high numbers of young children exposed to immediate, sudden trauma (though in Magy’s case, trauma does not always correlate to the development of dissociative disorders). anger issues, definitely, and also indecisiveness will be very common, since they were never allowed to make their own decisions in life and in general (pulling from my own case). i think having realistic consequences to the events transpired in Birth will make for an interesting interaction with Luni’s Corruption Event in GW in a way that’s different from my standard ‘redesigned’ version of canon

Along with the fight/flight/freeze coping mechanisms for trauma, there’s also issues of separation anxiety, especially between those who shared cells in Birth, among other defenses that lunime won’t discuss because its demographic is children and it wants to keep pretending it’s rated E.

sexual developments when they get older to have those types of relationships are not going to be discussed on this blog or ever, and people who pressure for that type of content will be blocked. mentioning this to lay down ground rules.

*more on this later. realized i still havent completely solidified my redesigned presences for most of the characters yet lol

Oh gosh, even one day I was thinking to do an GW AU Where some Gacha related people (for example an gachatuber called EmilyKitty) were the NPCs who you fight with the units you summon, in this case the NPCs of every Lunime game, Luni was replaced with Ellie, and when you fight with Luni (Ellie at this AU), The NPCs where the units you summon, UNORRIGINAL, ¿right?
