THE LAST TRUTH: the newest young adult adventure / drama hitting netflix screens near you! with a fresh cast of relatively young and talented unknowns ready to make their names on the small screen, interest is peaking from both viewers and the media. Add to that the powerhouse names backing the show, the quick greenlight, and the few familiar names who have added their names to the showas well, eyes are on the cast and how they plan on handeling their soon to be fame. but between work hours, parties, and relationships on set, will they be able to handle their new found fame?

INTERVIEWER:  we’re thrilled tonight be joined by fresh face star of the new netflix original show the last truth ; elsa  árnadalr — i’m sorry, am i saying that right?

“ yes! thank you. and thank you for having me! i’m so glad to be here.” 

INTERVIEWER: so can you tell us what the name of your character is?

“ i play aj kristensen — i can’t wait for you all to meet her. ”

INTERVIEWER: if you had to sum aj up in two or three tv tropes, what would they be?

“ oh, wow, uh. probably action girl and maybe smoking is cool — which really, i guess that’s up to you to determine, but aj sure thinks it is. ”

INTERVIEWER: what's her official role in the show?

“ aj is that bad influence, she’s apathetic to the whole thing, but finds herself drawn in eventually by the mystery of it all.”

INTERVIEWER: whats the biggest difference between you and your character

“ you know, the whole smoking thing aside, aj is definitely a lot cooler than i am. don’t laugh! i’m serious, ”  there’s a pause and laughter fills the studio,  “ no but really, she’s a lot more badass than i am. i can say that right? good. she’s super hardcore. ”

INTERVIEWER: whats one thing you want to the world to know about your character before the show comes out?

“ she’s not what you might think — and that’s all i can say. ”

     ❛   I don't know who took your snacks this time but it definitely wasn't me  , okay ? ❜ the little white lie slips from her lips . it wasn't a secret that mike hid snacks around the set and it definitely wasn't a secret that the whole cast && crew had stolen it at least once  , but sharpay was proud and kept it well hidden that she probably stole the most out of everyone .

name:  dean winchester age: twenty-seven  profession: PA ( production assistant ) duties: assisting with answering telephones, filing paperwork and data entry, arranging lunches, dinners, and transportation reservations, photocopying, general office administration, distributing production paperwork, helping prepare the set with all necessary equipment, assisting crew members. key skills: excellent communication skills, determined, enthusiastic, works well under pressure, administrative skills, organizational skills biggest weaknesses: easily distracted by the food on set, pulls pranks on cast and crew

dean was chanced with the PA job when he found himself in LA, partying with a few friends he’d known for years.  one of them who had already booked a hollywood film offered to help him find a job in the industry.  dean was hesitant to try it out, but after his friend pulled some strings, he was found in an interviewing chair with a couple of strangers sitting across from him.  despite his lack of experience in the field, his friend had convinced the producers from netflix to give him a chance, knowing that dean was capable to perform even without any background knowledge.  it took a couple of training sessions before he finally got the job, and he was utterly thrilled. however, he was certain that on top of all, one of the reasons he got so lucky was because it benefited his bosses, too, as he would be getting less than the average salary of any other PA.  

for the time being, he couldn’t complain, as he could still manage to pay the bills. his job wasn’t as bad as he would expect it, either.  as he got to learn each of the person involved on set, he soon realized that they should all be enjoying their time there and make the most of it.  that was when he became the most notorious prankster on set who made most of them laugh, while some didn’t always appreciate his humor.  

while he does have his fun every time he shows up for work, dean always makes sure that everything work-related runs smoothly.

name: gwen stacy age: 19 profession: stage manager duties: keeps track of schedules, scripts, props, and living props (AKA actors). also calls lighting and sound cues, makes sure all the equipment is working, makes sure actors are presentable and that the set is clean, and deals with technical issues, if there are any. working on: the last truth

Gwen knows she’s a little young to be a stage manager, to the point where people might suspect nepotism or sleeping her way to the top, but she has found success in the way she always has - keeping her head down and focusing on what she needs to, using her natural smarts to keep her head above the water, applying for any jobs out there, even ones that seemed way too far out of her skill range.

She discovered the job on The Last Truth purely by chance, and decided to apply, and somehow she’d actually landed it - she allowed herself a small, private celebration before she decided to focus on learning everything she could about the show to be fully prepared and show that she’d been a good choice, only beginning to relax when, a few weeks later, she’d begun to get to know everyone on set and felt like this was becoming her new home.

       THERE’S SOMETHING TO BE SAID   about a friendship forged in an environment like this  —  it’s intense and emotions always seem to be running at an all time high, so quiet moments like this are hard to come by. it’s not that you dislike the chaos, kind of the opposite really, YOU THRIVE IN IT,  it disconnects you from things you’d rather not focus on.  “ this isn’t what i was planning on doing, you know? ”  it’s half a confession, half mumbled over the rum of a coffee mug  ( filled with hot chocolate, of course ),  “ acting, i mean. i kind of just fell into it. ”
