Summary: Y/N hasn’t been seen in public for a while, and when she finally ventures out to a songwriter’s retreat, she and Jensen make a special connection.  Pairing: Jensen x Reader Word Count: 1615 Warnings: Infidelity, drinking.  Song Inspiration: Delicate - Taylor Swift Square Filled: BTZ Bingo; Vacation

A black town car pulled up to the front of the hotel and parked outside the automatic doors. Jensen slid his room key from the counter and peeked out the doors to see who would be coming out of the town car. 

“I’ll be damned,” he muttered under his breath, slapping the room key against his hand a few times. 

He knew that there were several songwriters he was familiar with on this retreat, but he didn’t know that Y/N Y/L/N was going to be here. He had tracked her career for a while, until recently when a nasty breakup had essentially sent her into hiding. For all Jensen knew, this was the first time she had been anywhere near public in months. 

“Checking in under Devereaux,” she told the desk attendant. Her dark sunglasses hid her eyes; her voice was meek and tired. Feeling Jensen’s eyes on her, she looked his direction and raised her brow. “Can I help you?”

He cleared his throat. “Sorry. I just — I’m Jensen. Ackles, Jensen Ackles. Here for the writer’s retreat. I’m assuming you are, too?”

She stared at him for a moment, his arm outstretched, hand waiting to shake hers. Her tongue snuck lightly across her lips and she reached to remove her sunglasses. 

“Ms. Devereaux? Your room card.”

Y/N’s attention veered from Jensen, and her hand dropped away from her sunglasses. She cleared her throat. “Thank you. Can I have an extra pillow sent up to my room, please?”

The desk clerk nodded. Y/N took one last glance at Jensen, then she was gone, disappearing around a left turn that would guide her toward the elevators. 

Jensen chided himself for a not-so-smooth interaction, dawdled long enough for Y/N to get on an elevator, then took that same left turn and headed for his own room. 

After lunch time, the songwriters all gathered in a conference room. Y/N was no where to be seen, and Jensen tried to stop himself from looking around for her while the leader of the retreat gave an inspirational opening speech. Most people in the room were familiar with each other, so they skipped the introductions and broke off into groups to start working on projects. 

“If I apologize for the semi-awkward interaction at the front desk earlier, do you wanna work with me?” Jensen looked up to see Y/N holding a spiral notebook to her chest; a pen was tucked behind her ear. “Damn, kinda feels like high school again. Awkward girl who nobody really likes asking the popular guy to be her lab partner.”

Jensen gave her half of a charming smile. “I’m not sure you’ve assigned roles correctly, but at any rate, count me in. We could stay here, hit the beach, whatever you wanna do.”

She bit her bottom lip, letting on how nervous she truly felt. “Would you be opposed to finding a bite to eat? I came straight off a flight, napped, and I’m a little hungry. I don’t work so well on an empty stomach.”

“We could try room service. There’s a great view from the balcony of my room.”

Her nervous expression shifted to that of disgust. “Forget it.”

She turned on her heel, tension pulling her shoulders together. Jensen was out of his seat and catching up to her before she even reached the door of the conference room. 

“That’s not what I meant, I’m sorry. Look, you can bring whoever with you — but I can see the ocean and the beach from my room, I thought it might be conducive to the creative process.”

Y/N drew in a deep breath before slowly exhaling. “I’m sorry — my misunderstanding. Everyone’s been on me for so much shady shit lately, I just assumed …”

Jensen held up his hands. “Nothing shady, Y/N. I promise. Just a couple songwriters, enjoying food and trying to make a hit.”

The nerves returned, but she nodded and followed Jensen to his room. They ordered a smorgasbord of fresh fruits and veggies to start with, along with a couple of cheeseburgers. 

“Fuel for the mind,” Y/N laughed. 

Jensen licked his lips in an effort to hide his own smile. This was the first time he had ever seen her laugh, heard it firsthand, and the sound endeared her to him even more. At least this gave him a reason, as oppose to the moment she had stepped out of that town car and piqued his interest. 

Y/N groaned and set her head against the table on the balcony. Jensen sat across the table from her, guitar in his lap, fingers lazily falling over the strings.

“This isn’t working,” she sighed, sitting back in the chair. “We’ve been at this for, like, three hours, and we have nothing.”

“It’s not a race with the other songwriters, you know.”

She raised a brow. “So if we show up to the showcase in a few days and we have nothing, you’ll be completely fine with that?”

“First of all, we have three more days after today, second of all … are you saying you wanna break up?” Jensen teased. 

She gave a tense laugh. “Everything’s been such a mess lately. This is the first time I’ve left the house in I don’t even really know how long. I was broken down, I was shattered. I want to come back, but I need people to know that I came back strong.”

“I get that. I mean, me and my girl are good, but if we broke up — I’d probably be a mess. I think, anyway. We’ve been together so long, I wonder if sometimes we stay together out of habit.” He drifted off to his own thoughts for a couple of seconds, then cleared his throat. “But you know, endings just mean new beginnings. So maybe, let’s start there.”

Y/N nodded and picked up her pencil again. The struggle was still there, but at least by the time the sun was setting, they had a direction. 

“Let’s go to dinner,” Jensen suggested. “Take a break, have a drink or two. We can call it a day after that, or we can get back to it. Your call.”

“Sounds like a plan to me. You find a place, I’m going to change. If I’m going to be seen in public —”

“You’ve got to make a strong comeback,” Jensen finished for her. “I completely understand. Wouldn’t mind getting cleaned up myself. I’ll meet you in the lobby in an hour.”

Y/N left her notebook and pencil, but took her phone. Jensen stared at that notebook for several minutes after she left, tempted to read what else was in there, but he managed to refrain. 

Y/N was intoxicated by tacos, palomas, and Jensen. They ate their fill, asked for the drinks to keep coming, and talked like they were old friends, catching up after being apart for too long. 

“He didn’t deserve you,” Jensen said, before throwing back a shot of tequila. “No man who abandons a girl who can put away tacos like that and talk sports and sing like an angel deserves her.”

His words darkened the pink of her already flushed cheeks. “You’re too kind. I made mistakes, too. Everybody does.”

“Everybody does,” Jensen repeated, his eyes glassy as he looked at her. He was close to making a mistake, but he felt like he couldn’t stop himself. “We should come back here, every so often. It can be our place. We’ll write music and catch up and just forget the rest of the world.”

“That song’s already been written, I think.”

He couldn’t help but laugh. He recovered, finished off his beer, and held out a hand to her. “Dance with me, Y/N.”

She took a shot of her own, then slipped her hand into his. Jensen lead her to the makeshift dance floor — a patio where others were dancing to the acoustic melodies plucked out on a guitar — and wrapped one warm around the small of her back. She put an arm over his shoulders; their free hands clasped. They swayed back and forth together. 

“So, whaddya say? We come back here every now and then? To escape?”

Y/N cleared her throat. “My reputation’s kind of shit right now, so you must really mean that. But, you’ve also got someone. We can’t exactly make promises.”

Jensen nodded; she was right, of course, but that wasn’t going to stop him. Not tonight. He stopped their movement. Their clasped hands became interlaced fingers, dropped to their sides. Her free hand was at his waist now, and his was drawing his knuckles along her jawline. 

Seconds later, their lips were pressed together, soft and sweet but wanting. Neither one knew who had initiated the kiss, but both of them knew they wanted that kiss and more. Sober or otherwise, they wanted as much as the other could give. 

“Is it too soon to be doing this?” Jensen asked. “I don’t wanna — you’re fresh off of that breakup.”

“And you’re with her,” Y/N said, echoing her earlier statement. “So, I’d say this is a delicate situation.”

“Yeah. It is. What are we gonna do?” 

Y/N swallowed down every protest her mind insisted she make. She licked her lips again, tasting the Corona from Jensen’s lips, mixed with the tequila from the shots both of them had indulged. So many things could go wrong, if they continued in this moment — but there were also things that could go right. 

 Y/N kissed him again, a silent promise of nights that went beyond the one they shared now.

ROH TV Championship: Scorpio Sky vs Punishment Martinez:[***]

Nice little title match to start the night off. The champ look dominant and the challenger worked hard to win and make his opponent look good and he kinda did, as i'm really slowly starting to like Martinez: his character is good but at the moment i don't like him in the ring, even tho i see some potential. Sky is a really underrated wrestler who can put on a solid performarce with every worker in the business. Final stretch was nice as Martinez nailed the challenger with a Silencer on the turnbuckle followed by his South of Heaven to maintain the title

Winner AND STILL ROH TV Champion(8:33): Punishment Martinez

Proving Ground: Karen Q vs Sumie Sakai:[***]

If Karen Q win she gets a future title shot for the WOH title...and actually this match was surprising, as i wasn't expecting much from it and it turned out to be good. Karen Q looked great and Sakai won as a smart champion who captalised a stupid mistake from her opponent. WOH is growing and getting better and better, but at the same time i feel they have to make a statement to get some more momentum and buzz around these ladies. Maybe a new debut or a big title change can help?

Fatal 4 Way: Shane Taylor vs Kenny King vs Jonathan Gresham vs Chris Sabin:[***3/4]

This match was really awesome even tho i didn't understand the tag rules at all. it was fun, fast, good storytelling, some really good multiman spots and the finish was cool as fuck, as Gresham applied a rear naked choke on Taylor after A FUCKING SUICIDE DIVE. That spot was great and earned him a possible TV Title shot, as on commentary they said something about. Really really cool match you should check out: all four shined, the right guy won. Good call ROH

Dear Bully Ray...you're one of my favourite wrestlers all time, loved your TNA heel stint as  world champion, loved you with Devon...but please..can you retire soon? Because i can't simply understand what the hell you are doing in ROH...no match again this time...DQ and thank god Trent is back. Please Bully, hear my advice.

Solid eight man tag team with the babyface trying to go for the upset win but the heel team brought home the W thanks to a last call from the Beer City Bruiser. As a replacement for Young vs Lethal, it was an ok match

Marty Scurll vs Vinnie Marseglia:[**3/4]

Originally it was scheduled as Scurll vs Taven but the leader of the kingdom came to the ring saying that he is the real ROH Champion after he pinned Castle and refused to wrestle tonight and instead let his team mate Vinnie take on the Villian. Personally the original match would have been much better but this one was good, maybe a bit too long, but still enjoyable overall and still gave Marty a win and set the post match, with the Kingdom attacking the Villian and getting cody out for the save and prepare the field for his match with TK O'Ryan and maybe revamping his feud with Taven. This all “Real ROH Champ” is ROH response to all controversies around lethal at the moment and it helps the product, because it could lead to something if Lethal is found guilty and if he isn't then they cover his absence.

Cody vs TK O'Ryan:[**1/2]

Not an amazing match but to be honest you couldn't expect much more from this. O'Ryan didn't looked great and he is not a single performer like Marseglia, but his team mate showed a bit more. Cody picked up an easy win as he gains back momentum after his recents loss heading to All in, waiting to find out his opponent coming out from the next match on the card

NWA Title Match: Flip Gordon vs Nick Aldis:[***]

I was really excited about this match because it could have some devolopment for all in and at the end of the day it was a good match, expect for the parts where Aldis was in control. I liked the restart of the match because it made Flip really shine and prove something to cody even tho he tapped out. Something i didn't liked was the post match with Bully Ray attacking Flip, but it's just bully so it doesn't matter too much. Will Flip get booked to All in after this match or Cody will troll him, even tho he clearly rooted for Flip? I guess we will found it out during BTE. I hope Cody-Aldis will be better than this match tho...

Three way tag Team: Young Bucks vs Addiction vs Briscoes Brother:[****]

Everyone expecting this to be the MOTN and it easily was, as we had a really great match who was fast, really enjoyable and with some awesome spots and a good storytelling. The chemistry between those teams is unbeliavable and they never fail to deliver. Bucks picked up the win by pinning the champs after a Meltzer driver, after they lost at BITW, which should mean that they are in line for a rematch. At the moment it's not official and i guess i don't know when the next ROH event is scheduled...so it might be that we might this match at All In? Really cool main event you should check out for sure if you want to see something out this event

Overall: I originally didn't planned this review because i wanted to just watch the two main events and maybe drop a review on them, but earlier in the day, a good friend of mine told me that the event was (even tho he had to struggle with Honor Club) so i decided to check it out and turn it into a review. Was he right? Yeah he was, because we had a good event with two stand out matches and the rest being enjoyable at least. If you want to check out something, go for the main event, the fatal four way and the last minutes of Gordon-Aldis [6.5]

COST OF US HOME OWNERSHIP REACHES TWO-YEAR HIGH….  Home sweet eye-poppingly expensive home. The S&P/Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index reported a year-on-year increase of 5.9 percent in January, meaning that American housing costs were the highest they’ve been in 31 months. Prices in Seattle, Portland and Denver hit all-time highs. Analysts put the growth down to strong demand and tepid interest rates, but even the Federal Reserve’s recent rate rise isn’t predicted to slow growth much — though wage stagnation might, if it can’t keep up with inflation.

NZ QUAKE-DAMAGED WATER PIPES LEAK 1M LITRES A DAY…. Pipes in New Zealand's capital are leaking a million litres (220,000 gallons) of water a day as a result of the powerful November 2016 earthquake. The authorities in Wellington can't fix the problem yet because they don't know where the leaks are located, the Newstalk ZB reports. Utility company Wellington Water says that meters are going to be fitted in the city's Central Business District (CBD) in order to work out where the weaknesses lie, but that could still take months."Leak detection is tricky at the best of times, but in the CBD, where you have thick layers of concrete and constraints around working hours, it's even more so," Keith Woolley, chief advisor for Wellington Water, tells Stuff.co.nz. The epicentre of November's 7.8-magnitude quake was on the South Island, where two people were killed. It caused building damage in Wellington, on the North Island, and was followed by a series of strong aftershocks. Despite the scale of the current leaks, it's nothing compared to the immediate aftermath of the quake, when seven million litres were being lost each day. That was mainly because of broken pipes at Wellington's port.

HITLER PAINTING ON SHOW FOR FIRST TIME AT ITALY MUSEUM…. An oil painting by Adolf Hitler is to go on display for the first time at a museum in northern Italy. The small untitled work has been lent by a German private collector to the Museum of Salo, on the shores of Lake Garda, for an exhibition called the "Museum of Madness", Corriere della Sera reports. It shows two men, one at a table, with a dark corridor extending behind them. The exhibition's curator sees little artistic merit in the undated painting. "It's a piece of crap," says curator Vittorio Sgarbi. "It's a painting by a hopeless man, it could have been done by Kafka, it says a lot about his psyche: here you do not see greatness, you see misery." Hitler famously applied to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in the 1900s but was rejected twice. Despite being considered a mediocre artist, his work has fetched considerable sums at auction in recent years.Alongside Hitler's work will be pieces by world-renowned artists including Francisco Goya and Francis Bacon. The exhibition also has photographs, sculptures and multimedia installations, all exploring the theme of insanity through art history. The exhibition opens on Saturday and its setting is fitting, as Salo was the de facto capital of Benito Mussolini's Nazi-backed puppet state, the Republic of Salo, between 1943 and 1945.

FREE METRO RIDES FOR KIEV POETRY BUFFS…. Metro users in Ukraine's capital city are being allowed to ride free of charge at some stations if they can recite a poem by Taras Shevchenko, the country's national poet. Metro attendants will be waiting near ticket barriers to hear people's poetry offerings, and will then allow them through without a ticket, the Kiev Metro Facebook page says. Ordinarily a single journey costs four hryvnias ($0.15; 12p). The initiative, dubbed Shevchenko "happy hour", is to mark the 19th-Century poet's birthday on 9 March. The metro giveaway isn't particularly widespread, as it only applies during brief time slots at three stations - including one named after Shevchenko. And despite the "happy hour" name, the travel window is only 40 minutes at two of the stations. That's left some metro users feeling a bit miffed, even if many like the idea in principle. "Why not at all the stations, why time restrictions?" asks one Facebook user, although others respond that it would be difficult to implement, especially given the crowds at rush hour. "What a great idea. Too bad about the time limits!" another writes. Ukrainians learn Shevchenko's poems at school, and for some reciting one from memory would not be a struggle. But others aren't so sure - one person jokingly asks: "Read it by heart? Or can I read it from my mobile phone?"

GERMAN POLICE BRING MCDONALD'S MEALS TO CUSTODY CELLS…. Police in a German town are heading to McDonald's to collect fast food for people in their custody cells after a catering contract fell through. Those being held at the police station in Bergisch-Gladbach near Cologne can choose between a hamburger, cheeseburger or veggie burger from the fast food chain, which has an outlet across the road, the Express newspaper reports. There's also a "McToast" breakfast option for those waking up after a night in the cells. The more substantial burgers are off-limits, according to Express, as they're too pricey for the police budget. The force says it's an interim solution which became necessary when its normal supplier - which also served the local hospital - abruptly ended the contract. "When we take people into custody, we need to ensure a basic supply of food as a police force," says officer Richard Barz.They had to find somewhere that could serve up a snack at all hours and every day of the week. "The location and the round-the-clock availability made us decide in favour of McDonald's," he tells the Bergische Landeszeitung newspaper. Last year, 642 people spent time in the station's custody cells, and about 300 meals were served, the paper says. The regional interior ministry describes the burger service as a one-off "emergency" measure, and it's optimistic that a new agreement can be made with the hospital's food supplier.

PUBLIC FORCES RUSSIAN CITY TO KEEP ETERNAL FLAME LIT…. Officials in the Russian city of Omsk have backed down on plans to turn off the eternal flame at the local war memorial after a public outcry. A passerby noticed on Tuesday that the flame had gone out, and took to social media to ask whether it was an accident, repairs, or perhaps the gas had been cut off, the local NGS news site reports. The memorial was inaugurated less than two years ago to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two. It was financed by the Omsk veterans association, and the flame was lit with a torch flown directly from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. According to the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, the local authorities promised at the inaugural ceremony that the eternal flame would burn constantly. But in January the city economy department took over management of the flame from the war veterans group and decided they didn't have the 500,000 roubles ($8,600; £7,000) to keep it on all year round. On Tuesday, an official announced it would only be lit on 17 holidays honouring the military, which led to an outcry from the public, local Prodvizheniye TV channel reports. Veterans association leader Yevgeny Belov said he was "profoundly offended" by the decision, as honouring the memory of the war dead at the eternal flame was "sacred". The authorities backed down within hours, with Mayor Vyacheslav Dvorakovsky insisting that it was cut off only because of "technical problems. Despite the U-turn, Komsomolskaya Pravda says some local people are finding it hard to get over the decision "to cut back on the holiest of holies - our memory".

1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional. Leslie sleeps on his face, flat out, arms spread, his body practically trying to escape from the bed. He also moves a lot in his sleep, loves to hug things. Body pillows are definitely a favorite. 3. Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like? Leslie has a pretty neutral Amercian accent, due to the years he spent living in the mid-west, paired with his time in New York. When he was younger, he decided that he wanted to sound like he was from Brooklyn, but that phase only lasted a year or two. 4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly? Leslie's a sucker for holding out random letters while he speaks, especially if it's to call someone's name or say something that he would consider endearing. More often than not, he'll do this with a nasal inflection, making the word sound pretty whine-y. 5. What are their chief tension areas? Man, he hates to complain about it, but the joints in his ankles like to lock up sometimes. If he ever falls asleep drunk in front of his apartment, there's a good chance that it's because he was walking back from the bar, his ankles started to hurt, and his drunken self just kind of gave up. 6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why? This is tough, actually, because most songs that I would attribute toward Leslie have more to do with his relationship to others than as a reflection of his personality. I like to pair him with Sam Smith songs, but he's too bubbly for that. You know what, he'd probably be "Grace Kelly" by Mika. 7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral? I wish I could say neutral, because that's how he perceives himself to the rest of the world, but he's aware that he has a lot of problems. He's pretty much decided that he's a lost cause. Leslie's in between settling with himself or getting better for someone else. 8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts? He's too much of a quick thinker. The thought usually passes before he gets the opportunity to fulfill anything. 9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time. Ha. Oh, man. Yeah, Leslie has a lot of very vivid dreams, and they vary so much from day to day. They say that you dream about what you think about, and Leslie'd brain is always going. It's exhausting. By morning time, though, he's usually dreaming about peeing, actually. He's peed in a lot of interesting places in his dreams. 10. If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation? Subways make him nauseous, actually. Throw him on a bus. 11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like? Evolution all the way. Sorry, guys, but he's not a big believer in the everlasting. He fully believes that after death comes darkness. He tries not to think about it too much, though. 12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has. He can think about one thing and talk about something else, simultaneously. Yeah, he'll pretty quickly change topics, but it's still an interesting skill. He's double jointed, so he likes to do party tricks where he bends his body around in weird and kind of gross ways. He's tone deaf, but he loves to sing (sorry, world). When he gets really happy about something or is in a good mood, he walks with a peppy dance in his step. He likes to wiggle his legs. Actually, he has a pretty serious restless leg syndrome thing going on. 13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? After college, he was pretty ready to dive into work, but then Amy died and he just shut down. There were a few months worth of spending all of his savings before he finally got a job. If he were a rich man, he'd probably still be unemployed. 14. Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo? Team, team, team, team. Please don't make him do anything on his own. It'll never get done. 15. Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time? He should focus on one subject at a time, but he isn't going to. Ever. 16. What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each. Best: Biology, Chemistry, Algebra, Lunch, Physical Education -- Worst: English, Literature, History, Arts (any kind), Study Hour 17. Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people? Extrovert, he really can't stand being alone, unless he's asleep. 18. Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether? Aw, man, those sidelines look pretty fucking comfortable, but he likes people way too much not to get involved in some way. It kind of depends on the situation, though. If he can chat with someone, he'll jump in as a follower. If he has to argue with someone, he sticks to the sidelines. He hates confrontations. 19. If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight? Neither, to be honest. He'd stick around and laugh it off until someone decided to punch him in the face just to shut him up. If he had to do one or the other, though, he'd probably run away, but he's definitely more likely to take middle ground there. 20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why? He wouldn't. If he could go back in time, he wouldn't even murder his neice’s killer. 21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why? Impulse control, Leslie. Impulse control. No, he'd wish for a cheeseburger, then realize he could've wished for an entire meal and make a second wish for fried brussel sprouts. Then maybe he'd wish for a couple thousand bucks. 22. Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone? Right off the bat, no questions asked. It's a wonder he's never been stabbed by this point in his life. Or had his kidneys stolen and sold on the black market. 23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart? Affection, oh my GOD. He loves to be touched, whether it's just a brush of the hand or a full on underwear-only snuggle session, he loves it. If he were rich, he'd probably pay someone money just to cuddle him. No sex or anything necessary. The quickest way to his heart? Be kind and laugh. That's all it really takes. He's a sucker for a sweet soul that's willing to laugh at his shitty jokes. 24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why? Not that he would see it, but the local bartender (and his boyfriend) tend to give him nasty side-eye. 25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks? He'd do pretty much anything with anyone. He slept with a 90 year old woman once, and that was probably the most adventurous night of his life. And not just because of her age. 26. How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble? Prepare for bed? Leslie hardly makes it to the bed before he's out cold most nights. And what's wrong with sleeping in your clothes? He only takes them off if it's summer time, because then it gets hot. Otherwise, Leslie tends to sleep fully dressed, unless he's just had sexual contact with someone. Once he's asleep, he sleeps like the dead. Expect it to take a long time to get him to wake up, even longer if you find him drooling. 27. If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be? He'd thank them for giving him a chance (he's adopted), and explain that he would never forget them. 28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets? He isn't afraid of death for himself, which is a scary thought, actually. Leslie has a very minute sense of preservation. On his deathbed, he'd regret a lot about his life, but at his current age, he only regrets not talking to Amy more while she'd been alive. Everything else just seems relatively unimportant to him. 29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why? Leslie will legitimately start bouncing if the world around him is too quiet for too long. He'll click his heels, tick his tongue, snap his fingers, tap his knuckles on the surface of any nearby furniture. It makes him feel weird, and he definitely gets bored of it quickly. The guy can't stand libraries, even if he'll say otherwise. 30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why? Brussel sprouts. He just absolutely loves them. Don't ask me why. The guy's weird af.
