synopsis- someone saw tsukishima and you holding hands and were surprised because they didn't know that you both were dating. (established relationship)

you tapped your pen restlessly on the bench, hoping the bell would ring. the day felt longer than it was. your teacher's lecture was enough to turn one into Sleeping Beauty.

the room seemed to be shrinking, making you feel claustrophobic. your body etched to run out the room.

the gods finally decided to listen to your plea, as the bell rung. you let out a sigh of relief and darted out the room as soon as the teacher dismissed the class. the world felt brighter.

you waited outside tsukishima's class waiting for his class to be dismissed, although the bell had already rung. eventually, he got out of the room. a smile on your face as soon as you saw his tall figure.

"heyy. took you long enough." you teased. "the teacher just couldn't stop babbling." he said with an annoyed look. "ready to go?" he asked, glancing at you with a hint of affection.

"yeah. this place is suffocating." you smiled. he took your hand and led you through the crowed hallways so you won't get lost because, according to him, your brain turns itself off, but, you knew he just liked holding your hand.

you got to the dispersal area, still holding hands even though there wasn't much of a crowd.

out of nowhere, you heard a gasp followed by the both of your names. "y/n?! tsukishima?!"

you both turned around at the familiar voice. you saw tanaka and nishinoya gaping at the two of you.

oh. realization hit you. neither of you had ever told anyone about your relationship.

"are you both dating?!" tanaka gasped, loud enough for people to turn their heads. "yeah." tsukishima casually shrugged. you noticed his cheeks turning a shade of pink, in addition to his ears.

"how come we didn't know?" nishinoya asked, equally as loud as tanaka. all the other students present were staring, curious about the drama.

"Didn't think it was anyone's business." Tsukishima shrugged nonchalantly. that comment left the other two stammering, looking for words to spit out. "y/n, you didn't tell us either!" nishinoya turned to you.

"heh. slipped my mind i guess." you replied, with a smile tugging at your lips.

although tsukishima didn't talk to many people, many people still knew him. he was quite popular amongst the female students because of his charming looks, although, he didn't talk to any of them.

the next day, the word spread fast. you might have found a few girls crying (dramatically) in the bathroom stalls with their friends comforting them, glaring at you while you entered.

Kei isn't the type to shower you with physical affection. He would kiss and hug you occasionally or when you'd meet. So, when he randomly kissed you, without warning or reason, you got caught off guard and maybe your heart stopped for a few seconds.

you were in his house chilling, casually. you both were on your phones. you accidentally caught a glimpse of his lock screen. it was a picture of you and him, eating ice cream on Valentines day.

"aww that's us" you say rolling beside him. "yeah how cute" he replied sarcastically pretending not to care but, the blush on his cheeks said otherwise.

"never knew Tsukki could be such a simp" you teased. "truly loving someone doesn't make me a simp, no?" he replied.

you suddenly felt yourself falling deeper, your heart rate increasing. he turns towards you, smirking, knowing well of the effect he had on you. "shut up" you huffed. "it's usually me saying that" he replied, smirking bigger. "so how was practice today?" you tried to change the topic. "ehh alright. I hurt my fingers again" he complained holding up his hand, inspecting them. you took his palm and placed a small kiss on the back. out of the blue, he looks straight into you, a few seconds feel like minutes, he leans in. lips together as if they were conjoint. you were startled. Kei Tsukishima kissed you, without warning. was this even him? after what felt like you were on Cloud 9, your lips parted. "I just realized I should kiss you more often." he admitted. your mind replayed the same scene for the rest of the day and in the dark of the night, all in the back of your mind.

marks of tears on your face, eyes still stinging. you should have guessed that this would happen. you almost expected him to not show up, given this field of work. but, somehow it still felt bitter.

heavy breaths against your pillow, also stained with tears. you had gave up waiting and changed into your pajamas.

he was supposed to come home by evening, and you would go out, after a few exhausting weeks. he'd promised. he'd promised a lot of things actually, which was how you knew what to expect.

you heard someone enter the house. you didn't want it. you didn't want any of his apologies. his hugs. anything from him. not at the moment, atleast.

you felt the door of your shared bedroom open. you tried to calm your breathing, act like you were asleep. "hey, are you awake?" you heard him whisper. you didn't reply. "c'mon, I know you aren't asleep." he tried. no response.

"I really don't know how to start explaining. I know I messed up again. I have no words for myself." he tried to apologize. his voice had a sort of urgency and rush, the kind that played when he was worried.

"you could always try shutting up" your voice came out just as harsh as you meant it to be. your voice was audibly breaking.

"please, love. you know that if I had a choice, I would never skip on you." he was hesitant to touch you. pain seeped through his deep voice.

"Satoru. I understand the given the field of work we have unexpected emergencies. But, I'm still angry." you finally turned around to see him. his eyes were glazed.

he squeezed your hand. a look on his face suggesting that he wanted to give you more. he held eye contact for a few seconds before hesitantly leaned over to gently peck your lips.

after a few long seconds of holding his eyes, you turned over. maybe it'd be better tomorrow.

you had only ever had disagreements over childish things with Gojo, they had ended pretty quickly, most of the time with kisses. but, this time, it was slightly different. this was serious.

"you're overreacting!" he complained.

that was it. you immediately strode out of the house, down the stairs, fuming and hurt by his words. no matter how childish he was, he always cared about the words he had used.

out in the street you were, late in the night. it wasn't late until you'd hear frantic footsteps along with your name, following up to you.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"yeah. you shouldn't have. that didn't stop you though, did it?" you shot.

"can we rationally talk this out. I know I was the one acting childish. I'm ready to listen to you. Please?" he pleaded

"maybe tomorrow. I'm overreacting today, is that right?" you said sarcastically.

"that was wrong of me to say. please don't go this late at night. you're capable enough to protect yourself but, I would sleep better knowing you're home, with me, safe." he begged

"I don't feel like seeing you right now OR being anywhere near you."

"then can I walk you home? I'll stay behind you, I'll stay quiet. Please?"

"like a stalker?"

"I just want to see you get home safe."

"fine." you gave in.

he walked you home that night safe and sound. he ended up staying the night and talking the issue out. ends with a lottt of kisses and cuddles

as the lunch bell rang, the hallways filled wit chattering students. you were supposed to meet Tsukishima but, he was nowhere to be seen in a swarm of students.

just as you were about to give up and head for the cafeteria, you spotted your 6'3 blond boyfriend. you raised your arm and waved to get his attention. he finally spotted you a few meters away.

you could swear you saw him kick a few people to come get you. "did you just kick that person?" you asked as he finally made his way to you. "might have. he was walking so slowly, it was annoying." he rolled his eyes.

as you both headed towards the cafeteria, he took your hand so that he wouldn't lose you in the crowd.

as you both finally made it to the cafeteria and sat down with your food, "what happened to your hands?" you asked. "what do you mean?" "they feel like crocodile skin, tsukki." you admitted

"I play volleyball, remember?" he reasoned. "well, have you ever heard of moisturizer?" "I'm usually in a hurry when I leave so, I forget" he replied. "you should take care of yourself you know?" you looked concerned.

your words had flustered Tsukishima. he was blushing like crazy. he lowered his head to his food to hide it. "yeah yeah I will." he reassured you. "you better. your hands are a pain to hold." you teased with a smirk. you wish you took back your words when you saw him glare.

When Tsukishima get jealous

your bf got a lil jealous hehe you were heading to class when your friend (male) had stopped you to ask something about the homework. you were good friends with him and he asked you to help him as he was falling behind.

Unlucky for him, Tsukishima was right behind you, listening to the entire conversation. your friend caught his eye. tsukki was throwing daggers with just his eyes. You obviously noticed, he didn't make any effort hiding it after all. you quickly said bye to your friend and headed to class with tsukki as soon as you noticed. "what was that about?" tsukishima asked as soon as class was dismissed. "you're asking as if you didn't eavesdrop on my entire conversation with him" you teased. "how'd you know that I was asking about him?" he asked as if this was a crime interrogation. "it's obvious with the side eye you were giving him" you chuckled. "anyways, do you want to get something to eat or come over after school?" he said trying to change the topic. "oh... uhh-" you were trying to find words to tell him that you were tutoring your friend after school knowing very well that he was jealous. "what?" he asked as you struggled to find words. "I-uhh- I can't today" you muttered out. he looked at you expecting an explanation. "I'm tutoring my friend" you explained. "oh." was all he gave. disappointment lingering in his words.

"ready to go?" you asked. you were going to your house with him to tutor him. "yep!" you could see tsukishima in a distance, talking to tadashi but, his eyes were on you. you tried to brush it off and started walking home with your tutee. __________________________ __________________________

the next day when you were talking to tsukishima, "so how was your tutoring session yesterday?" he asked. "alright. he's slow af." you joked. he laughed but, there was a feeling he was laughing because you insulted your tutee (not that your joke wasn't funny, you're hilarious, go queen <3). before you noticed, your tutee was walking up to you and tsukishima. ''hey" he greeted. "hey" you replied back. "so I was wondering when we can meet up today." he said, completely ignoring the giant that was itching to throw hands. shit.

"uhhh-" was all you gave, looking at tsukishima glaring at the third person. "well if you can't decide right now, give me your number, so that once you're free, you can text me" he suggested with a smirk.

his intentions was clearly not just for knowledge. he was trying to make a move on you, making no effort to hide it. you were startled, not knowing how to respond.

then, you felt an arm go round your shoulders, "she won't be free today, you can come back tomorrow."

no more words were needed. he was scared off. your friend didn't come back the next day, or ever again.
