Disappeared for a bit because work has been kicking my ass, but I couldn’t figure out what GuppyKit reminded me of but I went back into my old files and GoldfishFur’s daughter, who died as a very young kit, was named GuppyKit and was also orange and white (although with different patterning) and I’ve never really mentioned her until now but oh my god the ANGST of when goldfish gets home and sees what looks like his daughter… - @wills-woodland-warriors

Finding out Wavespark's name was Guppy might make it extra angsty cause that makes it TWO orange-and-white cats with the same name as his dead daughter

Don't know Guppyjump's personality but imagine if Goldfishfur meets Guppykit and they act so similar....and what if he meets him around the age Guppyjump was when she died, but he has to walk away and remind himself that this is a different kitten who already has a family, and he feels like his daughter is leaving him all over again. But maybe that feeling is better than knowing it's not really her and he will probably never see her again.
