Twinsies are always a challenge and a rare opportunity. This poor lil guy took a bath. Guns have 2 enemies, politicians and rust! Well the salty gulf waters are super accelerators of the latter. Tore it down, degreased it, rust remover treatment, elbow grease, ultrasonic treatments, repeat till all the grit and all the rust were gone. Retreat in the ultrasonic tank with a hot oil session to replenish the lubricity lost in the aforementioned processes.
