Lough Tay, The Guinness Lake

A lake that look's like Guinness? Makes you thirsty just looking at it, right?

Missing the pubs ? Why not take a trip to Wicklow and visit Lough Tay and get a taste of the black stuff.

This lake is surrounded by spectacular scenery with a backdrop of the wicklow mountains in the distance. The Guinness family themselves imported the white sand to resemble the creamy head of the pint and the colour of the water is a dark rich brown, just like the pint.

Our first recommended spot in Ireland is County Wicklow aka ‘The Garden of Ireland’. It’s clear from these pictures why it got that name. Wicklow is filled with greenery and scenery that should be bucket listed to see. 

This cute, cosy cottage, located in Ashford, is perfect for a trip to Wicklow. The cottage would be ideal for a romantic getaway or a relaxing girls trip.

Si din nou am luat-o la pas prin Insula de Smarald... de data aceasta am umblat brambura prin lantul muntos Wicklow unde am descoperit frumosul lac Guinness... unde privelistea superba este insotita de muntii si stanciile din granit care cuprind lacul si il face sa arate ca un Pint of Guinness, datorita nisipului alb in varf...
