 That kind of laughter – particularly the sort one is trying to downplay – always proves infectious. Though he might not entirely share her mental imagery as to why the suggestion is so funny, he chuckles regardless. The concept of bringing Midgard to Asgard itself has always amused him. After so many years absent from the advances of the mortal world there is much they have missed, and many he can think of who would be either baffled, enraged or delighted by certain creations. He suddenly feels the pressing need to bring some of those super sour candies back on his next journey.

He has enthusiasm in spades and Thor’s almost too excited now to sit still. The DVD, he knows, will serve as a flavour of what to expect, but now that seed has been planted it proves difficult for him to focus. Thera’s words, however, help channel that interest. “Perfect!” At once he’s off the sofa and getting it started, taking the intervening time to recharge the glasses and adjust cushions.

“I can’t wait – just promise me we don’t have to take those blasted planes. I never fit in their seats.”

“You don’t fit in anybody’s seats!” She throws that at him with a laugh, hands busy with her phone. And it’s true, except maybe for her couch, and even that’s a little bit overflowing once he begins to sprawl. “You don’t really need a plane to fly, though, do you?”

And on that thought, logistics rears its head - not to really spoil the excitement of the plan, but give it a more serious side. How does one get an enthusiastic Norse God from New York to ... well, Thera supposes finding where they're actually going should happen first.

She has a long, fond history with parts of Jamaica - plus a few less popular and darker-historied islands in the chain. But as far as surfing went Thor was a beginner, so perhaps her place near Playa de Guibia would be a good start.

“We could sail there from Florida, but that will take a while.” Plus it runs the risk of them deciding they were sick of each other before they even arrived. She glances up at the TV, trying to recall if Santo Domingo is mentioned on this particular DVD. “I have a place for us, though.”
