Another Day Another Struggle

Planning with a trucker is one of the hardest things you could ever do. They live in a world of completely unpredictable circumstances.

Sean and I had planned to see eachother this weekend since he had a delivery near me. We thought it would be great because it was as close to Valentine’s Day as we could get. I took off of work for an extra day just so I could spend extra time with him. The plan was for him to get here on Saturday and spend time together till his delivery on Monday morning.

Little did we know that his trailer would be fd up, to where he would have to pull off to get it fixed, he would get a random inspection (meaning after he had to run super carefully), and he would get two flat tires...

All of these things lead to the fun fact of us not being able to see eachother because the timing didn’t work out.

Luckily, being in a relationship like this, you have to be okay with every possibility because you just never know what will happen.

Of course, like every couple, there are arguements and you can’t help but feel a little angry and disappointed but it comes with the territory. Getting hopes up is a sure way to feel down if it goes wrong. Things happen and loving your trucker is the only certainty you have to hold on to.

One missed visit isn’t going to kill you!

But it sure will make ya miss him a whole lot more
