Had another dream last night that makes you wonder if someone's been secretly dosing your tea with something funny.

There I am, doing my normal zombie shuffle to work - same route I've done for ages - when I spot this taxi. Door's hanging open like a trap in a serial killer's basement. And there's my coworker, waving me over like we're about to film the world's shittest remake of Taxi Driver.

Next thing I know, I'm standing in my old flat while some random cow interrogates me about my eating habits like she's the fucking food police. Tell her I eat meat and she goes absolutely mental - proper foaming at the mouth, looking like she's about to throw red paint on me and chain herself to my fridge. Probably leads the Vegan Liberation Army in her spare time, organizing guerrilla raids on Nando's.

Then the dream decides to proper fuck me up. Suddenly I'm in a park and my old dogs are there, running at me like I've got bacon sewn into my clothes. Got my arms around them, rolling in leaves like we're in some soppy TV advert, and for about three seconds everything's brilliant. Until it's not. Until they're dying, right there in my arms, and I'm screaming like I'm being murdered. Might as well have been. Felt like it.

Because apparently that wasn't enough emotional trauma for one night, my brain decides to chuck me into Lebanon. There's smoke everywhere, and this bloke in a suit that probably costs more than someone's yearly therapy bills is telling us to leg it. So we do. Run past this kid drowning - actual fucking drowning - while my husband's telling me to keep going. And I do. I actually do. Dream-me is apparently as much of a heartless bitch as awake-me pretends not be.

Woke up crying like I'd just binged every sad dog film ever made while listening to Adele. Pillow's soaked through like I've been storing tears for the apocalypse.

You know what's proper fucked up though? In dreams, just like in real life, we're always making these shit choices. Do I save myself or try to help? Do I keep running or stop? Do I act like a decent human being or do what needs doing? And every single choice feels like it weighs about as much as all my emotional baggage combined (which, let's be honest, would break the scales at Weight Watchers).

Maybe that's why dreams feel so real - because they're just as full of impossible decisions and regret as regular life. Except in regular life, at least I can blame my poor choices on caffeine addiction and childhood trauma. In dreams, it's all on me.

Think I need a drink. Or ten. Anything to keep my brain from cooking up another episode of "Let's Make Unhinged Woman Relive All Her Worst Fears: The Director's Cut." Though knowing my luck, I'll probably dream about liver failure next.

The Type 88 may have started out in special commando units but appears to have gradually spread out into regular army units. North Korean watchers have spotted the Type 88 using helical magazines capable of carrying more than one hundred rounds of ammunition and the rifle also formed the basis for North Korea’s version of the U.S. Army’s Objective Individual Combat Weapon, a combination gun/grenade launcher weapon equipped with an advanced gunsight.North Korea also maintains a small arsenal of M-16 pattern rifles. The dual feed system has always been something of a mystery, as the Type 73 uses different ammunition than North Korean assault rifles and as such there is no commonality. Vertical magazines do however allow machine gunners to fire from the prone position and while belted ammo can do the same thing feeding belts can allow the machine gun to ingest debris and jam. Even more intriguingly, the Type 73 can fire rifle grenades.North Korea’s follow-on machine gun and their current squad-level support firearm, the Type 82, was introduced in 1982 and is a more orthodox weapon.
