In the 2012 film, Rise of the Guardians, North asked Jack about his centre that makes Jack who he is, but Jack didn't know what his centre is and with his memories lost made it harder for him to find it.  So North shows Jack a nesting doll that holds the parts of him that makes North Santa Claus and a guardian. As the last doll is his centre, a child with big eyes that can see the wonders of the world that helps him make Christmas.

BOUNS:

North giving Jack the last doll, to help him find his centre, and Jack's little nesting doll that stands for the fun side of him. Which turned out to be his centre as the Guardian of Fun.
