A total of 3.71 lakh students took the GSEB HSC arts and commerce exam. Out of which, 1.95 lakh girls and 1.76 lakh boys took the exam. In which, a total of 1.38 lakh girls and 1.44 boys passed the exam.

Girls pass percent is 11.23% higher than boys

Like the year 2019, girls have outscored the boys in the Gujarat Board HSC arts and commerce examination 2020. The pass percentage of girls is 82.20% while for boys it is 70.97%, which is 11.23% higher than the boys.

Gujarat SSC, HSC (general) results likely in first half of June - Times of India

AHMEDABAD: The GSEB SSC result is likely to be announced in mid of June, said GSHSEB officials. The class 12 results for general stream may also be declared in the first half of June.

The board issued a statement after fake messages regarding the Gujarat class 12 result announcement date went viral on social media.

The GSHSEB clarified that, when finalised, the board will post the result announcement date on its official website.

In a press release, the Board authorities have appealed students, teachers, and school authorities not to believe baseless information.

GSHSEB announced the class 12 (Science) results on May 17, 2020. The Gujarat HSC (Science) results were made available on its official website. The overall pass percentage of GSEB Science result recorded at 71.34%. About 1.6 lakh students had appeared for the exam.

This year, Gujarat Board exam results have been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

Earlier, a photoshopped a copy of the official announcement changed the date to May 19 and replaced Class XII Science stream with Class XII general stream went viral on social media and had created a lot of chaos.
