#davidbowie’s late #80s work is a punching bag for critics and writers no matter how much they love #bowie otherwise, and even for Bowie himself for that matter. Have to say I like #bluejean though - picked up this #coloredvinyl #45 from @gruffsvinyl in #rockledgefl and have the same pair #dancingwiththebigboys — a strong track with co-lead vocals by @iggypopofficial and co-written with him and #carlosalomar — as a 12” single as well. I included a photo of #chrisoleary’s #ashestoashes because that is one of the Bowie reference books I’m reading as I work through his discography, and it’s some of the best writing on Bowie‘s music, not life or lyrics but his music specifically, that you can find out there. It also has the best insults of the #tonight #album probably anywhere to be found in print.
