I can imagine an Earth-C x Bugstuck situation where a couple brings their Cerulean or Purple grub to No Pets Allowed shop or restaurant and having to argue that no, this is a child not a glorified pet bug

Because the rest of the blood colors grub are normal looking for insect grubs

tbf, grubs are mimics of other alternian species larval forms. but still kind of depressing!! discrimination against troll bbs isn't good, though i could see there being legitimate reasons not to keep specific infant troll morphs with human infants--teals grubs aren't even allowed around other grubs, they're FEROCIOUS. and ceruleans are no doubt nippy as hell. bitey little babbies. but a rustblood grub is just a fat happy useless baby, let them sit!! let them do baby things!!!

now im thinking abt it. hold the baby spider. big fluffy. makes little baby noises. its important to take them outside and give them lots of experiences. take that thing to the zoo!!!! id think that parents of more mobile grub species would probably use a halter to make sure their baby stays in the stroller, or carry their kiddo in their arms. im imagining a human or a troll might also sometimes play 'lusus' with their baby, pretending to be a big monster taking care of their kid just like in old times... :) bug babies.
