what’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

I once told my mom that I feel like all my friends and everyone I know took a bus to adulthood that I somehow missed and now every day im trying to hunt it down, but it's just so fast and I just can't catch up. Its right there in front of my nose but I can't quite make it. She then said: I don't understand why you don't just get back to the busstop and wait for the next one? There is not only one bus going, you know. needless to say I cried my eyes out.

skill or talent? xD None such things exist in my house ahaha Well I used to be sporty when I was younger, was really really good in.. eh PE i guess you guys would say. I even wrote one of my final exams in sport theory. But if you are unliked in school people will let it out on you with every way they can and so I was picked last in every team game (even in field hockey and i played field hockey in a club dfadshf), just beacuse they hate you. So I started skipping classes and after school I gave up on sports for many many years.
