People always ask me why I went into facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery. It’s the anatomy. The face has the most intricate and lovely anatomy of the body. ☠️💀👁Studying in the cadaver lab today @usc with @galderma for expert injector training was a great flashback to Gross Anatomy lab in med school. Medical school was tough- long hours, memorization, dissections, surgical residency training- all of it making me the surgeon that I am. Today’s cadaver lab was reminder of the thrill I get from this delicate anatomy. As an injector- you have a lot of responsibility... responsibility to know anatomy, study and push the boundaries of your knowledge, and inject safely. Med students, enjoy those days in the anatomy lab! They go so fast.
