First winter squash on our "roof" garden. The vine is in a 15-gallon Smart Pot, in a rich but lightweight organic potting mix made with our first batch of compost, bio-char, and worm castings from our worm bin, with live worms. We planted it a little over 3 weeks ago, and the main vine is already 14' long, and sending out side shoots.
