I just beat Jamil, mf is so hard, I somehow couldn't beat him again?!?! Idk how, Luke I had the EXACT same set up cause I realized I missed the story after the fight. So now I'm slightly pissed bout that, but I'm going to fight an attempted murderer from what I've been told (idc for spoilers, please spoil it cause then I can mentally prep myself for it)

JAMIL WAS SO FUCKIN HARD

I had a hard time with Vil, but Jamil was just... Career ender. The second attack of the third round tends to be the worst one and Jamil's was just... No. No. Please, stop.

:SPOILERS for Book 5:

Vil tries to kill Neige with his curse, kinda how Evil Queen tries to kill Snow White with a poisoned apple. Honestly, that doesn't affect the fight much... EXCEPT

Except that Vil places a "Poisoned" status that kinda fucks with the other statuses? I haven't found much information on status in the game tutorials or even in the wiki, but from what I saw, it lowers the chance of a card restoring HP by A LOT. To the point they don't fuckin restore anything! It probably does the same with the other good status, but I was too preoccupied with crying about the HP not restoring

My advice? Get all the cards you're using at least to level 50 (Groovify all of them if possible), upgrade their skills until you get their effects (no need to upgrade them more, though, materials for skills are a bit hard to get, so you want them to go where it matters), the Cosmo/Void element is only good if the card has really high attack or the skill has good effects. The second attack of the third round is always a Flora one, so make sure the character facing it is a Fire element so the damage you receive is less (I used Dorm Uniform Riddle, which happens to be my strongest card). If you have an SSR with a skill that allows Buddy attack, USE IT (the support card from my friend was Dorm Uniform Jack, who has a Buddy attack with Ruggie, which saved my ass)

And, finally: restart the fight as many times as necessary, because what attacks the opponent and you have available are all dependant on luck.

Beanfest part 2 is here and Vil was extremely kind to me on his birthday! I got his card in one pull and Rook came home today in only one pull too! So now I’m more than ready for the Pomefiore rate up when their chapter comes around in EN.
