I SOOO proud of this drawing. like, completely went past what i thought i could do.

Though this is *technically* a part 2 of a wip i didn’t finish yet, it can be it’s standalone thing, idk

it took me 12 hours all together, which sucks because when i al’s most finished the lines i was like “wow, i’m gonna do a record on this one” no the lineart took another 6 hours and then the coloring a 4.

They make me happy

Rocket has a breakdown and Groot holds him. i Imagine sometimes Rocket has flashbacks/attacks where he doesn’t know what’s going on and goes on defense mode, and Groot tries to help him through these (though he get’s hurt a bit in the process, because Rocket just doesn’t want to be touched right now and is kinda out of it.) Add on the fact i think he has a problem with being immobilized (no evidence, just my inconsistant head cannon) because of his past w/ the H.E.’s experiments and stuff. Groot’s flowers kind of represent his love and pain, like he hates that his friend is in pain like this and doesn’t really know how to help, so he just helps in the only way he knows how.

Btw i rly like their relationship in the comics.
