Day 27 of #grohliciousaugust ~ Surprisingly good, actually... To be quite honest when I heard the was coming out I really didn't know what to expect. How the hell could he follow up to The Shining??🤷🏻‍♂️. But he did it!!! Day 25 of #grohliciousaugust ~ Things you love in a book. The Broken Empire by @mark___lawrence for me has everything I love in a book. Fantasy, horror, action, a ruthless main character, death, magic, supernatural aspects and it hooks ya right from the beginning!! Day 24 of #grohliciousaugust ~ Book with a killer ending. Day 17 of #grohliciousaugust ~ Book Vs Movie. I grew up watching The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and absolutely loved it!! Who wouldn't want to find a secret door in your wardrobe to a magical kingdom..😀 Never read the book until after this newest adaption was released. And even though I still loved it, it wasn't the same. I do think that there are some books that hold more magic in them when you read them as a kid. This was one of those book for me.
