Character Profile: Hayden

Full Name: Hayden Sigeberht Ayers Kingdom: Grissirynn Generation: 1

Hayden is the younger sister of Gareth Sweeney and the secondary heir to the Sweeney clan. As the secondary heir, she was raised knowing that she would likely be married off for the benefit of the clan. As she and her brother grew, they remained close but found themselves following different paths when he began to take his role as future leader more seriously, much to her disappointment. She is known for her blunt, sometimes rude, comments, never holding back her opinions. She is, however, very reserved in her emotions, like all Sweeney, to keep her magic under control. Her marriage to Morwen Ayers creates a strong political alliance uniting the newly formed Grissirynn and Epherial kingdoms. This also made the two strongest magic users in Tebos cousin clans. Hayden’s main goal is to help the Grissirynn people tame their wild lands.

Character Profile: Glyn

Full Name: Morwen Glynis Ayers Kingdom: Glissirynn Generation: 1

Morwen is the head of the Ayer's clan and becomes the first king of the Grissirynn Kingdom. Like the rest of his clan, he recognizes the instability of their magic as a significant risk needing to be fixed. After some careful thought with Gareth Sweeney, he developed a theory that Sweeney blood could mitigate the effects of the Ayer’s Fae-based magic’s toll on their minds. When he builds the kingdom, with his marriage to Hayden Sweeney, he places the Fae as the kingdom symbol to honour the relationship his clan has held with them for centuries. He chooses lavender and aqua as kingdom colours to reflect the iridescent sky over their island kingdom. He is known for his charismatic and charming personality and ruthless temper.

Grissirynn Kingdom

The Grissirynn Kingdom was united by the Ayers clan. The Ayers were known for their skewed sense of morality and love for chaos. Unlike the other few clans of the Grissirynn Island, the Ayers were able to procure magic from the local faeries, creating a bond between the fae and members of the Ayers clan. Until intermarrying with the Sweeney at the start of the kingdom, their magic and minds were known to be unpredictable. Using Sweeney blood to stabilize their magical abilities, the Ayers became a kingdom to avoid due to their calculated ruthlessness. They are open to trade, but nothing more with other kingdoms, excluding their cousin kingdom, Ephariel.

Character Profile: Doru

Full Name: Doru Toma Albescu Kingdom: Grissirynn Generation: 4

Doru is the second child of Kolya and Lana. He becomes a magic scholar, enjoying studying the local fae. While being a vampyre restricts him from only working outside the castle at night, it doesn’t stop him from meeting with the fae and Princess Enna often. Doru is known for his short temper and quiet nature. He can easily go days without speaking, but gets very short with his siblings. He misses their parents the most out of the siblings and hopes to one day free them from Avis’ vampyre testing program.

Character Profile: Dori

Full Name: Dorin Razvan Albescu Kingdom: Grissirynn Generation: 4

Dorin is the youngest of Kolya and Lana's children. Dorin works closely with Prince Erik, assisting him with his torture sessions on captives. He, like his sibling Dragomir, is a skilled fighter. Dorin prefers to be in tight quarters and fights with a specially made dagger that was purposely made to be jagged for maximizing the pain and damage caused by it. He is known for his bubbly personality that contrasts with the quiet and angry personalities of his siblings. He is still discovering what his physical limitations are as a vampyre as he didn’t have much time with his parents before being sent to Grissirynn.

Character Profile: Drago

Full Name: Dragomir Sorin Albescu Kingdom: Grissirynn Kingdom Generation: 4

Drago is the eldest child of Lana and Kolya, they are gifted to Prince Owain during his coronation as the heir to the Grissirynn throne. While young, Drago enjoyed researching magic under Kolya. After transfering kingdoms, Drago quickly makes friends with Prince Erik, due to his pursuit of magic knowledge. Drago becomes known as a knowledge keeper and becomes a night guard for the kingdom. They are skilled in combat magic and prefers to fight in close quarters with their hands or small daggers.

Prompt #3:"Okay, show me." Original Fiction: Broken Mirrors Series Rating:  T Warnings: Mentions of death, war, manipulation

Alexander couldn’t believe his ears, this couldn’t be happening, how was she even able to do this?

“Okay Isabella, show me.”

His eyes widened as he turned to Lovino, did his best friend not hear the same thing he did?

“Lovi, you can’t be serious. She-”

Alexander flinched as Lovino glared at him, “If she has a way to bring back the dead, why shouldn’t I investigate it?”

He couldn’t believe his best friend, he had to know this was not a good idea, “Because it’s unstable, old, dark magic that even scared the Sweeney and Ayers Clan.”

Lovino’s glare hardened, “And?”

“And?! And they are the most powerful magic clans in Tebos! If they’ve sworn off raising the dead then it either can’t be done or the cost is too high.”

Isabella shrugged, walking away from them, “Or they don’t value life as much as us. We’d give anything to have our loved ones back, right Lovino? Nothing is too steep a price.”

To Alexander’s horror, Lovino nodded as he began to follow her retreating form, “They started this war, so why shouldn’t they pay the price to return those they slayed?”

Alexander couldn’t understand where he drew that conclusion, “What are you saying? You know it was your aunt and mother that started this war.”

“No, it was King Wyn. If the Sweeney clan wasn’t so high and mighty, the Epherial Kingdom wouldn’t have stepped out of line against us!”

Alexander glared at Isaeblla’s back, she was the one putting these ideas into his friend’s head. He wouldn’t be saying any of this if she hadn’t wormed her way into their ranks. She may have been born in Epherial, but she was born with the bloodthirsty spirit of the Avis Kingdom she called home.

“Look, Lovi, let's just talk to Alice. Hell, we can take your dragon over to the Grissirynn Island and talk to the Ayers trio! There’s no way you should just jump into this without asking them. I’m sure Isabella’s done her research, but their families made those spells.”

“Alex, I’ve made my decision. You’re either with me or against me.”

Alexander sighed, he couldn’t let him do this on his own, “Fine, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
