This golden gown, embroidered with flowers on its bodice and skirt, appeared in the enchanting fairy tale series 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒔 𝒂𝒖𝒇 𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒊𝒄𝒉 (𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒎’𝒔 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔) not once but twice!   In 2015, it was worn by Collien Ulmen-Fernandes as Zuckerfee in 𝑵𝒖𝒔𝒔𝒌𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴ä𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒌ö𝒏𝒊𝒈 (𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈), before going on to be worn by Alexandra Martini as Isabella in 𝑫𝒊𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒛𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒛𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏 (𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔).   The dress reemerged in 2022, on Irene Della Casa as the Baroness Francesca in 𝑫𝒊𝒆 𝑲𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏 (𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔).   Let us know what you think of this costume! It started with Duskwood in World of Warcraft, then an idea about children growing up in an isolated castle beset by wargs. Eventually, it became a retelling of lesser-known Grimm’s fairy tales and a message about love, death, and finding home. I think of this as a fairy tale for myself: dark but hopeful, gloomy but comforting, like sitting beside a fireplace, eating warm bread, and listening to stories while a snowstorm brews outside. . Drawlloween 2021 Day 8: Sleeping Beauty Synopsis: girl cursed to die via spinning wheel due to her parents being shitty neighbors. They try to work around it negotiate with her other fairy godmothers to sleep. #youcantavoidfate she gets a little prick goes to sleep usually with her whole kingdom. Roses and thorns grow everywhere. Many try to weed wack none prevails until the last. Some versions she woken by a Kiss, some childbirth ( don’t think too long on that one) Had fun with the roses. Also wanted her to be in a position more like she fell? Than was placed. Added the bones of those who failed.
