NOCTSCAR. YES. Uhhhhhh lemme see.

-Was five years old when he Remembered because of a near death experience. Having the life and death of a Chosen King (and thus all the memories he absorbed from the Crystal dumped in your head as a tiny child is- not good. mental health wise. He had Sick Days and Quiet Days and even trouble differentiating himself from the voices and it scared his aunt half to death.

-His aunt is awesome as well. Never had him committed even though he absolutely acted crazy until he learned to cope with the voices. She helped him piece his identity back together and cope with what she thought was a very strange and dangerous Semblance. She knows about the voices in his head, and that sometimes one will pop up louder than the others and force him into a Quiet Day.

-Noctscar is 100% content to life his second life on a farm as a farm boy. He ... he has lifetimes of kings and queens and adventures in his head, particularly Noctis’s, who he knows was his actual last life. He doesn’t really want a new adventure all that much when he can instead help his Aunt on the farm and sink his magic into the soil as a passive Blessing until it becomes to Grimm what a Haven was to daemons.

-Then Ozpin crash lands in his head.

-And after some ... investigation. Well. Oscar is too much like Noctis was. He cannot resist a cry for help like this.

-Noctscar and Ozpin get along super well, because they both have experience in the “multiple lifetimes and memories” thing. Noctscar is also pretty chill with Ozpin fronting? Like- he doesn’t like it if Ozpin tries to take over without warning (which Ozpin can’t because Noctscar has way more magic than him) but Noctscar tends to let Ozpin front a few times a week so the man can do things OTHER than save the world. Like reading a book or indulging in a hobby. After Noctscar joins up with the main cast, they start taking bets on who has what reading taste and hobby. Is that Oscar baking or Ozpin? Is Ozpin the one who knows how to play guitar or is Ozpin the one who discreetly collects knitting needles and yarn? It’s almost like a game to guess who it is smiling mildly at them as they whisper to themselves and try to guess.

-Noctscar’s aunt comes with him in this verse, because Noctscar trusts her enough to tell her about Ozpin and there’s no way she’s letting her nephew run off with only the voices in his head as adult supervision.

-Noctscar’s aunt is epic. Gonna say that now. She’s a farmer lady who runs a farm mostly by herself and raised her nephew through his catastrophic reincarnation awakening and if you think you can push her boy around she will punch you through a wall Qrow.

-Noctscar’s Retinue did not reincarnate with him but that is okay because I shall give him a new one.

-Say hello to your new baby brother Jaune Hand, Ren Heart, and Nora Shield. :3333.

-LUNA IS SOMEONE WHO EXISTS.

-She has replaced a canon character. I am ... attempting to resist spilling who right off the bat. But we all know my impulse control sucks so. Give it a few days and I’ll probably spill. XD

2. What color and style is your hair? Naturally it is brown. At the moment it’s black. (Noctis’ shade of black, sexy~) It’s shoulder length with many layers, so a lot like Noctis’ hair style!

3. What color are your eyes? Light green! (Though when sick they look yellow and when depressed dark green)

4. Do you wear glasses? Yes! I’m blind as Blind!Ignis without them!

5. Do you have braces? Nope, perfect straight teeth from the start.

6. What is your fashion sense? Um, I flaunt what I have, so low cut tops and skirts/jeans that showcase my ass. (I am proud of the hourglass figure!) A lot of colors and strange out of style anime shirts.

7. Do you have any siblings? I have a younger brother, 29 he’s a punk.

8. What kind of student are you? I was a teacher’s pet always called “brown nosers” because I did whatever they wanted the second they asked. Other students beat me up for the answers all the time.

rwby ffxv au pt. 1

i originally thought that if someone was to do a rwby ffxv au that it would be oscar in a noctis-like role, but then i realized, no, it’s pyrrha. also, instead of warping the royal line has magnet powers among others. nora would be her shield (oscar as her little brother??) jaune would def fill the prompto/commoner bff role (note, that means the chief scientist is evil jaune dad who had no equivalent in rwby yet), and ren as pyrrha’s advisor. meanwhile ruby is the oracle (silver eyes kill/purify grimm parallels) and yang in a ravus type role. i think ozpin would be the king. salem would ardyn, but like different bc he’s a skeevy old man and she’s a cold classy bitch. blake is araena with sun and neptune as biggs and wedge. i’d have to think more about other characters. the “maidens” and the brothers are the gods, with summer being the shiva/gentina parallel, except in a more motherly role bc she reminds ruby of her mom, the previous oracle, also named summer. spring/raven is the betrayer here, not the god of darkness, bc she is for survival of the fittest and also a coward so she’s given up on humanity/the prophecy. the brother of darkness would be more of the leviathan here. god of light as bahumet cause they’re both super powerful dudes who don’t really deal with their problems and push/force them on to others whilst maintaining an illusion of choice leading to sad stuff... the relics are some of the royal arms in this, the rest are the canon team rwby/jnpr/sn weapons. ruby has her scythe, which is the weapon pyrrha gets last :(, the ring has some cool timestop powers in this universe too. cinder’s the empress of atlas(nieflhiem), emerald’s the hieress and up and coming general. the schnees are there too, but their children defected and wiess and winter are super prim and proper, but are hunters and leave whitley under the care of glinda who runs an auto shop.

the plot would be similar to ffxv, but you know tweaked to fit rwby characters. so deamons are called grimm.

so like 1000 years ago salem was a healer with the bf ozma who had similar powers and they even had a kid!! they rule mistral together and are good rulers despite the grimm everywhere. but her healing powers cause her to absorb the grimm and eventually she becomes corrupted and they cause her more power-hunger tendencies to come out, becoming more and more dictator-like and controlling. eventually she thinks she’s the chosen queen and she goes to the crystal and it rejects her and she hides this. eventually the god of light goes down to ozma and their now 18 year old child and is like, salem lied to you, she’s not the chosen queen and i need you guys to lead her into a trap before she leads the world into darkness. at first they’re like wft, but then realize that things aren’t getting better, the grimm are getting worse, the nights are getting longer, and salem is getting more and more out of control, so they do it. they lead her into a trap. however, salem figures it out and manages to kill ozma. so their kid is super traumatized and also the first of thier line and have to keep the crystal and ring safe. good thing they’re got the help of the first oracle, maria calavera rose, from the kingdom of vale.

jump forward 1000 years to lady pyrrha, first of her name, crown princess of mistral leaving home to wed the lady ruby rose of vale as part of a peace treaty between mistral and atlas. accompanying her is her shield/bodyguard nora valkyrie, her advisor lie ren, and her best friend/best man, and the official photographer of the trip, jaune arc. however, their car breaks down and they aren’t even 2 hours out of the city yet...
