Went looking for some @lostballparks yesterday in #WashingtonDC and found the commemorative home plate markers for both #GriffithStadium and 1886’s #CapitolPark aka #SwampdoodleGrounds. Griffith Stadium, home to the #WashingtonSenators and the legendary #HomesteadGrays of the #NegroLeagues stood until 1965 and is commemorated inside the halls of @HowardUniversityHospital.
