Trolls and Cherubs LARPing as stereotypes is funny. Years ago i remember someone gave Nepeta a French accent and i couldn't unhear it since. And it works too! The French love the arts, and wearing animal pelts, and romance, all things Nepeta likes. French Nepeta is better than davekat

French Nepeta is better than Davekat. I also think if someone tries to cosplay as a troll and use grey body paint or face paint, I just imagine them being accused as grayface (like blackface). The trolls get pissed and react the same way as the partygoers did in Smiling Friends. Exactly the same way.

You know, Gorgon Lady, it's nice to meet another someone that is loved by their machine. I mostly work with IPS-N mech pilots, so sometimes it feels like I'm the only one. Also, why did they edit the make-up off Mierfa in the new one? The actual canon panel shows the character with blue lipstick at least; and Sweet Bro's face is very memorable, make-up or not. Did they think it looked too much like Vriska with it on or something?

Either people might have mistaken it for Vriska or that people think his crossdressing as a way to trick Tavros is offensive to actual trans people and crossdressers. Whatever the reason, it probably is still dumb as censoring the body horror. Surprised nobody thought of the implication that what Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff did was racist if anything. Like putting on grey paint to imitate the trolls. That's graywashing when you think about it. Calliope has done it too. Cosplayed as a troll by using grey skin paint. But she never asked Karkat or anyone else if it's okay that she can do that. She's being racist whenever she uses her trollsona.
