While adventuring, I visited the set where the Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit was filmed. Stepping onto the farm that houses The Shire- Hobbiton, was like stepping into my imagination. This was a special experience because J.R.R Tolkien books played a major part in my childhood. As in the previous post, on April 20th, I was able to visit @hobbitontours as part of an @aucklandandbeyond tour package. This collection includes my personal favorites in Hobbiton: 1. The 'Happy Ending House' featured at the end of Return of The King, where we see Samwise Gamgee and Rosie Cotton with their new family (Fun Fact: The girl playing Elanor Gamgee was Alexandra Astin, @seanastin daughter. Her expressions from seeing him were legit as she hadn't seen her father in three months. It makes it even more heartwarming to know that Sean wasn't aware of this arrangement until she made her appearance in the film. As for the Frodo Gamgee, that was Sara McLeod's infant daughter, Maisy). 2. The house of Bilbo Baggins! His pipe was present, but Baggins was nowhere. 3. At least he left a note. 4. The fate of 'Old Brown'. 5.
