APHRODITE

Then: Aphrodite is the Greek Goddess of Love, Beauty and Pleasure. She is depicted as a beautiful jealous woman that everyone gets enchanted. The attraction starts to divert towards a maiden named Psyche who is stated to be the most beautiful mortal girl of Earth. Aphrodite gets jealous of all the attention of the people paid to Psyche. She commands her son Eros (Cupid, God of Love) to put a spell on Psyche so that she falls in love with the most hideous man of Earth. He obediently heads towards Psyche to strike her with his darts but eventually he fell for the maiden.

Now: Aphrodite can represent a young lady who adores her beauty. She is more beautiful than Marilyn Monroe. She loves hanging out with her girl gangs and can’t get enough of gossips. She is mostly seen in shopping malls, buying new clothes and makeup products. She cannot see anyone prettier than her and tries to ruin the girl’s image she hates.
