I answered this one a few days ago so I'm gonna copy and paste the answer

Both my parents wanted a name that would allow them to call me Luci/Lu. My mom liked Lucila and my dad liked Lucía, but they didn't like each other's choices.

My dad said that why would they call me Lucila if there already is a town on the coastline called Lucila del Mar, and my mom didn't like Lucía just because. So they ended up choosing my actual name which has nothing to do with those two or anything alike.
