How can I study for the GRE in two months?
how to prepare for gre in 2 months Introduction
The GRE exam is the gold standard for graduate school admissions, and preparing for it in 2 months requires discipline and patience. To prepare, create a study schedule, seek help from experts, and learn the necessary skills while balancing leisure activities like sleeping or eating. By focusing on these aspects, you can achieve success in the test and secure a good school admission.
Create a study schedule
Create a study schedule and schedule time for studying each day. Aim for 3-4 days per week, with the amount of time varying depending on your schedule. For example, Wednesday may be the day you spend more time studying, while Thursday may only take 2 hours to complete assignments and review learning.
Schedule breaks throughout the day, including breakfast, playtime with friends or family, and fitness activities like jogging. These breaks should not only be coffee breaks or lunchtime but should also include non-academic activities like playtime with friends or family.
Get help from the experts
To improve your GRE exam preparation, seek help from experts, either in person or online, or utilize free resources. While GRE prep apps may seem helpful at first glance, it's best to stick with tried-and-true methods before embracing new technologies. It's crucial to avoid distractions and focus on effective study methods.
Start with the basics
The GRE test is a standardized exam assessing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills for graduate school in the US. It comprises three sections: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. The test allows two hours per section or one day for a more flexible approach.
Memorize common words, phrases and idioms
The GRE tests vocabulary by evaluating understanding of words' meanings, context, and roots. To avoid confusion, it is essential to recognize both the meanings and roots of words. Use flashcards with pictures to remember definitions and phrases. The GRE also tests understanding of common idioms, such as "kicking the bucket" and "two heads are better than one," which have meaning beyond literal translations. Studying these expressions will help ensure no surprises on test day.
[Know more: How to Prepare Your Mind for the GRE Exam]
Focus on verb forms instead of nouns
Verb forms are crucial in sentences as they convey the meaning and actions of the speaker. With over 200 verb roots in English, they make up the largest part of the vocabulary list, with only 30 nouns. To improve your GRE score, focus on learning as many verbs as possible without memorizing all their forms.
Learn common patterns of sentences and types of paragraphs
Sentence structure is crucial for learning, as it involves recognizing a sentence in context. A sentence typically consists of a subject and an object, with the object being either a noun or pronoun. The verb in a sentence links two things together, either as an action verb or a linking verb like "to be."
It is possible to prepare for GRE in 2 months.
For just two months, coaching for GRE exam or self study requires motivation, discipline, and focus. Consistency and patience are essential, even when things don't go as planned. Persistence and organization are crucial during this period, as it helps manage various tasks such as studying for the exam, preparing a schedule, and tracking progress. Despite any setbacks, persistence and practice will lead to better results.
Conclusion
This article suggests that preparing for the GRE in two months requires significant effort. To prepare, create a study schedule and stick to it. Seek help from experts to guide you through difficult areas. Practice makes perfect, as more practice tests before the exam day, the better prepared you will be for the actual exam.

Eligibility For Master in Management: Your Complete Guide
The Master’s in Management (MiM) has become an increasingly popular choice for recent graduates and young professionals looking to kickstart their careers in business. Unlike traditional MBA programs, which often need several years of work experience, the MiM is tailored for those at the beginning of their professional journey.
But before you dive into the application process, it’s crucial to understand the eligibility for Master in Management programs. This guide will walk you through the key eligibility criteria and application requirements, ensuring you’re well-prepared to take the next step in your academic journey.
What is a Master’s in Management (MiM)?
A MiM is a graduate degree focused on foundational business education. It's designed for individuals who may have little to no work experience but want to build a solid understanding of management and business practices. The program typically covers a range of business topics, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategy, and often includes practical elements like internships or company projects.
Understanding the Eligibility for Master in Management
Eligibility for Master in Management program varies by institution, but there are some common criteria that most schools will consider:
Educational Background:
To meet the eligibility for Master in Management programs, you generally need to have a bachelor’s degree. This degree can be in any field, though some programs may prefer candidates with a background in business or economics.
Academic Performance:
Strong academic performance is a key factor in determining eligibility for Master in Management programs. Many top MiM programs look for applicants who have demonstrated excellence in their undergraduate studies. While a specific GPA requirement may not be stated, a GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is generally competitive.
Standardized Tests:
While some MiM programs may require standardized test scores, such as the GMAT or GRE, others may waive this requirement, especially if the applicant has a strong academic record.
Work Experience:
Unlike MBA programs, MiM programs do not typically require significant work experience. Most MiM applicants have less than two years of professional experience.
Language Proficiency:
For international applicants, demonstrating proficiency in English is often required to meet the eligibility for Master in Management programs. Commonly accepted tests include the TOEFL and IELTS. Some schools may also accept the Cambridge English exams.
Letters of Recommendation:
Most MiM programs require one or two letters of recommendation. These should come from individuals who can attest to your academic abilities, work ethic, and potential for success in a business environment.
Personal Statement or Essay:
A personal statement or essay is your chance to tell your story. Why do you want to pursue a MiM? What are your career goals? How will the program help you achieve them? Schools are looking for applicants who are self-aware, motivated, and have a clear vision for their future.
Understanding the Application Process
Once you understand the eligibility for Master in Management programs, the next step is to navigate the application process effectively. Here’s a breakdown of the key components:
Researching Programs:
Start by researching MiM programs to find the ones that align with your career goals. Consider factors like the program’s curriculum, faculty, location, alumni network, and ranking. Make a shortlist of programs that fit your profile and aspirations.
Preparing for Standardized Tests:
If the programs you’re interested in need the GMAT or GRE, begin your preparation early. These tests can be challenging, and a good score often requires several months of study. Consider using test prep books, online resources, or enrolling in a prep course.
Gathering Application Materials:
Once you’ve selected your target programs, gather the necessary documents. These typically include transcripts, letters of recommendation, test scores, and proof of language proficiency. Make sure you have everything in order before you start the application.
Writing Your Essays:
Take your time crafting your personal statement or essay. This is your chance to make a strong impression, so be honest, thoughtful, and reflective. Tailor each essay to the specific program you’re applying to, highlighting how the program’s strengths align with your career goals.
Interview Preparation:
Some MiM programs require an interview as part of the application process. If you’re invited for an interview, prepare by practicing common questions and reviewing your application materials. Be ready to discuss your academic background, career aspirations, and why you’re interested in the MiM program.
Application Deadlines:
Pay close attention to application deadlines, as they vary by program. Some schools have multiple rounds of admissions, while others have a single deadline. It’s often a good idea to apply early, as this can increase your chances of admission and scholarship consideration.
Conclusion
Understanding the eligibility for Master in Management programs is the first step toward pursuing this valuable degree. A MiM can open doors to leadership roles and global opportunities, especially for those at the beginning of their careers. By researching programs, preparing a strong application, and staying organized, you can increase your chances of being admitted to a top MiM program. Start early, be authentic, and approach the process with confidence. Your future in management awaits!

How can a student effectively prepare for an undergraduate aptitude test?
Conquering the Undergraduate Aptitude Test: Aima's Guide to Success
Ah, the undergraduate aptitude test (UGAT) – that hurdle standing between you and your dream college program. But fear not, future scholar! With the right approach, you can not only clear this test but excel in it. Aima is here to equip you with the knowledge and strategies to dominate the UGAT.
Step 1: Know Thy Enemy
Before diving into practice problems, understand the specific UGAT you'll be facing. Is it a general test like the SAT or ACT, or is it specific to a particular field, like a graduate aptitude test (GRE) for a Master's program (remember, the GRE is for grad school!)? Knowing the test format, content areas (verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, etc.), and time constraints is crucial.
Here's how to gather intel:
Official Website: Most UGATs have an official website with detailed information about the test, including sample questions and registration procedures.
College Admissions Office: Contact the admissions office of your target colleges. They may provide specific UGAT requirements or recommend preparatory resources.
Test Prep Books and Online Resources: Reputable publishers offer UGAT prep books with practice tests and explanations. Many online platforms offer UGAT prep courses, practice questions, and study guides.
Step 2: Build Your Arsenal
Now that you understand the UGAT's structure, it's time to build your problem-solving arsenal.
Focus on Core Skills: Most UGATs assess critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Sharpen these skills through practice tests, brain teasers, and logic puzzles.
Brush Up on Fundamentals: Revisit core concepts from your high school curriculum, especially math, English, and reading comprehension. Identify areas needing improvement and dedicate focused study time to them.
Master the Vocab: UGATs often test vocabulary. Build your vocabulary through flashcards, online resources, or simply reading challenging material.
Step 3: Practice Makes Perfect
The key to UGAT success is consistent, strategic practice. Here's how to make the most of it:
Timed Practice Tests: Simulate the actual test environment by taking timed practice tests under exam conditions. This will help you develop time management skills and identify areas where you struggle with speed.
Analyze Your Performance: Don't just blindly solve practice questions. After each attempt, analyze your mistakes, understand the concepts involved, and review relevant study material.
Focus on Weaknesses: Don't neglect your strengths for the sake of weaknesses. However, dedicate more practice time to areas that consistently trip you up.
Step 4: Conquer Test Day Anxiety
Test anxiety can be a real roadblock.
Get a Good Night's Sleep: Being well-rested is crucial for clear thinking and focus.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fuel your brain with a nutritious breakfast that will keep you energized throughout the test.
Relaxation Techniques: Practice deep breathing exercises or meditation to calm your nerves before and during the test.
Positive Self-Talk: Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations like "I am prepared" and "I can do this."
Step 5: Beyond the Test
The UGAT is just one piece of your college application puzzle. Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
Maintain Strong Academics: Your high school GPA remains a significant factor in college admissions. Maintain strong academic performance throughout your high school career.
Extracurricular Activities: Showcase your well-roundedness through extracurricular activities, volunteer experiences, or leadership roles.
Personal Statement: Craft a compelling personal statement that highlights your unique experiences, aspirations, and suitability for your chosen program.
Remember: Aima is here to support you on your academic journey. Utilize our resources, stay focused, and approach the UGAT with confidence. With dedication and the right strategies, you'll conquer this test and take a giant leap towards achieving your academic goals!

Preparing for Standardized Tests: Effective Study Strategies and Resources
Standardized tests are a significant part of the college admissions process and can play a crucial role in determining your educational opportunities. While these tests may seem intimidating, effective preparation can boost your confidence and improve your performance. In this article, we will explore various study strategies and resources to help you prepare for standardized tests successfully.
Understand the Test Format: Before diving into your study routine, familiarize yourself with the test format and structure. Whether it's the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, or any other standardized test, review the sections, question types, time limits, and scoring systems. Understanding the test's structure will allow you to develop targeted study plans and strategies.
Create a Study Schedule: Developing a study schedule is crucial for consistent and effective test preparation. Assess your available time, set realistic study goals, and create a schedule that includes designated study blocks. Be sure to allocate time for reviewing content, practising sample questions, and taking full-length practice tests. Consistency and regular practice will build your knowledge and test-taking skills over time.
Use Official Study Materials: Utilize official study materials provided by the test administrators. These materials are specifically designed to familiarize you with the content, question types, and difficulty levels of the test. Official study guides, practice tests, and online resources offer reliable and accurate preparation materials to help you become comfortable with the test format.
Practice with Sample Questions: Working through sample questions is an effective way to understand the test's content and question style. Start with individual sections and gradually progress to full-length practice tests. As you practice, focus on identifying patterns, understanding the reasoning behind correct answers, and learning from your mistakes. Many online platforms and test prep books provide a wide range of sample questions for various standardized tests.
Take Full-Length Practice Tests: Taking full-length practice tests under simulated test conditions is crucial for assessing your progress and building endurance. Set aside time to complete practice tests in a distraction-free environment, adhering to the official time limits. Analyze your performance, identify areas of strength and weakness, and use the results to adjust your study focus. Taking multiple practice tests will help you become familiar with the timing, pacing, and stamina required for the actual test day.
Utilize Test Prep Resources: Consider utilizing additional test prep resources, such as online courses, tutoring services, and study groups. These resources can provide structured guidance, personalized feedback, and expert strategies tailored to your needs. Research reputable test prep companies or seek recommendations from teachers, friends, or college counselors to find the right resource for you.
Supplement with Subject-Specific Materials: For tests that include subject-specific sections, such as the SAT Subject Tests or Advanced Placement (AP) exams, supplement your study materials with subject-specific resources. Use textbooks, study guides, online tutorials, and practice exams to strengthen your knowledge in those particular areas.
Take Care of Yourself: In addition to focused studying, prioritize self-care during your test preparation. Get enough sleep, maintain a balanced diet, and engage in regular physical exercise. Taking care of your well-being will help you stay energized, focused, and mentally sharp during the test.
Conclusion: Preparing for standardized tests requires a systematic approach and effective study strategies. By understanding the test format, creating a study schedule, utilizing official materials, practising with sample questions and full-length tests, and exploring additional resources, you can enhance your test performance and build confidence. Remember to take care of yourself throughout the preparation process. With consistent effort, perseverance, and the right resources, you'll be well-prepared to tackle standardized tests and achieve your desired scores.

Essential Advice for Online Entrance Examinations and LOR Writing
Most students preparing for an education abroad are more focused on looking for a LOR writing service. Now if you are doing the same, it's time to realise that your online entrance tests are equally important.
Hence, if you are about to sit for such a test, along with preparing through a LOR writing service, you must also check what the excerpts have to say. These are mentioned below -
Start reading online:
Before searching queries like ''I need SAT prep classes near me'', you must do some self-study which begins with an internet medium of reading.
During your exam, you will be staring at a computer screen for up to three hours straight, which is not easy.
Hence, you should gradually develop the habit of adjusting with screen timing.
You can definitely take breaks in between, but you must also understand the amount of light that can help you stay active during online exams.
For example, create the habit of reading as much internet news, blogs, etc., each day by starting today.
Keep Practising on Online Platforms
The saying , ‘practice makes perfect’ never goes outdated.
You will gain a better understanding of your subject as well as its tactics and procedures, which will increase your chances of succeeding.
Online tests, on the other hand, need you to become more proficient at using a computer.
You must be sounder with online exam platforms, certain terms, online registrations etc.
Skills with time management
Plan ahead before starting; you should have a clear idea of the order of portions to attempt and the allotted time for each component.
Also, avoid focusing on one section for longer than necessary on tests with sectional cutoff patterns.
Moreover, don't save complicated questions for the end. Be in your comfort zone, play wisely, and score well because, believe me, the ticking time will hinder your production in those last moments.
Be mindful of your time
Another time-saving tip for study abroad!
Don't waste time looking at every question because only one will be shown at a time according to the format of online tests.
The wise course of action would be to choose questions sequentially.
Avoid the hit and attempt the strategy; choose the questions you are completely confident answering.
Recall that the goal isn't to answer every question; rather, the questions you choose will make all the difference.
Keep moving forward instead of sticking with one question; you can always go back to those questions later.
Try these hacks the next time you sit for an online entrance test.
These steps are iimportant for abroad study in UK & other country.

How to Become a Clinical Psychologist
Where do I begin?
→ By this point, you may be wondering where to even begin. I won’t lie to you, the pathway that I will explain in just a second is not an easy one. This career path will take extreme amounts of hard work and dedication. If you are looking to be rich, this is not the career for you. With hard work, it will end up paying off and you will be making a lot of money for your work. However, the 10 years between your undergraduate and graduate degrees and training could be spent elsewhere if money is your sole purpose. For those of you that are still with me and are interested in some hard work, let’s take a look at the steps to become a clinical psychologist:
1) Obtain your undergraduate degree!
→ Depending on what level of education you currently find yourself, you will first need to obtain your Bachelor’s degree. Your undergraduate major is really up to you. Most will stay true to the path and get their degrees in psychology which is definitely helpful when applying for graduate school because you have already taken many required courses. However, you theoretically can major in whatever your heart desires- just be sure to pay attention to the courses you'll need to take in order to apply to higher education programs. The most common undergraduate majors in this field are psychology and sociology.
2) Take the GRE!
→ During your junior year of undergrad (if you plan to go straight into graduate school after completion of your Bachelor’s degree), you will want to take the Graduate Record Examination. This test is basically the college-version of the SAT and showcases many of the same strategies needed to be successful. The general test is composed of 3 sections: analytical writing assessment, a quantitative section, and a verbal section.
This test is something I am currently studying for, so here are some useful study tips to ensure a great score:
-Give yourself time! Make sure you have at least a month before the test to start preparing. Cramming does you no good.
-Identify and target your weaknesses. For example I focused a lot on the math section because it is my weakest section.
-Self Prep. Work hard on your own time to study for this test in whatever way makes sense to you.
-Online course prep. Utilize online tests and study groups to find new ways to prepare on top of your own methods. The more ways you are able to look at the information- the better chance you have of truly understanding the material.
→ IMPORTANT NOTE: Pay attention to the programs you wish to apply to. Some will not require the GRE general test, some will require only the GRE Psychology subject test, and some will require both so be on the lookout for the specific requirements of your desired program.
3) Obtain your doctoral degree!
→ Once you have completed your undergraduate, you will hopefully have been accepted into a graduate program of your choice. Your focus of study is dependent on your goals for the future. You could find a program that is specifically for clinical psychology. You could alternatively focus on a path that you intend to pursue as a clinical psychologist like social psychology. Here are some different programs and focuses:
-University of California, San Diego: Program in Social Psychology
-University of California, Irvine: Program in Social and Personality Psychology
-University of California, Los Angeles: Program in Clinical Psychology
4) Obtain supervised training hours!
→ In order to become licensed, one must obtain 3000 hours of supervised training. You may complete 1500 hours while you are still obtaining your PhD but 1500 minimum hours must be obtained post-degree. This gives you the opportunity to gain experience in the field of psychology and enables you to be on your way to becoming an expert.
5) Pass the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)!
→ In order to take this exam you must have received your doctoral degree and all of your supervised clinical experience. This test is intended to cover the most relevant analyses to the current practice of psychology. Questions span 8 topics of psychology:
-biological bases of behavior
-the cognitive-‐affective bases of behavior
-the social and cultural bases of behavior
-growth and lifespan development
-assessment and diagnosis of patients
-the treatment, intervention, prevention and supervision of patients
-research methods and statistics
-ethical, legal, and professional issues
6) Receive approval by a state licensing board!
→ This step comes once you have passed the EPPP and it is confirmed by a revisory board that all of your requirements have been met.
7) Celebrate!
→ Pop the champagne and celebrate your achievements! This was no easy feat, you should be proud of the work it took to get here.
8) What to expect after the champagne digests!
Thus far I have explained the path to become a clinical psychologist but you may be wondering what it’s like once you start working. First you must find a job! Here are a few current job listings:
Clinical Psychologist- Child Outpatient Services
Clinical Psychologist- ADHD and Behavioral Disorders Center
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Here is what you mostly have been looking forward to- a day in the life of a clinical psychologist and what job duties that entails:

How to Study for Standardized Exams
I am far from taking the GRE and the GMAT, but it would be foolish (not to mention out of character) for me not to at least think about the future. I didn’t do that for the SAT and the ACT. I simply went into the exams, winging it. Although I did okay, I know that if I had prepped for them early and properly, I would’ve done much better. Hindsight is 20/20. So I’ve researched effective ways to study for standardized exams:
Take practice exams
It’s the best way to establish a baseline and measure where you need to improve. Mimic exam day conditions as best as possible when taking the practice exam and just do the best you can. The test results will include not just your scores but also information about what types of questions you did well on and which ones gave you trouble. This information will help you design your study plan. Kaplan recommends that you schedule 4 hours to take the test if you write the essays and 3 hours if you choose to skip the essays. Also plan to invest at least 1.5 hours in reviewing the test later the same day or in the next day or two.
Set your study schedule
I’m personally beginning the process of GRE/GMAT prep next January after I have four semesters of accounting and calculus under my belt. Studying so far in advanced might sound unnecessary, and it probably is, but I feel like I would be more confident in my abilities to score higher on the standardized exams with the knowledge that I excessively prepped for it. Below is a suggested timeline:
Studying most days of the week will improve your score more than studying one or two days a week. Many students find that studying for 5 days a week in three 30-minute segments, for an hour and a half each day, helps them make significant progress. In addition, if the vocabulary is an area you have targeted for improvement, plan to carry flashcards (physical cards or a phone app) with you and work on GRE vocab throughout the day.
Develop your study plan
There’s no right way to do this. For me, I would probably spend a considerable amount of time reviewing and practicing the math section. It’s my weakest section, but I might section off an hour of each study session and a whole session reviewing my stronger subjects (vocabulary, reading comp, and writing). Kaplan suggests blocking out time to take practice tests to measure progress, become more familiar with the test’s timing and format, and build mental endurance. After each test, invest at least 1.5 hours in reviewing the answer explanations. I would most likely schedule a weekly or biweekly practice test on my calendar and keep those appointments with myself.
Other resources to consider:
Hiring a private tutor or take a prep class- Even though that is pricey, I believe it’s worth the investment. It would help me curate an individualized study plan, teach me how to take the exam, and provide me with a comprehensive study strategy of my weaker subjects. They’re usually over $1500 in my area, but I fully believe I’d personally be better for it and get a much better score than if I were relying on my own, inexperienced abilities. Kaplan Test Prep offers an eight-week GRE prep course for $1,099 in person or $799 online. With that, you receive free practice tests and questions and Princeton Review offers GRE prep courses for $799 online or $999 in person. The class sizes are typically small, and the online course includes some one-on-one tutoring sessions.
Test Prep Books- Test prep books cover the structure of the test, the types of questions asked, and tips for hacking your way to a great score. Most large bookstores have a test-taking book section where you can find great GRE prep books. You also can purchase them online at Amazon or any booksellers' website. GRE prep books are ideal for self-motivated learners willing to spend a few hours at a time absorbing the dense information offered. These books typically cost around $15-$30.
Study Apps- The growing pool of study apps offers new, interactive ways to prepare for the GRE, usually through quiz-based challenges, flashcards, or short videos. Typically, these apps are free. They're ideal for on-the-go studiers who prefers to learn by doing, rather than parsing through a 700-page test prep book.
