You could always check out Adventurer’s League! It’s campaign/story based so you can play with different people each time and online and some stores arrange gamenights with AL. There are rules though, like with char creation and you can’t play the same campaign/story more than once with a character. You level up based on XP and gain renown, gold and downtime. I’ve played it three times myself

I would really recommend Adventure League! They run D&D and pathfinder campaigns, and they always have really awesome set up! Alternatively you could start up an online campaign. Roll20 and discord really make online campaigns as enjoyable as in personal sessions. If you’re ever in need of a DM hit me up!

Huh.  Well I wasn’t aware that was a thing, and it looks like yes there are games at some local stores.  My main problem though is I could only really make it games on Sundays.  I have a friend who plays and isn’t happy with his current group but we really don’t have the time in common to do anything about it.  Online play...I don’t know.  It’s a little appealing but what I really need is IRL social interaction in my life, which would be part of the point of doing it.  

Anyway, thanks to both of y’all for pointing that out, and if my transportation situation ever improves I might look into getting involved in AL.

Are you named after someone?:

Alas not really, unless you count the fact that the first time my parents heard my name was in relation to Australian singer Kylie Minogue.

When was the last time you cried?:

A little over a week ago because my dad said he was excited to have me home for the holidays and I suddenly got extremely overwhelmed by how much I miss Idaho and my family

Do you have kids?:

Nope, thank goodness!

Do you use sarcasm a lot?:

No, of course not, whatever gave you that idea? (Yes I am terrible about it)

What’s the first thing you notice about people?:

Is it weird to say how they carry themselves and how close they unconsciously stand to people? Maybe it’s because I am a tiny person, but people who aren’t conscious of personal space make me nervous.

What’s your eye color?:

Blue!

Scary movies or happy endings?:

Both? I love happy endings in my everything, but I am extremely fascinated by horror as a genre.

Any special talents?:

I like to think I’m a decent enough writer. I’ve got almost four years of Latin dancing classes under my belt. I’m also pretty good at making themed playlists with a narrative in mind, and I’m pretty good at improv knitting!

Where were you born?:

I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California.

What are your hobbies?:

Trying to write, reading, dancing in the kitchen while I cook, actually cooking too, making playlists, and live theater! Cosplay is a pretty new hobby, and I’ve recently become the kind of person who goes to concerts??

Do you have any pets?:

Not one’s of my own unfortunately :( We have a family dog though! His name is Scooby and he’s a black pug, and I love him so much. <3

How tall are you?:

The extremely tall height of barely scraping 5 feet.

What sports do you play/have played?:

I played t-ball when I was five, but tbh I stopped taking P.E. as soon as I could, much less kept up with sports. I was more of a marching band kid!

Favorite subject at school?:

Either English or history, because I was pretty comfortable with them, and also because my school didn’t have any actual theater classes.

Dream job?:

Museum Registrar or working in some kind of archive <3

Jester takes over an inn (inheritance from her mysterious father whom she never met?), and begins to renovate it with the help of Fjord, who’s got experience with carpeting from ships and boats

It used to belong to a wealthy local family, and all but two of the members died under "mysterious circumstance" and then the son went off to war while the daughter remained behind. Before he left, he was bethroed to a local woman, and her father disapproved of him but they were in love and went against his wishes that they'd meet

The letters are between the couple, sent while he was away during the war, until one day, close to the end of The Great War, the letters stopped coming. There are piles left inside the wall, but no answer as to what happened to them

The letters are only addressed to “My light” and “My darling”, so there’s no way of telling who they are - all they really have to go by is the dates and mentions of battles to track where Darling was fighting. But Jester’s desperate to try and find out what happened and Fjord just can’t say no when she looks at him like that so before he knows what’s happening he’s being dragged into a century-old mystery . . . but maybe kind of having fun?
