"I really want to kiss you." His voice was just as low as mine, and a little chuckle rumbled down his lips as he finished the sentence. The butterflies woke up in my tummy to celebrate it, and almost adore him, and I wasn't even sure if I had nodded. But he was so soft and sweet, and he smelled so good,
Catch up here!
Why did I stay? In hindsight, it hadn't been my best idea.
There was a thought: I wasn't going to drink ever again. Not one drink. Not even one sip. I didn't even actually like it when I was in the process of getting drunk.
I rolled to my side, which was painful, and opened my eyes to the morning light, which was even more painful. The room was bright, and the sheer curtains allowed the sun to get in in full force. Stupid, useless curtains.
I patted my hand on the mattress and under my pillow, where I usually left my phone before going to sleep. Finding nothing, I cursed under my breath, as I slowly rose up with a grunt to start looking for it in the mess of the covers. But it was nowhere to be found, and wherever I was, it was not my home.
I looked around, as the sleepiness faded away, and a light panic started to take over me. Where was I? The room was mostly white with moody grey and blue accents, and the light was actually coming from a glass door that led to an outside pool. Right next to the door, there was a gray armchair and a white stool, where you could put your feet up for when you were reading, or watching tv, or just chilling.
Where was I, really? I pushed the covers and sheets to the side and stood up to further inspect the room. But panic grew as I realized that I was wearing a white t-shirt, that was definitely not mine. It was too short, and it had holes on the sleeves, and I wondered how and who had put it on me. My head spun, and I pulled on my hair lightly, as if to wake myself up from the strange dream I was on.
The more I searched the more I realized there was nothing in the room that would tell me where I was, not a single photo, or personal item that would give me a clue, so I walked out of it and found myself in a dim hallway that directed to some kind of open room. Even half-naked, I needed to find out where the fuck I was before I got a heart attack.
The house was mostly white and grey, and I walked through the hallways without finding any more information than I already had: That I had no idea where I was, and whoever owned the place had probably seen me in my underwear.
I sighed in relief when I got to the living room, which was a lot brighter then the rest of the house, as there was a huge window right in the middle of it. The whole city of L.A. could be seen from it, and I stared at it dumbfounded, recognizing that we probably were on one of the hills.
I needed Diana to get me something like this.
There was a dark wood coffee table in the middle of the room and between two dark gray couches. Over the table, there was one of those large art books and some other decorations, but most importantly, there was a picture frame, which I quickly picked up in my hands to see if I could find out where the fuck I was.
It was gray and velvety and it looked like it had fallen, as it had a chipped corner. In the middle of it, there was a picture of Harry and two women that looked exactly like him. One of them, the older one, had jet black hair and was holding a glass of white wine. The other one, blonde and young, was holding Harry by his shoulders, as they both made a silly face to the camera. I sighed in relief and carefully put it back down on the table.
So I was at Harry's house.
I had slept there.
In my underwear.
The wide window was actually a glass door that led to the same pool I had seen back in the room, or at least I hoped it was the same one. Besides that, the house was rather simple. There was a colorful painting of a woman hanging on a wall, some pillows on the couch, and a couple of things over the coffee table, but not much else.
I walked to the open space of the kitchen and bit my bottom lip as I glanced over it. There was a marble island and a couple of stools to sit and eat. He had some apples and oranges over a large plate, but nothing else even indicated that it was actively used. I opened the fridge and was pleasantly surprised when I found actual food in it.
"Jesus..."
I wondered if he was anything like Sam, who could eat a whole cow and add bacon on top it when he was hungover, or if he was like me, who could barely stand coffee in my tummy most mornings. Just in case, I pulled out a couple of eggs and started to look for bread and a pan. When I finally got it, I checked the freezer and smiled when I found a sealed bag with pieces of bacon. Humming to myself, I heated the pan and started to cook breakfast, just as I would have if I was in my own home. I was only missing Cat, who usually sat in front of me without uttering a word as she played with her phone, and probably Sam, who always seemed to end up at my house when it was time to eat.
I had no idea if Harry was even home.
I had no idea if he even ate breakfast.
The bacon was sizzling on its pan, and the aroma of fresh coffee was filling the kitchen, so, when he finally appeared, sleepy and soft as if he had just woken up, I was almost ready with breakfast.
I shifted on my feet, looking at him as he walked towards me. He wasn't wearing a shirt, only a pair of sweatpants that had seen better days, and I peered down at him when he stood behind the counter, leaning on it while a smile grew on his lips.
"Hi." Harry's voice was hoarse, probably from sleep, and I felt my knees get weak at the sight. His hair was disheveled, and his eyes were puffy, but his lips were pink and swollen, and he bit into them, with a devilish, almost mocking smirk when he noticed I was staring.
"I hope you like breakfast," I hurriedly said.
"I do," He replied. My heart raced when he pushed himself up from the table and walked behind the counter, only mere steps away from me. "Who doesn't?"
"Some people." "Thank you for letting me sleep here," I whispered to him, as talking out loud suddenly seemed unnecessary. He was right behind me, standing so close to me that I could feel the warmth of his skin even without touching him, and the little hairs on the nape of my neck rose up with a shudder, making me lose my train of thoughts.
"You were drunk. I wasn't going to let you out of my sight."
"So, did you, uh..." The words kept getting twisted in my tongue, perhaps 'cause I didn't want to ask him if he had seen me naked, or probably because his hand was now on my hips, pressing to them as he got even closer to me. Before he could do anything, or I could regret what I was about to do, I leaned back and pressed a soft kiss to the corner of his lips, and quickly pulled away to his dismay.
"That's not nice," He protested, but the smile on his face gave him away.
"I'm making you breakfast. You can't have it all."
"I guess I can't," He said. He pulled his hand away, and slowly walked to the chairs and sat down, as I served him breakfast. "You didn't have to do this."
"I know. I just wanted to say thank you. So...Did you..."
"Get you in bed? Yes."
"Oh, so did you...put, uhm...this shirt on me?"
"Yes..." He shifted on his seat. "But I didn't, uh, I mean, you had your underwear on, so..."
"Thank you," I said. He was so uncomfortable, his cheeks had tinted a deep pink, and he looked at me almost grateful when I decided to put him out of his misery.
"Just, uh, so you know, you almost bit me when I tried to take your shirt off. And you weren't pleased about the jeans either."
"I'm sorry," I apologized, tucking a strand of loose hair behind my ear. "I just...I don't really like being told what to do."
"I got that. Are you not  gonna eat?" He asked, noticing I had stopped serving food after his plate. I shook my head and pointed at the steaming cup of coffee I had set on the counter.
"Just coffee for me," I told him.
It felt weird, almost too intimate of a moment, the fact that we were sharing so early in the morning, all alone in that huge house, while both of us were technically in our underwear. I looked at him, as he started to eat, and allowed myself to really take him in, from the light swirl on his messy hair to the tattoos that covered his left arm. In the bright light of the morning, his eyes were a light green, with a dark ring around them that made them even more striking, and I felt warm at the realization that he poked his tongue out a bit every time he took a bite of food. A faint smile curled up on my lips as I noticed the tattoo with the fancy skeleton and its top hat, and I ached to touch the two swallows that adorned his chest.
"What?" He asked, and it was only then that I realized that I was actually, fully, staring at him. I blushed, and let my gaze drop to the counter and brought the huge mug to my face to hide my embarrassment. It wasn't an annoyed question, oh, no. He was looking at me with an amused glint in his eyes and his mouth twitched into a smirk.
"Sorry. It's just, how many tattoos do you have?"
"I lost count," He shrugged. "Wanna see them? C'me here. There's one I can't show you, though."
"Why not?" I was already walking to him, pulled by my curiosity, and maybe a primal need to get close to him. I stood in front of him, as he made his chair swirl so he could look at me. I was suddenly standing between his legs, and close to his naked chest, a lot closer than I had expected to be. I almost took a step back, but he took my hand in his, keeping me in place before I could run away.
"It's on my thigh," he replied without letting me go.
"Yeah, that would be weird." I wasn't even thinking, just letting myself act. I pulled my hand away from him, and let my fingers run through the dark ink of the eagle on his right arm. Harry's skin was soft, and a little bit tanned, and I couldn't help but touch him, grazing the tip of my fingers over the faded ink of his body.
I smiled when I reached the skeleton, leaning over him to look at it closely. His breath faltered a bit, and I stood upright to look at him, suddenly remembering how close we actually were. I was just inches apart from him, and my right hand was resting on his chest, while both of his curled over the flimsy fabric of the old shirt. I could smell his clean, fresh skin, and the fake sweetness of his shampoo, could see him gulp down hard as he watched me. I could feel my heart beating faster and I wondered if he could too.
"Sorry..." I breathed, but he chuckled, shaking his head to me.
"You need to stop saying that. It's ok, I like it." His gaze fell on my lips for a second, before he looked into my eyes again, and I felt my knees get weaker at the gesture, a soft feeling taking over my chest and contrasting with the electricity that was slowly taking over the air.
He was so beautiful. God, so, so pretty.
"Tell me something about you," He asked, breaking the nice little silence we had settled in. But he was still soft and close, looking up at me from his seat while my other hand slid to his other shoulder, his words barely a whisper as if to not chase away the magic that surrounded us.
"What do you wanna know?"
"I don't know. Anything, really."
I sighed and begrudgingly took a step away from him, only to sit on the stool right next to him. He looked almost upset, but only for a second, cause he leaned back on his chair and spread a little further his legs.
"Did you always want to be an actress?" He asked, a question I didn't know how to answer without having to explain myself. I sighed once again and sat straight as I looked around him to find something to distract me from the strange feeling at the pit of my stomach.
"No, no. I wanted to be a lawyer." I finally started. "I, I got into a really good college, and I was gonna go there and get my bachelor, and then go to law school, but uh, we couldn't afford it anymore. Uhm...We moved here, my mom, my little sister and I, and we living on a friend's couch, and I was working two jobs, one at a diner and the other one at a pet store, and the diner was always packed with aspiring actors. So, one day, I heard how much they made on a day, and I was 'oh, ok, I can do that, I can keep working my two jobs, and we'll probably get by', so I started going to auditions, and then I got lucky, I guess."
"So you worked at a pet store?" Harry seemed fascinated by that part, looking at me with a marveled glint in his eye. I nodded, smiling at the next bit of information I was about to give him. Apparently, it was going to blow his mind.
"I did. I got bitten by a turtle. Wanna see?"
"YES!"
I stood up, right on the same spot I was just seconds before, and Harry leaned over, to get closer to me as I showed him the half-moon scar I had on my ring finger. I looked down at him, at his childish smile and his dimpled face, and let myself lean over him, and allowed his hand to hug me to his body.
"This one," I said slowly. "And, I have another one that I can't show you."
"From the turtle?" He looked up, smiling widely at me as nodded. "Fuck, I wanna see it."
"It's on my tummy."
"How the fuck did a turtle bite you on your tummy?"
"Well, I had just put her down on the table and reached over her to get a pair of clippers, and she did not like it."
"That's fucking insane!" His British accent got thicker when he was surprised, and his eyes opened wide as he looked at me. "Oh, c'mon, let me see it!"
"I have no pants on, Harry!" I protested in laughter. He pouted but didn't insist anymore. He slowly got up instead, until he was standing in front of me and making my breathing falter as a result of it.
"What?" I asked him, in a voice so low, I could barely hear myself.
"I really want to kiss you." His voice was just as low as mine, and a little chuckle rumbled down his lips as he finished the sentence. The butterflies woke up in my tummy to celebrate it, and almost adore him, and I wasn't even sure if I had nodded. But he was so soft and sweet, and he smelled so good, and I smiled when he finally pressed his lips to mine.
Once again, I found myself struggling to describe his kiss and the way it made me feel. He squeezed my waist and brought me to his chest, fully wrapping his arm around me. With a delighted sigh that died on his lips, I put my hand over his shoulder, giving myself something to hold on to as I tilted my head for him. The world had started to spin faster, he kissed me eagerly, soft and demanding, molding his lips to mine as if it was the most natural thing in the world. To kiss me, to hold me close to him.
I hadn't kissed many boys before. I kissed Sam, once when we were both 15 and I just had had my very first drink; I kissed Peter, my boyfriend back home. I even kissed a couple of actors, and now an actress, when the roles demanded so. But nothing was quite like this. Nothing could even compare.
My fingers curled around the waist of his joggers, not finding anything else to hold on to, and I managed to get him closer to me, making him grunt at the sudden movement and at the feeling of my hands sliding up his back.
So when it was finally over, and he broke the kiss apart, I was all ready to do it again. Somehow, I had ended up against the counter and was trapped between it and Harry's chest, which gave me a nice little opportunity to not move, not one inch.
"Have you done this before?" I asked him, busy trailing my fingers over the soft skin of his arms.
"What?"
"The PR thing."
"I have..." He nodded, and I looked at him when he trailed off, waiting to see if he was going to say anything else. But he didn't.
"So, did you two kiss? I mean, are we...are we supposed to kiss?"
"Who's gonna stop us?" Amused, he made me look at him. He was smiling, and his swollen lips were begging me to kiss them again.
"I just want to be sure that this is a good idea."
"That might be a problem."
"Why?"
"Cause you're soon gonna find out it's not. And I really like kissing you."
His words somehow made me feel warm and giddy inside, and I smiled when he pressed a tiny kiss on the corner of my lips before walking away.
I wasn't sure I wanted to find out. Not if it meant not getting any more of his kisses.

The Nanny
Harry is sick, and forgets to tell Y/N, his daughter’s nanny, not to come in.  This fic was requested by the lovely @titanicbuff1912  I hope you like it.  Feedback is welcome.  Enjoy!  Lots of Love
Harry swore if that red puppet sang about his world one more time, he would lose it.  The tiny toddler sucked down the orange liquid, green eyes trained on Elmo’s lessons. Harry sniffled, dragging a crumbled napkin across his swollen, red nose.  A cough rattled his throbbing lungs.  Why did he garden last weekend?  The weeds infected his poor immune system.  Luckily, his daughter did not catch his cold.  To think about caring for a poorly four-year-old and his illness haunted Harry’s mind.  He glanced at the curly-haired demon, lulling herself to sleep while Count von Count counted five bats.  Her curly tendrils slipped from the makeshift bun he tied this morning.  He gripped the remote, switching channels. His heavy lids begged his mind to drift into a sea of dreams.  He sighed, cuddling further into the leather couch.  For once, his mind did not settle on his album. Instead, thoughts of warm blankets and homemade soup entered his dreams.   *  *  *  *
A doorbell and a small, chubby hand slapping his pale cheeks startled Harry awake.  His giggling daughter exposed her tiny, crooked teeth. “Daddy, I scared you,” She squealed. He smiled, “You did scare me, Selene.” He pressed a kiss to her warm forehead. His heart sank, hoping his daughter did not catch his cold.  The doorbell rang again, distracting his hazy mind.   “Someone is here,” Selene cheered, jumping up and down on the cushions. He stood up, tossing the blanket down. He opened his arms, catching a leaping Selene in his weak arms.  She clung to his neck, gabbing about Elmo’s stories.  He padded down the hallway, opening the front door.  He gasped, finding his daughter’s nanny on his doorstep.  He palmed his face, recalling he forgot to message Y/N.  Y/N took care of Selene while Harry recorded new songs at the studio. “Harry, I’m sorry.  I forgot the house key, and my friend wasted the gas in my car. How are you, angel?” She asked, cupping the little girl’s red cheeks. Selene giggled, leaning into her touch, “Good.  We are watching Elmo.” “Yeah, we are watching Elmo.  I forgot to message you.  I felt ill and decided to stay home today.  You are free from this toddler’s wrath today,” He cooed, tickling his daughter’s chubby tummy. Selene squealed, reaching for her.  She chuckled, grabbing the toddler from his noodle-like arms.   She bounced Selene on her hip, shrugging her shoulders, “I can stay.  You aren’t in the right place to take care of a toddler.  We planned a tea party for today, and we cannot push it back. We finally had Mr. Bear accept the invitation.” Selene nodded feverishly, “Mr. Bear returned from New York.” He chuckled, enjoying how comfortable Selene felt with her nanny. “Well, I cannot get in the way of your plans. Thank you,” He blushed. She stepped inside, dropping her purse near the front door.  She toed off her ratty sneakers, remembering his no shoe policy.  “You need a nap.  I can watch Selene while you sleep,” She ordered, unbundling the gray scarf from her neck. He grinned, “Thank you.” She nodded, watching him slink upstairs toward his bedroom.  The cool sheets sizzled against his heated skin.  Harry hoped his illness would wear off soon. *  *  *  *
Y/N noticed Selene’s messy bun.  She smiled, imagining a poorly Harry fixing his daughter’s curly hair while hiding his illness from the eager girl.   “Selene, would you like me to braid your hair?” She wondered, plopping down beside the toddler. She nodded, “Can I look like Tangled?” She chuckled, nodding while she released Selene’s curls.  The curls fell in messy tendrils.  She combed through the hair, pressing kisses where Selene complained about painful tangles.  She braided the little girl’s beautiful hair, slipping in fake flowers that she surprised Selene with last year for her birthday.   “I look like a princess,” Selene squealed, eyeing the floral braid. She smiled at Selene’s reflection, “You always look like a princess.  Should I grab your crown?” “Yes.  I want the gold crown today.  You can have the pink one,” Selene mumbled. She nodded, helping the little girl slide off the bathroom counter.  Selene padded down the hall to her large bedroom.  Harry adored his daughter with his entire being, and everyone knew it once they stepped inside her bedroom.  Princess posters covered the pastel pink walls.   He even purchased a wardrobe filled with the best costumes a child could want.  He spoiled his princess.  Selene wrapped a feathery, pink boa around Y/N’s shoulders and placed a crown on the nanny’s head. “Do I look like a princess?” She wondered, posing with her hands on her hips. Selene giggled, shaking her head, “You are a queen.  Daddy can be the king.” Her smile faltered, “No, daddy is sick. He can play with us later.  Shall we sit everyone done?” Selene frowned but followed her instructions.  The toddler placed each stuffed animal in the correct chair while Y/N poured tea into the porcelain cups.  She left the room, grabbing the plate of brownies that she helped Selene bake yesterday.  She set the plate down, watching Selene’s eyes light up. “You can have a few brownies, but we will not spoil lunch,” She warned. Selene nodded, stealing a brownie from the plate.  The tea party began once Mr. Bear found his spot. *  *  *  *
Harry’s aching throat woke him up after coughing for the fifth time. His red eyes peeled open, begging for eyedrops.  His weak arms propped his shivering body up.  He glanced around the dark room.  His eyes landed on a portrait of his wife and himself on their wedding day. His heart drummed a lonely beat the day she abandoned their life.  Y/N’s soft melodic voice drifted under his door and into his cold room. He smiled, slipping from the sheets. He shuffled downstairs, entering the bright kitchen.  His head throbbed from the sudden increase of light.  “Daddy, you are awake.  Y/N said I should draw you some get well cards,” Selene rambled on, jumping from the kitchen counters. The nanny spun around, “Selene, we do not jump from counters.  You could’ve hurt yourself.” The toddler pouted, “I’m sorry.” “It’s okay.  We do not want to see you get hurt.  We still love you,” She promised. “Y/N is right,” He croaked out. “You sound worse.  How about you show your daddy the cards while I pour him medicine,” She offered Selene. Selene’s nose crinkled with disgust, “I hate medicine.” He chuckled, grabbing the paper from Selene’s hands, “Wow, I love these cards.  I’ll hang them on the fridge.” “Here is the medicine.  I’m making a homemade chicken noodle soup.  My grandma always cooked this for me when I was sick,” She mumbled. He grinned, “Thank you.  You are a lifesaver.  I can watch Selene while you cook.” She shook her head, “You need rest.  Selene promised to help me with the soup.” Selene nodded proudly, “I am a chef.” He laughed, pinching his daughter’s dimples, “You are sweet.  I’m going to sleep.  Will you behave for Y/N?” Selene nodded, placing a tiny hand on her hip, “Daddy, I always behave.” He chuckled, leaving the kitchen.  Y/N lifted Selene back onto the cool counter. Selene wondered why her daddy had not married Y/N.   *  *  *  *
A freezing hand brushed against Harry’s heated skin.  He tossed and turned, resisting the idea of waking up. “Harry, you need to wake up.  I finished the soup,” Y/N softly whispered. He groaned, “I don’t want to.” She chuckled, “I’ll bring Selene in here to wake you up.” His eyes opened, “I’m awake.  We do not need to bring in Selene.  She enjoys waking me up with a foot to my gut.” She giggled, helping him out of his bed, “I doubt that such a sweet angel would hurt her father.” He snorted, “Yeah, she’s nice to you.” They walked into the dining room. Selene grinned widely at her father, waiting patiently for soup.   “I’ll go get the soup,” Y/N mumbled. He chose to sit in the middle of Selene and Y/N.  She popped in with three bowls of soup balancing on her arms. “Let me help you,” He mumbled, standing abruptly to grab a bowl. “Thank you,” She blushed, feeling his warm skin brush against her skin. “Selene, I made your soup without chicken because I remembered that you do not like eating chickens,” She stated. Selene nodded, “Thank you.  Nana Anne has three chickens at her house.” He smirked, “Nana Anne also has cows, but you still eat burgers.” Y/N chuckled, “Well, who could deny a burger.” He rolled his eyes playfully at her. Selene sipped her soup, spitting the liquid out due to the heat radiating from the spoon. “It’s warm,” Y/N mumbled, forgetting she needed to remind the toddler. “Let me blow on it,” He stated, blowing on the little girl’s spoon. She tutted, “She’ll catch your illness. Let me blow on it.” He watched her move closer to Selene so she could blow on the child’s soup.  His heart fluttered at the image.  She acted as if Selene were her child.  He worried about finding a woman that loved Selene the same way he did, but maybe he was searching in the wrong places. *  *  *  *
After lunch, Harry read a princess storybook until Selene fell asleep in her pink bed.  Y/N washed the dishes, humming softly to herself.  He rounded the corner, admiring the beautiful woman. “She fell asleep.  She loved the soup.  I haven’t seen her eat like that in a while,” He mumbled, plopping down on a nearby stool. She spun around, grinning widely, “She eats with me.  I remind her that a princess must always eat their food.  I also snuck chicken into her soup, and she loved it.” He smirked, “You are amazing.  How did you get so good at this?” She shrugged, “It’s easy when you raised such an amazing daughter.  I have never met a toddler with manners like Selene’s.” He blushed, “Well, I try to be a good parent.” She shook her head, stepping in between his legs, “Harry, you are an amazing parent.  You should never doubt that.  Selene loves you.” He smiled, cupping her cheeks, “I wouldn’t be able to do it without you.” She smiled, relaxing into his touch, “I think we should watch a movie.” He dropped his hand, watching her walk toward the living room.  He sat beside her, tugging her body into his arms.  She cuddled into his embrace, enjoying the warmth radiating off of him.   “I’m sorry, I love to cuddle,” He stated. She giggled, “It’s okay.  I heard that cuddling makes the sick feel better.” He nodded, watching the introduction scene to his favorite movie.  He sat up straighter, glancing down at Y/N. “This is my favorite movie.  How did you know?” She shrugged, smirking to herself, “Selene might have told me.” He smirked, “Well, let’s watch my favorite movie.” His heart raced each time she scooted closer to his body.  He hadn’t felt this complete since his wife. *  *  *  *
Y/N stretched her aching limbs, opening her rested eyes.  Harry slept beside her, his eyelashes fluttered against his warm cheeks.  The movie credits rolled on the television screen.  She couldn’t believe she fell asleep in his arms.  She stood up, deciding she needed to check on the sleeping toddler.  Once she returned, she found the curly-haired man pouting and searching for her. “Where did you go?” He whined, throwing his head against the back of the couch. She giggled, plopping down beside him, “I needed to check on Selene.  I can’t sleep on the job.” He shrugged, “I heard that your boss is lenient.” She snorted, elbowing his arm, “You are a dork.” A shrill cry stopped him from making his next comeback.  Instead, the couple hurried toward Selene’s room.  Her eyes were screwed shut, and with every cry her face turned a darker shade of red.  He wrapped his arms around his daughter, rocking her back and forth while Y/N stood and watched. “You are okay.  It was a nightmare.  Daddy won’t let anything happen to you,” He promised. “I had a nightmare that you left me.  You left like mommy left us,” Selene cried out. He shook his head, cupping her cheeks, “I would never leave you.  I love you too much.” Y/N stood in shock.  Harry never mentioned his ex-wife, so she never asked about the absent woman.  She recalled her only memory about the woman was when Selene mentioned her mother named her after a Greek goddess.  Now, she understood why Selene and Harry guarded their broken hearts.  She could hear the toddler’s sobs quiet down into sniffles as she calmed down in her father’s arms. “Would you like me to grab Steph?” Y/N asked, searching for Selene’s favorite stuffed dragon. Selene nodded, waiting for her to place the purple dragon in her hands.   “Are you okay?” He asked, checking his daughter’s expression. Selene nodded, “Can I watch a movie with you?” He nodded, “Yeah, we can watch Tangled.” Selene wrapped her tiny arms around his neck, allowing him to carry her into the living room.  Y/N followed, gathering Selene’s favorite toy and blanket. “I love this movie,” He gushed, bringing a smile to his daughter’s face. Selene giggled, “Daddy, you don’t love this movie, this is my favorite movie.” He gasped, gripping his chest, “Why can’t we both love it?” Selene shook her head, doubling over with laughter.  Y/N giggled, watching him pout until Selene declared that he could love this movie too. During the movie, he sang every song out of key until the toddler begged her father to stop.  Once Rapunzel and Flynn Rider finished their duet, the little girl climbed onto Y/N’s lap and drifted off into a deep sleep.  Y/N couldn’t ignore the flutter in her heart, so she pulled Selene closer to her body.   *  *  *  *
After dinner, Harry bathed Selene while Y/N tidied around the house.  Selene darted into the room in her Tangled pajamas.  She squealed, glancing back at Harry chasing her with the comb. “You need to comb your hair,” He choked out in between his heavy breathing. Y/N giggled, stopping him from his exasperated running, “I got this.” “Selene, would you like me to braid your hair like Rapunzel again?” She asked. Selene halted, nodding her head fervently.  After she fixed Selene’s hair, she handed the toddler to her father so he could sing her to sleep.  She listened to his soothing voice sing Selene’s favorite song.  The couple left the room once the little girl dozed off. “Thank you, I wouldn’t have been able to handle it all without you,” He whispered. Y/N waved him off, “I adore Selene.  It was no problem.” He nodded, stuffing his hands into his pockets, “Can I ask you a question?” She nodded, watching his eyes glance nervously into her own.  Her stomach churned with anxiety.  “Will you go on a date with me?  For the longest time, I searched for a woman like you.  I looked for someone who loved Selene and who Selene loved, and I found that woman in you,” He stuttered out. She smirked, cupping his blushing cheeks, “Id love to go out with you.” He grinned, relaxing in her touch, “I’m glad.  Can I kiss you?” “How could it be happily ever after if we didn’t kiss?” She joked. He rolled his eyes playfully.  He leaned down, wrapping his arms around her waist.  She rocked onto the tips of her toes, draping her arms across his shoulders. Silence surrounded the happy couple. Harry’s lips brushed against her plump lips.  She deepened the kiss, tasting his pizza-flavored mouth.  She couldn’t imagine kissing anyone but him for the rest of her life.  He reluctantly pulled away from her luscious lips.  His forehead still pressed against hers.  The couple smiled at each other in complete bliss.  Harry finally found his queen.

Mr.coyote             #1
Jesse sat on his cot in his room. It has been about 1 month since Overwatch recalled and they finally have a lead on nearby Talon activity that might be worthy of looking into. Winston is busy setting up his equipment and getting reacquainted with tracer. Lucio is being briefed as a new recruit and is not combat ready yet. DVA is doing repairs on her mec after an accident involving a boddle of mountain dew and a feral cat. Ana and Reinhardt are both strung up with getting ATHENA up to date and Genji and Hanzo are in Japan and will be coming home in a week or so. And Angela was off helping out at an outbreak of E-coli in Africa. Therefore Jesse is the only person who is free to take up the mission.  Buckling the last strap on his prosthetic arm he sat up and got dressed into his outdated cowboy getup. before he stepped out the door he put on his trusty BAMF belt buckle and placed his Stetson on his head. walking out he walked down the hall toward the garage the only sound being the jingling of his spurs and the rustle of his seraph. Taking off his stetson and running a hand through his hair he walked into the hanger, the smell of oil and fuel making him scrunch up his nose. An old jeep cacked in dry mud stood in the middle of the garage. Looking around showed that this was the only car he would be able to use. The only other operable machine in the hanger was an old ham radio that Jesse is sure is now a priceless antique. Grunting he walked over to the dirty beat up jeep and jumped into the driver's seat. The seat was springy and creaked when he jumped in the leather dashboard was scratched and had Greece stains on it. The wheel had fallen out a long time ago and so Winston had created a makeshift plastic one that looks about ready to fall apart. The back seats didn't fare any better. mainly because there were none. The back had no seats and in their place were plastic crates broken up to resemble a chair and drilled to the floor of the jeep. Sighing he took the jeeps key out of his pant pocket and inserted it turning on the jeep. pressing a wireless remote taped to the roof of the car the hanger door opened showing a dirt road leading to the outside town near the base. Turning the car he started down the road and brought up navigation on his phone, Typing in the coordinates he was given. letting the auto-generated women's voice direct him where to go he recalled the debriefing he was given before setting out. When he got there he was supposed to kill any hostiles download any information that might be useful and neutralize and experiments that were going on. He will be given 3 days to complete his mission and if he doesn't return in that allotted time he will be written down as MIA. After a few minutes of driving on dirt roads and having trees pass him on either side, he hit the road and turned onto a back road with two lanes and the trees thinned out to farmland with cows grazing on one side and corn stalks ready to be harvested on the other.  Soon enough a small town showed up in front of him with a few people milling about. Lookin down at the dash the gas meter showed 4 gallons left. Cursing under his breathe he shot profanity-filled sentences at the car he was only another hour or so drive away from his missions location and the jeep just had to be refiled now that he was so close. he turned off the road and into the town slowing down and turning into a gas station. Turning the key to the engine he turned off the car and got out hearing the crunch of gravel as his boots hit the ground. The AC in the car had broken down 30 minutes into the drive and had started only sputtering out cold air. The air around his nipped at his face and hands promising a cold night and a miserable drive with no warm air. Sighing He walked around the car and to the gas pump. opening a plate in his arm he pulled out his Watch issued credit card but stopped when he noticed a white sign hanging off the pump that says. *Please go inside and buy gas before pumping gas*. Furrowing his brow in puzzlement he put his card back into his arm closing the hatch hiding his card and walked back around his car and to the gas station's door. The whole way pleading with every deity out there that no one would recognize him from his wanted posters and call him out; thinking to himself that wearing his getup was not a good idea. Opening the door the jingle of the doors bell and the smell of greased up hotdogs and stale chips greeted him. standing in the doorway his gaze flitted around showing that he was the only patron in the store and the only other person here was the cashier a pudgy middle-aged man in overalls and gardening gloves sitting on a stool. Letting out a breathe Jesse didn't know he was holding he let his shoulders relax and walked over to the counter.
“Hey there Sir. I’m gonna need to gas up and that sign out there say ta pay first, and I take it this is where I pay?”
With a scowl and patronizing voice, the cashier retorted “ Yea cowboy you pay here. It's 3.50 a gallon, cash no card.”
Meccre’s face fell he hadn’t thought about bringing cash he had only brought a credit card.
The Cashier lowered his brow and slowly let a grim smile slip onto his face. The cashier opened his mouth about to say something but before he could speak, someone behind Jesse spoke.
“Oh come on now Sam don’t be like that you know darn well we have a chip reader in the back.”
Whirling around Jesse looked at who had talked. Infront of him stood a stout middle ages women with graying hair, and in her hands was an old chip reader that had a sticky note taped to it saying credit card only”
Smiling Jesse said, “Why thak’ya miss I’m mighty obliged”.
With a kind smile, the Miss started forward and said: “Of course son I wouldn't want to turn down a promising customer.”
She got next to Jesse in front of the counter and plugged the chip reader into an electric socket below the counter.
Sam Scowled and glared at Jesse. Throwing out his hand he declared “Card!”
Jesse rolled back the plate on his arm again and pulled out his card. He put it into the chip reader and paid for the gas. Smiling at the kind women he pulled the card back out once the chip reader beeped and placed it back in his arm. The women gave him a smile back but...for some reason this time the smile looked a menacing and sly sending a shiver down Jesse’s spine. brushing off the women's look as just an overreaction from a brain that's been driving on a lonely road for the past 9 hours he walked back outside with the jingle of the doorbells signaling he left behind him. Quickly pumping the gas he hopped back into the jeep and was surprised to find the AC turned on and pumping in the hot air he had desperately hoped for a few miles back. He was perplexed as to how the AC magically got fixed in the short time he had been in the store and out pumping gas but hey he wasn’t one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Turning out the of the gas station parking lot he went back onto the road but soon the air in the car started to get stale and thick and the temperature stifling hot. leaning over he turned down the air to 70 trying to bring the temp down to a normal range again. The AC switched and started bringing in cold air but the air just kept on getting thicker and the sounds of the engine were getting muffled as if cotton was in his ears. His vision was starting to blur and his head bobbed. His thoughts kept drifting and for a second he had the notion to slow down and get out and breath in the fresh air outside the thought was swept aside with a new wave of exhaustion overtook him. his feet felt like lead and his foot went lax against his will making the gas petal floor. He was speeding down the two-lane road eyesight blurry sounds muffled and unable to move. Soon enough his head hit the makeshift steering wheel because he doesn't have enough energy to keep it straight. His conscious started to drift in and out in and out in and out. He slowly spiraled down the blackness at the corners of his vision started to move and creep closer a choked sob left Jesse's mouth fear spiked through his veins but the darkness soon overtook him and he drifted off into unconsciousness but before delving completely into unconsciousness he felt and barely heard the screeching of tiers and the jeep impact with something on the road. and then b l a c k n e s s
