I follow a lot of gothic art and aesthetic blogs (and have for awhile) and it's at the point where I'll have a sentimental association with like. Oh there's that gif of a dark ornate chandelier I've been seeing cross my dash since I was a teenager. Sure she can go in the queue again for old times sake

"Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue."

I never saw the show at Universal Studios Resort, but I knew some of the 2010 - 2016 Orlando cast.

Originally Beetlejuice had the movie's white shirt.

The show was based on Movie Beetlejuice, but later his costume and the merch were designed in the cartoon's style. I think they wanted to make it more "kid friendly."

Universal Studios Resort had BGR merch for only a couple years (the rights were terminated or something like that). One of the cast members gave me these.

Sorry, your boyfriend got hit by a car. He's alright, but he got isekai'd into another dimension and now he's being forced to work as a gravedigger. I think he's also dabbling in necromancy, selling human flesh, burning people at the stake, and other shady shit. Yeah, he's working on getting home, but he's having to do deals with a bunch of weirdos associated with six of the Seven Cardinal Sins.

Hey, have yall seen Saltburn yet? Was it just me or did it feel kinda like it was three movies mushed into one?

Here are my thoughts on what they could’ve been…

The first movie is like a coming of age movie set in college where a poor scholarship kid falls in love with old money friend. (👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨📚📝)I think it could’ve made a nice romcom about 2 worlds coming together. The biggest drama would be Farleigh and venita trying to break them up by seducing and exposing Oliver to Felix.

The second film is more like a fun dramatic movie about a middle class kid who lies about his life so that he can hang out with the rich kids for the summer. (😎🍉🥷💸)The big drama being how hard he tries to keep himself hidden, and how much he can steal before getting caught by the wealthy family members.

Lastly, the third film is a romcom/slasher mystery. (👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨💔🔪) in the last year of college two friends hang around out at the others mansion for the summer. Just before the poorer friend’s birthday he confesses his love for the other before being immediately rejected. The wealthy friend is willing to throw one last party for him before promptly shutting him out of his life. The poor friend is so upset at the rejection that he sets his anger and resentment towards his friend’s family. Slowly picking them and the party goers until in secret till no one is left.

Having a lot of fun thinking about nik having minor and increasingly weird curses on him for various periods of time. I'm talking things so casual he either doesn't notice them for a long while or doesn't care to break them. Couldn't drink wine without at least mildly choking on it around the 1750s. Still feels a hole burning into his tongue every time he says one particular old roman name. Kept getting struck by lightning during thunderstorms for a period of 30 years until he tracked it down to one particularly spiteful druid's bloodline. Most dogs are morally inclined to bite him. He has the opposite of a green thumb. And, since I'm thinking of an NPC medium for his story, I've decided they're the type to very quietly and cheekily slip him a karmic curse for bad luck whenever Nik comes around. It's the equivalent of finding a 'kick me' sign on his back every so often. He's metaphysically a chaotic patchwork of various energy and some magic from whatever witches or preternatural creatures he would've Gifted at the time, so little inconveniences like this often go unnoticed.
