(Can i just say i love ur work, i too read them like bedtime stories, u perform a great service to humanity my good comrade)
Also, could i request perhaps Reader needing to go undercover for a mission and getting a bit too close for comfort with some baddies and thus making Ghost worry? He’s certainly not jealous by any means tho, of course not! Nope. Not jealous at all. Not even a smidge.
He is tho. He’s jealous. In his own Ghost way.
Thank you for your kind words, nonny and sorry for being so late!
Reader is an undercover tourist in Paris for this one. No warnings, other than a pretty sulky Ghost. More A/N at the end.)
———————————————————————
He hasn’t uttered a word since you returned to your temporary base. No “good job,” no “well done,” no “thank you for risking your life for the team.” Nothing. He didn’t even stick around for the debriefing. Instead, he stashed his gear in his locker and headed straight to the kitchen.
Usually, after a high-stress operation, Ghost would go to the kitchen to make some tea. Yet, the way he went about his business today seemed more like he was about to sharpen his knives than brew himself a ‘cuppa’.
There is a reason he’s upset, though, and you know it. While you are always prepared to risk your life for the team, your latest actions were pretty... out of character, so to speak, and Ghost took notice of that.
You stare at the closed kitchen door, wondering what’s unfolding behind it, how he feels, and whether he can communicate it without lashing out.
“Maybe it’s best to give him some space,” Price advises, narrowing his eyes. “You did a pretty risky thing back there; no reason to push your luck.”
“A whole kitchen’s worth of space, Captain? you retort. “I’ll evacuate if things take a turn for the worse.”
“Call for backup if you can’t handle it,” he winks at you. “And don’t tell him I did that,” he says, pointing at his closed eye.
You smile at him, and push open the kitchen door. Ghost sits at the table, his back turned towards you, hunched over a cup of tea. He has his balaclava draped over his right thigh and his gloves on the table.
“Your hair is a mess.” You tease.
You reach to fix the stray hairs hanging over his forehead, but he pulls away from your touch. You lower your hand and go for the kettle instead. This will be much more difficult, you think to yourself.
“Coffee?” You offer. Although you know he’d refuse, you feel it’s a good way to break the ice.
Yet he doesn’t reply. Instead, he reclines on his chair and stirs the tea with a metal spoon. With your back turned to him, you pour the preheated water into your cup, add coffee granules, and cool it down with a gentle blow. The clinking of the metal spoon against the ceramic mug continues until it suddenly stops.
“Are you alright, mademoiselle?” He mocks, with a fake—and quite terrible—French accent, mimicking the enemy guard who “rescued” you when you dramatically pretended to twist your ankle in front of him.
A chuckle escapes you, and you turn to face him, leaning against the kitchen counter. He keeps his gaze fixed on his cup.
“I had to buy some time for Soap and Gaz, Lieutenant,” you explain. “They were inside that safehouse, gathering-”
“Intel,” he interjects. “I was there too; no need to rehash it.”
“The guards were dangerously close, sir,” you press on. “There was no time.”
He shakes his head. “No time doesn’t mean dropping to your hands and knees like a coquette, bawling your eyes out, waiting for a French knight in shining armour to come and save you now, does it?” he spats.
You raise an eyebrow. ‘Coquette’? You? He knows damn well the fall was staged, the tears were fabricated, the vulnerability was an act. The fall did hurt; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been believable. But shedding tears over twisting your ankle? No way. You’ve endured bullet wounds in the past, for heaven’s sake, and barely flinched. Ghost knows that. Yet, he looks more…
“Jealous, Lt.?”
“Don’t flatter yourself, sweetheart.” He murmurs, scratching his forehead.
“Say what you want,” You shrug. “But you must admit: it was a pretty convincing fall.”
“Yeah,” he replies. “Nothing says more ‘convincing’ like kissing the cobblestones of Paris.”
“Alright,” you say, leaving your cup on the kitchen counter. You cross your arms in front of your chest and nod upwards. “What would you have done, then?”
“Shoot him,” he responds, his black-painted eyes shifting from the cup to you. “That’s why I was up on the rooftop, remember?”
“What’s the point of going undercover if you’d eliminate the threat like that?” You persist. “And in a public place like that? Come on, Lt.!”
He pushes his cup to the side, places his hands on the kitchen table and stands up.
“Have you ever thought of what would have happened if your cover was blown?” He asks, raising his voice. “How was I supposed to protect you if you were right in front of my bloody target?”
You keep staring at him, his last words replaying in your mind.
How was I supposed to protect you…
You look at your mug on the counter; the steam from the coffee is almost gone. It must have been transferred onto him instead, you think to yourself. Might as well let him blow it off. Let him vent.
“I know how to protect myself, Ghost.”
He sits back on his chair and brings his tea closer, shaking his head.
“You should’ve waited for the signal.” He says. “We’ve got a plan for a reason.”
“I understand, s-”
“Falling in front of the enemy, letting him scoop you up like a fucking princess in agony, removing your shoe, fetching you ice from the coffee shop wasn’t part of the plan.”
A smile threatens to escape your lips, but you suppress it. You turn your back to him and pretend to clean the counter. There’s no reason to anger him more.
“Sir,” you begin. “What is the problem here: me not following orders or letting the guard run to my aid?”
“I don’t care about that French prick touching your ankle.” He murmurs.
Well, seems that ‘French prick’ touching you bothered him as much as you not following the plan. You stop fake-wiping the counter, grab your mug and turn towards him.
“I apologise, sir,” you say. “It won’t happen again. But you could have voiced your concerns in a less... abrasive way.”
“Wasn’t the pavement abrasive enough?” He snaps. “What’s next? Are you going to cry over it?”
You click your tongue and approach the table, extending your hand for a handshake.
“Alright, enough,” you say. “Let’s make a truce and end this right now.”
He remains still, looking at you. He finally reaches for your hand, but instead of shaking it, he twists it so your palm faces down. With a smirk, he stands up, brings it to his mouth, and kisses it.
“Isn’t that how that fucker would have done it?” he asks, still smiling.
You roll your eyes. At least his anger has died down and you’re left with his—typical—snarky self. You pull a chair across from him.
“Mind if I sit?” You ask.
“Normally, I’d tell you to ‘hit the bricks’,” He murmurs, motioning for you to take your place. “But you’ve already done that.”
———————————————————————
A/N: I keep confusing “ankle” with “uncle”. You twist your ankle, not your uncle ffs.

Spider!! Hola :)
So I know I came back way too early this time but with this whole situation we lost sight that 2 of the affected family members will be having their bdays.
So, if you don't feel comfortable with us asking so soon for a boost I do come asking for a fool proof apple pie recipe.
We're short on money so gifts are out of the question, but I could make them something tasty, and they have always wanted to try apple pie.
There are many recipes on the internet but I need one even I, who have never baked a pie, can bake.
Hope it's not a weird petition, I just remembered you have valuable experience in the recipes department.
Thanks for taking time to read our ask, please stay safe!
If you're looking for foolproof, I would actually skip over Apple pie as a starting point & I would instead go for an apple crisp.
A crisp is much easier to make - pastry can be really finicky if you aren't familiar with how to make it, whereas a crisp you just mix together all the good stuff that makes a tasty topping and you are good to go.
Easy Apple Crisp
Ingredients
1/2c butter, cold (do not take out to soften like you would for cookies)
6 apples (Granny Smith, Fuji, Pink Lady, or similar. NOT RED DELICIOUS.)
2T granulated sugar
2t pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon, if that's what you've got, but I find that using pumpkin pie spice is just... better... if you can)
2t lemon juice
1c light brown sugar, lightly packed
1c old-fashioned rolled oats
1c all-purpose flour (if using gluten-free flour, that's fine - you don't need to add xanthan gum for this recipe)
1/2c chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2c craisins (technically optional, but don't skip)
Pinch kosher salt
Equipment
2 medium-sized mixing bowls
Sharp knife
Cutting board
2 large spoons for mixing
1 small bowl for butter
Method
Wash hands thoroughly before beginning. You should do this every time you cook or bake, but especially this time, bc we will be handling a lot of the ingredients directly.
Cut butter into small cubes. Put into small bowl and place back into refrigerator to keep cold until needed.
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 8" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or grease with butter. Set aside.
Core and chop apples into large bite-sized pieces, about as big across as a nickel. Some people peel the apples. I don't. I think that's a lot of extra work to eliminate a great source of fiber & flavor. Place apples in one of the mixing bowls. Add lemon juice, granulated sugar, 1t of the pumpkin pie spice. Stir until combined, then pour into prepared baking dish.
If you prefer smaller bits, lightly chop the craisins. I like them full-sized, personally.
Put the rest of the ingredients except the butter - craisins, chopped nuts, brown sugar, flour, oats, 1t pie spice, salt - into the 2nd bowl and stir to combine.
Get the butter out of the fridge. Work it into the dry ingredients with your fingers until you have pea-sized crumbs. You can also use a fork or two knives for this or a pastry blender if you're very posh, but I really prefer using my hands. It's easier, and you get better texture, IMO.
Spread evenly over apple mix. Even it out a bit with the back of one of your mixing spoons. Don't leave any big gaps, but also don't press down on the mix at all.
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apple/sugar mix bubbles up at the corners of the dish.
Notes
This recipe is specifically written with round amounts to make it easy to size up or down! You can halve this or double it. Doubling it should make about enough to fill a 13 x 9 casserole dish.
Make sure to adjust your cooking time if you adjust the size!
If you have small oven-safe bowls or ramekins, you can divide this between those ramekins instead. If you do this, DON'T heap up the topping higher than the top of the dish. It gets very easy to spill.
Like technically you don't HAVE to use the nuts or craisins but ... why would you want to skip those? THE FLAVOR!!
If you really prefer raisins I guess you can use those. I hate raisins, and also craisins add a tart element which makes the dish really delightful and more complex IMO.
You can make a crisp like this with lots of different fruit! This recipe works pretty much exactly the same if you substitute in 4-5c of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or pears. You may want to fiddle with the amount of white sugar or the spices, but yeah. Once you know this recipe, it's a good basic dessert recipe that you can use for a lot of fruit!
If using berries, make sure to rinse them very well with cold water and inspect for any spots of mold. Supermarket berries get moldly REALLY fast. If possible, buy berries from chain supermarkets the day you're going to use them, and check berries in the store. Open the containers, don't be shy. Nothing sucks more than wasting money from your grocery budget and realizing when you get home that you bought moldy berries.
Enjoy!

You’d been staring him down for what felt like an eternity, one of his knives clutched in your hand. The point was stuck into the wooden table in front of you, leaving a scattering of little divots and associated piles of wood granule all across the surface as you spun it lazily.
Daryl simply stared back. He’d tested the bonds he found himself in and had known from the first tug that they were secure. The only thing he could do was stare back. He felt like you were trying to get a scan on him with x-ray vision or something... His blue eyes darted back to his knife in your hand and then back up to your face, which was partially hidden in shadow.
“Am I scaring you?”
It was the first damn thing you’d said to him. His mind whirred as he tried to work out how to answer. Honesty was probably best. “I dunno,” he drawled. His voice was thick with rough gravel from the dryness in his throat. Plus, he had no idea how long it’d been since he’d said a word. “‘M tryin’ to work out whether I should be scared of ya or not. Ya knocked me out and tied me to a damn pipe. But ya also stitched up my leg and put clean bandages on everythin’ else. The hell am I s’posed to think?”
For some reason this made you smile slightly, and you leaned back, putting your boots up on the table, surveying him over your propped up feet. He was annoyed to experience some burst of warmth in his chest when the corner of your mouth had tugged upwards like that—a completely involuntary bodily response. Shit. He didn’t even know who the fuck you are. Why the hell was he attracted to you when you were holding him captive?
Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts again. “Fair analysis,” you said. You flipped his knife around in your hand skillfully. “I want to know why the hell you were lurking around my camp. And if you give me a decent answer maybe you won’t need to be afraid.”
“Lurkin’? I wasn’t lurkin’ ‘round anywhere, alrigh’? I was trackin’ a goddamn deer,” he growled back. “And I still dunno how ya managed to sneak up on me.” He was grumpy about that... Well, that and being tied to the pipe.
You smiled again before getting up. Daryl felt a wash of apprehension, but you simply moved around the back of the dilapidated couch and clicked on a lantern which illuminated a deer carcass hanging in the next room. “You mean this deer?”
Daryl sighed, recognizing the big buck immediately. “Yeah. Tha’s my damn deer.” He was thinking of all the hungry people back home.
“So, I suppose this is your bolt then?” you asked, holding it up so he could see it. Daryl nodded. “Just for the record... this is my deer. I’ve been watching him all year. I happened to be tracking him too that day, hoping for a shot.”
“Is that why I’m tied up to a damned pipe?” Daryl asked gruffly. “Because I happened to be trackin’ the same deer you were trackin’? And way I see it, I’m the one that shot him, so that makes him my deer.” He wondered if he would regret asserting that. You had the upper hand here for sure...
“No, we already covered why you’re tied to a pipe. You were too close to my camp. And—” you stepped into the next room and rotated the deer on the rope it was suspended from. “—we both shot him.” There was an arrow wound on both sides, yours and his. “Not exactly Cinderella, but I have to admit that it does seem oddly fated, don’t you think?”
Daryl simply stared at you, his eyes slightly narrowed. “Look, I don’t give a shit ‘bout the damn deer anymore, okay? Sure, it would help people back home, but more than that I wanna get the fuck outta here. So, what do I gotta do to make that happen?” You only smiled at him again, and once more his heart jumped in his chest. What the fuck... “We’ll see. Maybe tomorrow,” you said. And you clicked off the lantern. Daryl watched your progress through the room and into the next and then suddenly the little house was quiet. What in the fuck had this goddamn deer gotten him into? Prompt: “Am I scaring you?”

look upon my reverse engineered cookie recipe ye mighty and despair
this is a dupe of these cookies because i hate the company that makes them. they're really snooty and quite frankly i think their sale model is shite (who the fuck makes limited edition cookies and won't publish the nutritional info. i'll kill you). they also charge $7 per cookie which is just highway robbery i think, especially considering that i figured out the recipe and made it better in my shitty little apartment kitchen. enjoy
frankenstein cookies
yield: 12 three-ounce cookies or 6 six-ounce cookies (sale size)
ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
6 tbsp light brown sugar (packed)
2 tbsp granulated white sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
10 ounces m&ms, divided
6 double stuf oreos
method:
divide the oreos, separating the cookies from the filling. add the oreo cookies (just the cookie part. you should have twelve of them) to a plastic bag and pulverize with a rolling pin. set aside.
add the oreo filling to a bowl, along with both sugars and the butter. cream together using a hand mixer on medium speed or two knives, until mixture reaches the consistency of wet sand. tip: cutting the butter into cubes can help speed up the process.
add egg and vanilla, combine.
add flour, salt, and baking powder, combine. dough will be sticky but should be at a uniform consistency.
add 8oz of the m&ms to the dough and stir to distribute. tip: it's easier to use your hands for this part.
use an ice cream scoop or tablespoon to divide the dough into equal portions of the desired weight. i used a 3oz ice cream scoop, which makes cookies about 2" in diameter.
pour the oreo cookie crumble you made in step 1 into a bowl. roll each dough ball in crumble and set on a baking sheet or plate. press each dough ball into a disc using the bottom of a glass or your hands.
insert the remaining m&ms into the surface of each disc. chill for at least 30 minutes. meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375º.
remove chilled cookies from the refrigerator and bake for 10-12 minutes for 3oz cookies or 16-18 minutes for 6oz cookies. tip: if the cookies aren't baked all the way through, you'll be able to hear the liquid ingredients baking off, which makes a sizzling noise. once the sizzling noise quiets down, they're ready to be removed from the oven.
remove the cookies from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. serve warm.
make-ahead note: at step 8, you can chill the cookies in the fridge for up to 4 days.
variations:
you can also incorporate additional, chopped-up oreos into the dough (this is what the original seller does), but this works best in the 6oz version. i've also been informed that pecans might be a good addition - unfortunately i'm allergic to pecans so you'll just have to try that one for yourself and let me know.

Summary: Child Prue uses her powers to see a future that makes her happy
CW: child abuse, mentions of religious trauma
Prue knelt on the kitchen floor, her body turned toward the wall, rigid and stiff with building pain. A layer of hard, uncooked grain coated the linoleum beneath her like shards of opaque glass. The grits dug into the pink of her knees, carving divots into her skin. She’d been kneeling there long enough to feel each granule grind against her bones. Hundreds of tiny knives. Her knees reddened as they swelled and blood pooled under the membrane of her skin. Adjusting her weight offered no relief, just drove the pain to another swath of dermis. Later, when her punishment was done, she would be allowed to brush away the grains and gather them into a jagged pile to be swept up and reused. Then, she would curl up on the cleared off tile with her knees bent, and she would gingerly pick out the grits nestled in the artificial dimples covering her skin.
She refused to cry. The glass-like shards sent stinging pain swimming through the channels of her nervous system, and in response, an ache welled up in her throat, tightening and constricting. Her shoulders, looking like the stones that jutted out of the kitchen fireplace, angular and clad in a sooty black, rose in a sharp slant as she pulled in a deep breath. The lingering smell of cornmeal, fried oil, and milk touched her lungs. She pushed the breath out through her nose. With each slow breath, she forced the horrible tight ache of tears down. She wouldn’t cry. She wouldn’t give her father that. Staring at the wall, she imagined him sitting at his desk in the tepid green light of his office, surrounded by civil war memorabilia indicative of his antiquated, chauvinistic character, a twisted snarl of smile on his face as he ruminated over the torture he was inflicting on his youngest daughter. The evil in his heart would be reflected in his dark features, his low, thick brow shadowing his eyes, the visible discoloration of his teeth as his lips pulled back in that cruel smile.
In truth, little Prue didn’t know what went on inside her father. The tyranny that to her seemed like bloodthirst and a deep set craving for inflicting agony instead stemmed from a tumultuous fear and love for the Lord. In the name of God, he passed judgment with righteous paternity, believing his high-handed guidance would force her into the way of the light and save her from holy wrath. The grits digging into her skin would be her salvation.
A few short years ago, when Prudence was a few inches shorter but no less skinny and sharp-boned, she stood in the threshold of the kitchen and watched her sister, Mercy, a teenager at the time, endure in muffled agony the same punishment of kneeling on grits. Mercy had sniffled and kept her sobs quiet, trying not to incur more wrath as silent tears rolled past her puffy eyelids and down her reddened cheeks. Her crime had been sharing the same spacious, open air as a teenage boy in her class, without a chaperone. They’d been close enough that they could feel the comforting warmth of each other’s awkward bodies, but not close enough to feel the soft stroke of the other’s skin.
The girls’ mother had watched passively, her pale features making her seem a detached ghostly apparition, as their father announced Mercy’s sentence. While Mercy was made to pour grits onto the floor, their mother had left the room, floating on silent feet, too faint of heart to abide the suffering of another, but too cowardly to emerge from her specter form to speak against her husband’s cruel idea of justice.
Prue’s expression twisted at the memory, her nose bunching and turning up, her small lips pinching together hard. She hated them. She hated her mother’s passivity. Her indifference. Her cowardice. She hated her father’s iron fist. His tyranny. His righteousness. She hated that Mercy had been too weak to hold back her tears, that she’d shown weakness in the face of their father. She hated all of them.
Prudence let her resentment boil hotly, building within her like a wretched, bitter stew, festering in her heart. She focused her gaze on the wall, her dark eyes sliding over the thin paths in the wallpaper, spindly veins beneath thin, aged flesh. The pattern was a whisper of what it once was, the flowers now sickly shades of paled pink and green, the birds yellow-brown blemishes of death. At the baseboard, the wallpaper curled and pulled away on its seams, disgusted by itself. Her gaze fell on a moisture stain, a tawny blossom around bubbling, stiff paper.
The stain bloomed, waxing and ebbing in time with Prue’s deep breaths like an alien living thing, the lacy edges devouring the flowers and birds with a cold, inhuman hunger. The small leaves printed on the wallpaper faded further, blinking into pale, ice-white stars. The blossom spread until it had consumed the entire kitchen. The pain of gritty grains gouging into her knees spread up Prue’s thighs, pockmarking her skin with holes of a dried lotus pod. The sharp stabbing dug into the soft meat of her thighs and the potbelly pouch of baby fat she still carried, over her bony chest, carving into her ribs and sternum, up her neck and cheeks, down the sensitive skin of her upper arms, pricking the veins of her forearms. It spread and burned until she could feel nothing else at all.
And then, any semblance of the kitchen was gone, and the pain sloughed off, and her skin was smooth and unmarked. She knelt in the vastness of space, surrounded by uncaring stars and impersonal dark matter. Everything between her ears felt electric, fritzing and popping as she let go and sank into the madness.
The cold disconnection of being settled into her madness was uncomfortable but not unfamiliar. Even at her young age, she had grown accustomed to slipping into this void, guided by a detached, unknowable being. She blinked and looked around. There was nothing and there was everything. Any possibility, any future, any connection to her lay within her reach. Too many possibilities. A nervous queasiness seized her, bile spinning within her. Her heartbeat quickened, a frightened rabbit thumping away.
The unknowable being, formless and bodiless, placed handless hands on her shoulders and guided her. There was no direction in this cosmos. No up or down, no left or right. One turn and she’d lost all sense of orientation. But the unknowable being guided her, still teaching her young mind how to navigate this directionless infinity.
Above her, one of the stars, a small green one, glowed brighter. A tense buzzing filled the void. Prue’s small frame vibrated. A second cosmos superimposed over the stars, flickering uneasily, as uncertain as the future it would show her. The star grew, burning and crackling. It grew hotter and hotter until suddenly, it ripped open with an angry, burning violence that stung Prue’s skin with millions of tiny pinpricks. Her very cells vibrated and burned. The light of the furious tear blazed white-hot, snapping and sizzling and blinding her. She shrank away instinctively.
It happened in a fraction of a second. And then she was standing in the plantation house. There was the feeling that Prue always had in this house: the house was alive with something horrible, deep-seated and evil, raised on generations of spilled blood. A heavy, pungent sweat hung in the air. Deep, earthy breathing from somewhere deep inside the foundation. But, at the same time, there was something else. An encroaching lifelessness. A feeling that soon this home, if it could be called such a thing, would have no creature in it but the plantation itself. That dreaded beast would always hang heavy on this land. But soon nothing human would remain.
In the upstairs office, Prue and her father were the only human inhabitants of the house. And soon, he would be gone too. The stark red of the confederate flags that adorned the walls and desk contrasted darkly with the swampy green light that hung over the room. Prue stood in a body that was hers but not the her of today. Though the bones of her shoulders still jutted out at aggressive angles, the sharp edges of her ribs and pelvis had blurred and softened into something gentler, the round baby fat of her belly had shifted, plushly fattening her thighs and hips. The skin of her arms was covered by modest sleeves, but she could see faint, agitated seams of red haloed by white on her pale hands.
In this woman’s body that didn’t yet belong to her, Prue stood above her father. The man that was once a mountainous tyrant cowered pathetically against the balcony windows, reduced to a wretched, sniveling piglet of a man. Prue watched with the cold passivity she’d inherited from her mother as she inflicted a tortuous end upon him. Her expression stayed disconnected, but a fountain of childlike glee bubbled in her chest, airy and light.
The unknowable being guided her through untold futures of daydreams come true, each one ripping open with a blinding, searing light that seemed to tear open the fabric of reality. As she watched her father, her mother, and sometimes her siblings, come to grievous ends at her own hand, the message was made clear. There was hope. There were futures where she gave herself everything she wanted. Everything she’d ever deserved. Everything they deserved.
With another blinding light, these happy visions sealed themselves away behind the inky fabric of space, and Prue again knelt in the vastness, surrounded by fading stars. As she breathed, the stars morphed, curling into old, printed leaves, and the blackness slowly slipped away, waning and sliding away over a dingy, decaying old wallpaper. Birds and flowers sprouted on the milky green paper, leaving marks like ugly, week-old bruises, mottled sickly yellows and greens. The kitchen reformed and she escaped the recesses of her own mind.
There she knelt on the hard grits, staring at the wall until she was relieved of her position, comforted by the brutal visions of the future.

Built with durable materials to withstand heavy use and harsh operating conditions, ensuring longevity and reliability. What types of plastics can be processed? The machinery can typically handle a variety of plastics, including PET, HDPE, PP, and more, depending on the specific setup. How does the washing process impact recycling efficiency? Thorough washing improves the quality of recycled plastics, leading to better performance in downstream manufacturing processes. Are there specific detergents recommended for washing plastic? We recommend using environmentally friendly detergents, but the specific products depend on the type of plastic and the contaminants present. Working Process:
Feed Preparation: Workers sort the scrap plastic and feed it into the washing machine. Initial Rinsing: The material undergoes a preliminary rinse to remove loose dirt and debris. Washing: The main washing cycle uses water, detergents, and agitation to thoroughly clean the plastic, removing contaminants. Rinsing: After washing, the system rinses the plastic to eliminate any residual cleaning agents. Drying: The system then dries the cleaned plastic using air knives or centrifugal drying techniques to prepare it for the next processing stage. adjust the slot dimensions for granule size and shape
When adjusting the slot dimensions in die plates for EPS granulators to achieve desired granule size and shape, several factors should be considered. Here are some additional factors to take into account:
EPS Material Properties: The properties of the EPS material being processed, such as its density, melt flow index, and viscosity, can influence how the slot dimensions affect granule size and shape. Different EPS materials may respond differently to changes in slot dimensions, so understanding the specific characteristics of the material is important.
Granulator Operating Parameters: The operating parameters of the granulator, including the feed rate, cutting speed, and temperature, can impact the granulation process. Adjustments to slot dimensions should be made while considering these parameters to ensure compatibility and optimize the granule size and shape.
Cutting Mechanism: The type and condition of the cutting mechanism in the granulator, such as the blades or knives, can affect the effectiveness of the granulation process. Ensure that the cutting mechanism is properly adjusted, maintained, and aligned with the die plate slots to achieve consistent and desired granule size and shape.
By considering these factors and conducting systematic adjustments while closely monitoring the granulation process and resulting granules, you can effectively optimize the slot dimensions to achieve the desired granule size and shape in EPS granulation by EPS granulator.

Fraisage | Pie Dough
Place 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon fine salt in a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Place 1/4 cup ice water and 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar in a measuring cup or a small bowl and stir to combine.
Cut 1 stick cold unsalted butter into 1-inch cubes. Add to the flour mixture and toss to gently coat them. Use a pastry cutter or 2 knives to cut the butter into the flour. You should have various-sized pieces of butter, ranging from sandy patches to pea-sized chunks, with some larger bits as well.
Drizzle in about half of the ice water mixture and stir lightly with a fork until the flour is evenly moistened and the dough starts to come together. If the dough seems dry, add a little more ice water 1 to 2 tablespoons at a time. The dough will still look a bit shaggy at this point. If you grab a small piece of dough and press it slightly with your hand, it should mostly hold together.
Dump the dough out onto an unfloured work surface and gather it together into a tight mound. Using the heel of your hand, smear the dough a little at a time, pushing it away from you and working your way down the mass of dough to create flat layers of flour and butter.
Gather the dough back together with a bench scraper, layering the clumps of dough on top of one another. Repeat the process once or twice more; the dough should still have some big pieces of butter visible. Shape the dough into a disk and flatten it. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to overnight.

Lamb Chops with Spiced Yogurt Marinade
Lamb Chops have become one of our spring must have proteins. We have tried so many different ways of making lamb and have loved them all!!! So, trying a yogurt marinated lamb was a fun experience. The lamb was so tender after marinating for 3 hours we didn't even need a knife to cut the finished product. In fact, I was asked to leave the kitchen because I ate one of the lamb chops while Amy was trying to take pictures for the blog. I mean, she did ask me to pick one up for a picture and, of course, my natural instinct was to take a bite. So, in my world you don't even need a knife or fork! Key steps for making the lamb chops This is one of those dishes that everyone is going to think you spent hours making. Plus, we found the lamb chops can be cooked rare, medium rare, or well done and they come out tender and full of flavor, so everyone will be happy! The spices and lemon juice mix right in the yogurt to make a quick marinade. We added habanero, which gave a nice spicy zip to the lamb chop recipe, but peppers are totally optional. If you don't want it spicy, just leave out the habanero or add more if you want it super spicy. We think the addition of the habanero gives a nice sweet and spicy flavor to every bite and it works well with the other seasoning, but doesn't necessarily make the entire dish. How do I cut a rack of lamb? Don't be intimated by a rack of lamb. I used to think there is no way I can cut a rack of lamb to make lamb chops. Boy, was I wrong!!! This is so easy. Just stand the rack on its bottom and cut in between the bones. A sharp knife helps make this really easy but, just so you know, my knives are super dull and they worked just fine. 😀 Squeeze lemon juice on the lamb chops than sprinkle salt, pepper, and granulated garlic on both sides. Place the lamb chops in a container that can be placed in the refrigerator. Coat the lamb chops in the spiced yogurt. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to overnight. We marinate ours for about 3 hours and it works great. This helps break down the meat and makes it soooooo tender. About 30 minutes before you're ready to cook, remove the lamb chops from the fridge and remove/scrape off the majority of the marinade. I used a table knife but a paper towel can also be used to remove the marinade. This is to keep the yogurt mixture from burning in the pan while the chops are cooking. You want to get a nice sear and if there is too much marinade on the lamb it can burn before the chops have cooked all the way through. Cooking the lamb chops Heat olive oil in a large saute pan. We used 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil to cut some calories. It is ok to use a little more olive oil if you want. Cook the lamb chops 2 - 3 minutes on each side for a medium. We use a meat thermometer to get the preferred temperature. TIP: Place them in a 200 degree oven to keep warm while cooking the rest of the chops. Temperatures for Lamb Rare - 115 - 120F Medium rare - 125F Medium - 130F Medium well - 145F Well done - 150F How to serve Serve with rice, risotto or your favorite potatoes. Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the lamb chops. If you don't like cilantro use parsley, green onions or chives. A Tzatziki sauce would be very nice with the lamb chops. Lamb Chops with Spiced Yogurt Marinade Lamb Chops marinate in lemon, yogurt, & a variety of easy to find spices. After pan searing the lamb is ultra tender and infused with flavor. #wprm-recipe-user-rating-0 .wprm-rating-star.wprm-rating-star-full svg * { fill: #ffffff; }#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0 .wprm-rating-star.wprm-rating-star-33 svg * { fill: url(#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-33); }#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0 .wprm-rating-star.wprm-rating-star-50 svg * { fill: url(#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-50); }#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0 .wprm-rating-star.wprm-rating-star-66 svg * { fill: url(#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-66); }linearGradient#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-33 stop { stop-color: #ffffff; }linearGradient#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-50 stop { stop-color: #ffffff; }linearGradient#wprm-recipe-user-rating-0-66 stop { stop-color: #ffffff; } Print Pin Course: Brunch, Dinner Cuisine: American Keyword: Lamb, Lamb Chops, yogurt Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes3 hours Total Time: 3 hours 22 minutes Servings: 4 Calories: 507kcal Author: Belly Laugh Living IngredientsLamb Chop2 Pounds Lamb Chops1 teaspoon Salt1 teaspoon Black pepper1 teaspoon Minced garlic or garlic powder1/2 Lemon2 Tablespoons Olive Oil1 Cup Cilantro ChoppedSpiced Yogurt1 1/2 Cups Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt1 teaspoon Cumin1 teaspoon Turmeric1 teaspoon Garam Masala1 teaspoon Curry Powder1 teaspoon Minced Garlic or Garlic Powder1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon1 teaspoon Paprika1/2 Tablespoon Habanero Chopped (Optional) Only add if you want it spicy 1/2 Lemon InstructionsSpiced Yogurt MarinadeMix together yogurt, 1/2 lemon, and spices.
