u know the thing thats pissing me off too is i just know whoever does win is gonna get clowned on no matter what bc of the draw.
#like.#best case scenario is elena vs coco final#but because of the draw and no aryna and high seeds losing etc etc etc...#coco's playing emma (navarro) in r4#and will play either jasmine or madi in the quarters...and then an unseeded player in the semis 😭#granted two of the four possible unseeded players are paula and emma#but still like. what#elena's side is like. decent but not one top 10 player#though tbh it's elena i just know she's gonna lose in straight sets to kalinskaya or some stupid shit#putintseva penko krejcikova danielle bia kalinskaya svitolina wang all possible opponents#like it's a decent list but no one's gonna look at that and think it's a grand slam draw#it's entirely possible that either of them could win the whole thing without facing a single top 10 player#if jasmine loses to madi and coco and elena face each other in the final then they both will be the first top 10 player faced by the other
