If so I want to respectfully say it shouldn’t! I kinda love the vibe of “Andy’s family!” I kinda like the thought of him and reader growing close in a platonic way like… platonic soulmates in a weird but beautiful way.

And I don’t think the whole “yandere” Andy thing will really work in this situation 😭I’m kinda a little confused on that.. I mean the situation they’re currently about to be in is quite literally hell and fighting to stay alive what space would a yandere Andy have here?

hey there, thank you for sharing your thoughts! i agree that platonic bonds can be just as strong and beautiful, and i did love andy's familial role with rain in the movie. but i just want to say it's a bit disheartening to be told something ‘shouldn't’ happen or that a concept ‘won't work.’

constructive criticism is always welcome/awesome, but suggesting a writer would be better off doing something else can be damaging to their confidence. just because it’s not how you’d write it doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

if you were confused about the yandere aspect or why i made it that way, i would have gladly explained! i made andy yandere because, while watching the movie, i felt he didn't deserve the things he went through, from enduring bjorn's insults and even the eventual knowledge that he'd be discarded after helping them all and rain's compliance with it.

honestly, i could go on and on, but to put it simply, i wanted to give andy some selfish motives after everything he went through in the movies. i hope this clears things up a bit!
