🌿🔮My newest candle, “Grandma Roses Crystal Ball” is dedicated to the Romani fortune teller known as Grandma Rose. There’s not a lot of information about Grandma Rose, and it’s been said that there might have been more than one. That some Romani fortune tellers would take on the name Grandma Rose so she would bless them with crystal clear visions. Whoever the first Grandma Rose was, I’m sure she was a force of nature and someone I would love to have a beer with. I imagine that she made the very best borscht and always had a kettle of tea on for her influx of visitors. I imagine her having many cats and one little dog that was always sitting on her lap, perhaps he only had one good eye and he was his happiest when Grandma finally closed her door for the night and would sit there stroking him while rocking herself asleep by the fireplace. I can imagine the cats getting into everything and her scolding them only when they knocked something over. I imagine her having many beautiful things, rare collections from all over the world that people would use as payment. No matter who she was, she left a fingerprint on this planet that will probably be here long after we’re all gone.
